Cait1602, you’ve compiled such a good song list
, and I enjoy every song on it except I don’t know the song “Last Horizon”……..I’m going to have to look that one up…….
Woops, “Last Horizon” is Brian’s instrumental – I was thinking it was an Adam song,
!

As TLKC would say, I’m a dingbat!
Angel, I loved your post at 4:30. I can understand how you feel, but, I for one, have learned that I can just go and do whatever I want, in the name of fun, music and friendship, and don’t give two hoots about who may be judging me.
I think music and art are ageless. I love Bruno Mars, so I saw him in Toronto. I beyond love Adam, and will see him anywhere anytime with anyone. I’m getting tickets to see Ed Sheeran, and will be a tad older than a lot of the crowd, however, when talking about him today at lunch, the younger people all were talking about their moms wanting to see him.
When I saw Vintage Trouble, I felt young. They skew older too. I kinda feel like reserved seating is for a certain age, and general admission is for younger ones more and more.
QAL was such a unique concert experience, so many ages, so many “types” of people, just a real mish-mosh.
There are billboards all over my town with big red lips. A Rolling Stone announcement is expected tomorrow. I have every intention of trying to get any kind of seat. No matter the cost. I’ve never seen The Stones, and this may truly be my last chance.
angel, I would see a concert with you anytime. You were such a hoot to meet in Toronto.
ok…bringing over Rogers ultimate drummer poll. Damn can’t wait until it’s over.

mils…oh my you’ve never seen the Stones! I’ve seen them half a dozen times. You will be very comfortable. Now, you are not a smoker but be prepared to smoke…if you catch my drift.
eta: They are no Queen (had to say that), but excellent. Jagger is great.
Was taping Empire to watch this weekend. Had to mute loads of people on twitter because all they do is talk about what’s happening on this show!
luval, I sooo wish I had seen the Stones when they were here last time, in 2010. Unfortunately, I used so many of my “fun” dollars on GN, I had nothing to spare! Adam took all my $$$$
Trust me, I “smoked” at plenty of concerts!! I remember once at the Moody Blues, jeez, when was that…about 1980…there was so much smoke in the arena, it was a real purple haze.
Heck, there was “smoking” at Vintage Trouble last year. And, at my beloved Summerfest, it’s one big whiff every where you go there. LOLOL
“Live and Dangerous”

Just finished watching an hour and a half of Brian May’s Band live at the Brixton Academy 1993 – had watched parts before but seeing Brian alone brings to the forefront what an incredible performer he is – beautiful and sexy as well – “Hammer to Fall” at the end is a barnburner –
Thanks, Ron, risky, TLKC and LadyNorth and everyone else here at ALL. Gave hubby your well wishes and I think he was truly touched (and a little embarassed to be the subject of my posts). Interesting article about Jax – she is already garnering the type of devoted fans that we have here (well maybe not that devoted yet but we’ve had 6 years of practice)! I’ve liked Jax from the beginning and Tyanna is very special too. Idol will be entertaining this year as long as they are on. Hope Jax gets her duet with Adam!
Sweet A.P.R. (Amazing Pop Record) Dreams, ALL!!
BTW, I’m liking our posting numbers this month – should hit 2,000 easily!
I’ve never seen the Stones either, and would love to! I think I saw teasings of the tongue in Dallas but haven’t heard anything for Houston. May have to go to Dallas if not.
Empire was so gooood! Love that show! Very well done.
I’m now watching Julie Andrews and Diane Sawyer with the story of The Sound of Music. One of my favorite movies.
Super excited for promo! I loved seeing Maxwell’s tweet but wish we had heard from some others. Maxwell is a fan DJ. Aren’t he and Adam from the same San Diego suburb?
sparkle, hubby getting better and stronger? I hope so…”Outlander” will be back on April 5th
.
I am really taken with Jax too and also like (who couldn’t) little Tyanna. I hope they hang in until the end.
Oweew, mils, wish I could go to the Stones with you. I saw them again two years ago; they are still so great and Mick and Keith made me laugh soooo much; Keith still so cool and skinny, but now with a pot belly, LOL, and Mick just never stops moving and posturing. It’s true, Rock ‘n Rollers do not get old! The crowd was a full cross-section of ages and they were all so happy to be there. Flaming tickets cost a fortune though, and that was buying direct! I hope you will get to go if they do come to your area, you wont regret it
.
angelowal, I completely understand your feelings and share them at times.
angelowal – hubby is much better and is going back to work tomorrow. Yes – you remembered about our shared love for Outlander – two excellent things coming in April!! It’s going to be a fantastic month!!

I didn’t like that BL article either, as a matter of fact I hated it. I know that it was meant to be satire, but it just seemed to be hurtful and insulting. I don’t think that from here I can do much to help Adam’s era three other than to do what I have always done, and that is to buy his music in whatever forms available to me. I downloaded Shazam last week but I couldn’t figure it out. It seemed to be listening to the music that is around me. I deleted it.
Cait, I love your song list!
Me too, Me too!!!! I love Outlander, Just finished Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. I was so excited to read it and it is soooo good, I am now wishing it was longer. LOL
Cait Great song list.
Hi rs. Shazam is confusing to me too. I brought this over from the previous page in case you missed it. Seems like a simple explanation. Still don’t get it but will check it out more when I have time.

