After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

Just projecting here to the future! I think the tour show will definitely open with Trespassing but I can’t wait to see how he mixes up the rest of the music. He really can’t do one half fast, fierce music and the second half slower deeper introspective music. He somehow may integrate everything together in some sort of a story line. I really can’t wait to see what he comes up with.

Gonna listen to the vinyl first, I think. My box set has shipped…and they didn’t upgrade me, they sold me the box set separately in error, so the CD has also shipped. Then I Have a few coming from B&N, and the UK one…I really, really hope that no one here puts 1+1+3+1 together and realizes what I have done…gonna have to get home before everyone else for a while…

We actually got a call today from the VISA fraud detection department wondering about a $49.99 charge AND a $15.00 charge for the same thing from a music website. My husband took the call. Gulp.
He emailed me about it. I briefly said that those purchases were mine. Not fraudulent.
He responds: “Good heavens, what are you downloading? Adam Lambert’s and Queen’s entire catalogue plus videos?”
Eeek! I’ve been outed! First, I chastised him for thinking that I don’t already own Adam’s complete catalog and then some. Then I had to explain – over email – that I had ordered the CD, then wanted the deluxe set but couldn’t upgrade due to glitches on the site, so ordered the deluxe set outright and never bothered to cancel the original CD order. So now I’ll have the deluxe version for myself and an extra CD to give away as a gift to someone, etc. etc. Finished it by saying “I’m sure that’s more than you wanted to know, right?”
His email response? “OOOOOOOOHH-Kay”
Haha I love him. LOL
{psssst} He doesn’t know that I have also pre-ordered the album on itunes and plan to purchase the UK version when we’re in London. Don’t tell him!

I cancelled my itunes pre-order, and if I don’t have a cd in my hands by midnight on the 15th when downloads become available, I’m going to download it from AO. The quality is better, at least it has been on the singles.
My box is set for delivery on the 15th. No word on the amazon or B&N orders. We’ll be waiting awhile for the UK version.

ultimathule, I know that P2 is not as “good” a singer as Joshua and Jessica; but I would recognize his voice out of a crowd, whereas I probably could not pick Joshua or Jessica out of a crowd of just voices. That’s why I would pick P2 as my Idol. His “Volcano” was just beautiful. Holly should have been gone IMO.

I haven’t listened to to the album yet either, other than a momentary slip up 2 nights ago when I listened to Running. Yesterday I was trying to keep busy and away from temptation, so I bought 3 copies of the album from Barnes and Noble. That’s in addition to the 2 from Amazon and 1 from AO. Only B&N has sent me a notice about shipping so far. One of these albums had better arrive by 5/16 at the latest! My husband hasn’t noticed the B&N order yet. I can’t wait to see his reaction!
mmm222, when did you get a notice from B&N? That’s the only 3 copies that I have ordered, but I haven’t received any kind of notice from them. Did it specify from B&N or was it under some other name that I may have thought was spam?
OMG, Adam looks sooooooooo good on Chelsea’s show.
Just watched 27 minutes of something, but not gonna tell you what it was or where it was – don’t wanna tempt the weaker ones among us. Lol – I’m the weakest of all. If it’s about the boy, don’t see any benefit in waiting. Suppose I get hit by a truck walking out the front door – go to my heavenly reward – such as it is – and never get a chance to see or hear this stuff. Not taking any chances, my lovelies.
Just watched Chelsea Lately. It was actually very nice. Adam looked so Hawt. He was uber smiley and laughing a lot. Not a short interview. I think it was even longer this time. She actually had information on him, and asked appropriate questions. She definitely was on his side.
Ok–I found one person who didn’t know Adam was gay. My husband. I’ve spent a lot of time hiding my Adam crush from him, and when I’ve gotten caught watching videos, I’ll tell him it’s ok, he’s gay. It’s funny that he gets jealous after almost 40 years of marriage.
My husband knows Adam’s name–my kids are always talking about him. Anyway, I was watching Chelsea Lately, while he was in the other room. I think he heard Adam’s name and rushed to the room to make sure I was behaving myself. His only comment to me after listening to the interview a bit was “He’s gay?”
Guess I don’t blame him–Adam doesn’t look like the same person he was when I was preparing for my GlamNation concert. He may not realize it’s the same person.
When I went to my Dad’s tonight to watch Idol, Dad asked me if I knew that Adam was going to be on Chelsea Lately tonight. I had to tell him that I doubted he could tell me anything about Adam that I didn’t already know!
Funny, my husband and son #2 both noticed that I had two e-mails from the Adam Lambert store. I just said that usually I get duplicate messages. Well, sometimes that happens, right?

David Cook almost had a Adam hairdo, my not up to the times husband said whats with Davids hair, looks like Adams haha. I just cant seem to enjoy David, I try but I just dont get his voice. I know people love it, and him, so I am happy for David and his fans.
Sorry for Hollie getting voted off, she seems like a beautiful person, and I like her voice, I even got a few tears I feel bad for her, boy Josh was really crying, they were really close. As far as the Top 3 I really dont care who wins but I do like Phillip, as strange as he sings, he could be interesting. The other two just scream to much for me.

I applaud everyone who sent an email and I’m in no way diminishing those efforts but putting pen to paper and a stamp on an envelope usually receives more attention and is taken much more seriously.
