February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Uh-oh. Apparently, Madonna is releasing a new song with the same name from her current cd in April. How does this happen?

    I think the theme (based on her lyrics and Adam’s IG clue) are different, and probably the music also. But remember AML Lay Me Down and SS LMD? Also very different.

    I just played Madonna’s Ghostown and I like it, too. Judging form the snippet, it is unlikely that they sound at all the same.

    I think it’s ASCAP but it doesn’t matter. There are many songs with the same name.

    DJ’s don’t have any control over the play lists, so this is not going to be a problem, glambotgram. The people who matter are the programmers and they use the stats from the weekly listener surveys. The surveys clearly indicate the singer’s names.

    Listened to Madonna’s Ghosttown – pretty and introspective. Adam’s Ghost Town sounds more interesting and catchy (yes, I know, I’m making assumptions from a 15 second snippet). I think the confusion with the titles, especially with Madonna, will be a positive thing. I can see a lot of media types latching onto this as an article topic and thus giving both songs extra publicity!!

    Yes, it could be a media discussion point, which will be all to the good. (It’s possible that Madonna may be a little miffed by Adam’s teasers, since they are coming so closely on the heels of her release to radio but, I am sure she will deal. Cool ROTFL

    Whistling in music was around a couple of years ago. Remember Flo Rida’s song “Whistle”? I loved it. A little racey but a great pop song.
