February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Ok seriously I am addicted already to that snippet. Since 8 am this morning I cant think of anything else. My colleagues and family already think I am totally crazy…And I am.

    The tune, the whistle, the drums even his breathing…

    And I am really happy for you guys! You support him already for so many years and now after three years there is new music and its sound so absolutely big, even just the short snippet. I know I am still new but I am at home.

    I was worried the last few days aboout the new music. Was concerned what will happen, I cant imagine how you guys felt.

    But since this morning. It really happens. It really does freaking happen. All the comments on Twitter who already heard it, Terence Spencers tweet to cwm this morning – I am on a high…dont know how it will end but I will sure enjoy the ride.

    Its getting hectic the next few weeks. And glad to be on the train with you guys

    By the way, I’m a dunce. I got all flaily last night that Adam had favorited Terrance’s tweet reply to me. I just checked the actual account in the cold hard light of day (and wakefulness) and it turns out that it was a fake imposter Adam account that favorited the tweet. Duped! Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Razz

    But I’m still all flaily that TERRANCE replied to me and gave us a flail-worthy response! Big Smile

    I can not believe that between the Record Label, his Management Co., his Publicity people, NO ONE had any inkling that Madonna had ALREADY use the name Ghost Town. They earn their livings off of Adam, and yet again……how could this happen?

    retjenny – I understand your worry but Madonna’s album came out in early March and Ghosttown was released as her next single on Mar 13. She has performed it live on several occasions. So it wasn’t a secret and I’m sure everybody on Adam’s team knew about it and decided it was not of concern. And you KNOW that Adam has listened to her album and knows all of the tracks and what she’s up to since he’s such a fan boy of hers!

    It is very likely that Adam had his Ghost Town recorded first. I don’t think ANYONE works on and tweeks songs longer than Adam does. Maybe Madonna just got hers out first. Thinking

    (So many sites use the word “comeback” – did TR make so little a splash?)

    His last song (from trespassing) was on the charts 3 years ago….a pretty long time in the music world. So while we know he has been doing stuff constantly, to them he’s had no music out for 3 years…

    I knew something had happened since I was on the computer yesterday afternoon, as there was thousands of tweets on the twitter feed I’d left open…..

    Like the sound of the snippet, intrigued to hear more.

    I wouldn’t worry about the same title as Madonnas track retjenny…..maybe it’ll even help being mentioned at the same time as Madonna. The only mention I’ve seen so far (and i haven’t read them all) is ‘that great minds think alike’. I have 5 songs called Runaway on my ipod, all different, all by different people….

    I cannot believe that snippet, and I was right there with Ebert with instant connotations, of Moroder, Eastwood, and even Tarrantino. A la, Love Kills.

    Adam loves American Horror Story, Halloween, and also there are so many ideas that come to mind with the word Ghost Town. Maybe it’s an emotional song about lost souls, lost fame, lost love. That would be so Adam.

    Wonder when this was filmed. He hasn’t had that much hair in a long time. Since maybe NYE or before.

    That snippet to me sounds sooo disco (called house music today). Anyone ever hear Herbie Mann’s song Hijack? Pure disco. And it’s a flute…not whistling. Flute starts at about 1:05.

    eta: that flute sound can be done on an electric piano. I believe that’s what Herbie Mann used.

    On another note, do you guys remember that hilarious Rove LA interview with Adam , that obnoxious comic ex-husband of Katy Perry’s, and that cute ditzy comedienne??

    Well, that cute ditzy comedienne is co-starring in my new favorite show, The Last Man on Earth. And she even worked in a way to wear a wedding dress in almost every episode, like she talked about in the interview. The show is quirky and quite funny, FYI.
