February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    I’ve been watching a lot of Glee’s best songs , and watched the finale last night with a lump in my throat and dewy eyes, I know this show has gotten a bad rap lately, but it sure had some fine moments. And incredible performances. This one is a tear-jerker. And so beautifully sung, it tears my heart out. It’s from the tribute episode to Finn/Corey Monteith called “The Quarterback.” The song is To Make You Feel My Love.

    Some peeps on twitter are sad over Adam’s tweet. Is there something wrong? Are people pulling him from all sides for attention now that he’s hugely successful? His friends? Label? fans? management? organizations wanting his time & money?So many things it could be.

    Hard to say. Could be nothing.

    Hk fan when I first saw the tweet, my first reaction was that there was something wrong since that was after I said he looked so happy at the Fashion show. What happened after that?

    Anyway, I can speculate forever but until we hear or see him next there’s no way of knowing.

    I really don’t think that the quote is anything to worry about. Adam often tweets photos and quotes that he thinks are interesting or thought provoking. I am sure that he didn’t mean to get us worried. Just wanted to start a discussion. He would probably say, It ain’t that deep! And he doesn’t look as if something is bothering him too much. He has never looked better or happier. And frankly, at this point in his career, if something really was bothering him, I don’t think that he would publicise that fact. He is too smart for that.

    There has been a lot of angst in the fandom lately over tactics to get radio play for Adam. The subject of audience demographics has touched an especially sore spot. Chill people! Enjoy being a fan, enjoy the music when it comes out, support it through positive energy. Radio veteran Lisa G. offers some excellent insight and advice here:

    Simply show interest in our [your local] station. Like us on Facebook. Follow us on Twitter. Read/share content on our websites! Tell us you love our on-air personalities and bits! Show interest in other artists. Enter our contests! Come to our appearances! Support our advertisers (many of them, after all, are a part of YOUR local economy)! All we ask is that you are polite. Don’t go overboard, spam us, or tell us “you guys suck and need to play XYZ…” or, worse, “I never listen to the radio, but…” Honestly, in my opinion, I really don’t care if you’re 16 or 43, as long as you’re nice and tell me you love my station.

    Love the doll. But, that ain’t knitting. It’s crochet. See the crochet hook cleverly placed next to the doll. I crochet, and knit, as do many many folks. LOL. Except, for the vast majority of folks under 30. Most guys and gals under 30 don’t know how to hem up their pants or sew on a button or make simple repairs to clothing. Much less knit or crochet.

    It’s one of my rant subjects. I can’t stand looking at people with their hems all in tatters and stepped on because 1) they don’t know how to buy pants in the proper length, or 2) don’t know how to hem them.

    When I was a scout leader, I had all my boys learn to sew on a button and make simple stitches in things. I even had one of them ( nice boy, son of a friend ) tell me that when he started college he was able to fix a shirt to go to a frat dance!! # Proud

    He also told me that he first asked a couple of girls, but they didn’t have a clue, so he went to Walgreen’s and bought a little sewing kit and knew what to do. He didn’t want to buy a whole new shirt, which was what his friends told him to do.

    luval, exactly. I see it every single day at work. I have even offered to hem up their pants when I hear them saying something.. It’s unreal. Scrubs come in petite lengths, you don’t need to be a petite weight to be a petite size, it’s the height.

    It’s dirty and sloppy looking.

    Anyway, that crochet overlay top is gorgeous, and very metrosexual. unisex. I would sooo wear a top like that.

    I love that crochet top too. I have one. Never thought to wear black over black with that. I bought it because it was $5.00 (down from $29.95) at H & M. Have never worn it. Such a deal, though!
