February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Adam seems to be even more confident in the latest interviews..

    About celebrity world and a documentary (“Going clear”)about Scientology church…
    but this part of the article caught my attention:

    Can understand Attitude Magazine. This is a big deal for them. They want to do it right and it doesnt help Adam at all if anything is made available before the paper mag is even on sale. Glamberts are going to buy the mag either way but there are other readers or interested ppl who just would read it online…

    It sucks, I enjoyed seeing the vids too but its buisness.

    What I cant stand is the endless discussion on twitter Thinking Its copyright, Attitude has copyright, no discussion needed. At least for me.

    In a few weeks no one will care if the whole mag is posted online. Its just too early imo

    They are starting to block the access gay websites over here at my place… I could not reach the website of “Out” magazine and some Italian gay website which featured Adam’s picture…
    I have seen some gay magazine though in a bookstore that belongs to some international franchise…

    The funny part is that Adam has already performed twice in my country… once in an upscale mall in the capital as part of his WAG-tour and once on demand for the opening of a luxurious hotel in Bali…

    More morning musings (while most of ALL still sleeps).

    I woke up this morning thinking about the two wonderful interviews that have just come out, one only on-line and one set to come out in a British LGBT magazine. Both are excellent, in-depth, articulate and intelligent, just what we love about Adam, with gorgeous photos added for our viewing pleasure. (I melted when I saw the ones of him with the puppy.) But then I started thinking…..(always dangerous)……..Both of these publications are from the UK. How many people are going to see them other than their target audience and us Glamberts who sniff out every reference to Adam anywhere in the world? I know that there have been tweets and internet blurbs about it, but realistically, how much of the potential listening public follows radio station’s tweets or entertainment internet sites? I really believe that Adam has taken off in the UK as a result of his association with Queen, and the NYE show and tour are still fresh in their minds. They are interested in knowing further who this young American is and what he can do in addition to singing with Queen. Shoshana is doing a great job, and she is in London!

    But what about the US? Where are the in-depth articles in American based magazines? With all due respect to twitter, you can’t compare that to a good interview. He needs to be on Jimmy Fallon or SNL (I have heard all kinds of reasons why NBC won’t have him). All of those wonderful radio interviews and mini-shows that he did for Trespassing produced some lovely music and sound bites, but really did nothing to get Adam more widely known. With all due respect to American Idol, and I will always be thankful to that show for introducing Adam to the world, even if he debuts Ghost Town on the show, Idol’s audience is way down, and I am not sure if he will be seen as much more that another Idol graduate putting out a new song, no matter how good it is.

    I am in no way trying to be a Debbie Downer. I love where Adam’s career has taken him, both professionally and personally, and he looks very happy now, I just see the differences between his promotion in the UK and in the US. That nationally televised NYE show did more to get him known there than all of the sold out arena shows did in the States. The people who went to the shows loved them (myself included) but most people don’t even know that they happened or that Queen still exists.

    Sorry if I am rambling. I know that Adam’s new label loves him. I just hope that they are waiting for the time to come nearer for the release of the single and the album, and then there will be an Adam Blitz on national TV, radio and magazines (not just internet ones). I might be totally off base and Adam is gaining in popularity in the US as I write, with anticipation growing in every corner of the country. What do I know? I am sitting here 5,000 miles away speculating and trying to pass the time until the music is released.

    It is interesting to read your thoughts. I have noticed many things you have too. I love this “new beginning” he has got especially in UK. New fresh start. So true what you said about NYE!

    I don’t know enough about US TV shows, but is it really so as you said that they don’t want him there anymore? Why, has he got a stigma from things he has done in past that is never forgiven Frown? I really hope that is not true, if so it makes me sad and angry…

    LadyNorth, I don’t think that it is an issue of “they don’t want him there anymore”. It is more of his never really breaking out into the megastar status that he deserved after Idol.

    I have seen plenty of clips of Adam being on TV shows, but never watched those shows otherwise – not possible here. I don’t know who are the usual guests. But he was on so many shows after Idol during FYE era!

    It is a difficult cycle – how to get into big shows if you are not a superstar, how to become a superstar if people don’t know you have new music out…

    Hoping this time he’s going to hit it big! He seems very confident, so does his PR and WBR loves him.