Nice to see this. I’m currently reading the Dutch translation of “Written in My Own Heart’s Blood”. About halfway through.
Been a fan for some years already and love what they made with the series also. Although they don’t air that here in the Netherlands I’ve managed to download them and see the first half of the season already.
Isn’t Giorgio Moroder the guy involved in Love Kills? Gosh I would love Adam’s version to be on the album…or any album.
Just dreaming, really.
Yep that should be the same guy. Would love for them doing a new.ballad together!
Here is a Moroder/Adam mention from May 2014

Good to hear skaschep
I went to see the Rolling Stones at Harbourfest in HK in 2003….
a short clip below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWbbFeUUvh4
I’ve never been a fan of theirs, always found Mick Jagger to be a bit urghhh….but we didn’t get as many live acts out here back then, and my husband really wanted to go. I’m glad I went, enjoyed it, and its good to say I’ve been. Wouldn’t pay the prices they charge now to see them though.
My sister loves Outlander, too. Which do you recommend tackling first, skaschep, the books or the videos?
GLAM-MAFIA – Like the sound of that angelowal. Don’t mess with us! We are a “tough” bunch, LOL!
Moroder’s strong connection with Queen since he did the music for the 1980’s re-do of Metropolis might help, luval.
Seeing the Stones live is on my bucket list, HK fan, I never seem to get around to it. My brother has seen them enough times for the both of us. If your video is any guide, Mick is hanging in there.
Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one disturbed by that BL article. To the point that I wish I hadn’t read it. As hurtful as it is, I have the memory of Wilkes-Barre on May 25, 2012 with many of you and being in Adam’s presence after the show. He is truly thankful for all his fans, no matter their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. And standing in the second row from the stage at the D.C. club concert (thanks to our own dear ulti!) with his eyebeams directed right toward me. So I don’t believe a word of it!
a bit late but still heartfelt…
jojosie sorry to have missed your birthday…hope it was a good one. Best wished too for a great year. So glad we met in Chicago and hopefully again …soon!
cwm thoughts of both you and your mom as you go through some difficult days…bless you both.

Great pics here – seen before – but never grow old –
the Rolling Stones are opening their tour in Bethlehem PA. It’s a casino event center. Pennsylvania is a hotbed for tour openers.
He’s always a bit late with his news:
Regarding “Outlander”, TLKC, if I had the choice, I would never read a book before seeing the movie – it just sets you up for disappointment. So, if you have the chance, view the TV series, then start on the book series. Jamie Fraser is quite lovely in the books – positively, perfectly dreamy
– perhaps he’s related to you, LOL?!!!!! The actor playing him on TV is actually Scottish……..just so you know
I loved the first 4 books (could not put them down), then stopped part way through the next as I found Gabaldon had started to write too much to formula and I felt she was writing just to make money, not to express her art. Just my opinion, let me be clear. I haven’t read her most recent book, and should give it a chance before I judge.
BTW, Tlkc, I’ll go to the Stones’ concert with you if they come back to Toronto – it would be so worth it! luval too
and anyone else who’s up for it!
Lol. Yeah he is pretty late (fashionably?). Two full days later almost. It also was posted on his Facebook page today. Maybe that triggered him to tweet as well. Probably been busy.
Normally I would say read the books first, because the movie/serie is always different and you also will make your own image of the characters. But with this series they stayed pretty close to the first book so far. So whatever works best for you will be fine.
angelowal I would consider coming to Toronto to see the Stones. Actually I am toying with the idea of seeing them in Bethlehem PA. Only 3 hrs away…
eta: as mils said, it may be the last time we’ll ever get a chance to see them.
Ok, luval, now all we need to know is if Toronto is on the Stones’ tour schedule. I follow them on twitter and haven’t seen a dickie bird………Isn’t Toronto about the same distance from your home as to Bethlehem? I’ll share a hotel room with you
, and we don’t need absolutely fab seats – (maybe farther away is better, they are pretty wrinkly) – the music is what we really need to experience.

This!!
OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! My first successful blockquote in all my years on this blog! Don’t know why I wasn’t able to do it before!
lol, angelowal. Toronto is a little farther…about 4+ hours. But of course I’d go to more than one show! Been looking at google regarding the dates which were supposed to be announced today & I only see 3 so far. Bethlehem in April, Nashville & some other place. I already lost the exact dates. Apparently there’s some glitch in the ticketing process which is holding up the official release of dates.
Oh, yes you can room with me. Just not the Novotel!
Bethlehem is less than 2 hours from me. Not a big RS fan but might be tempted to go if you’re going, luval!
haha look at this picture of the eclipse, Brian & Adam
https://twitter.com/QueenieOfNorway/status/578593256554000384
Let’s keep this in mind, sparkle. I think everyone is waiting for the details.
luval, haha, I KNEW you wouldn’t want to stay at Novotel again! That’s OK with me
, and sorry about the distance estimates – I don’t drive so everything is near, far, farther and really far to me,
.
sparkle, congratulations on losing your ‘block quote’ virginity
. I didn’t realize that you lived in the East too…….that’s handy
.
Thanks for the Outlander advice, guys. I didn’t know the writer’s last name was Fraser – maybe I can get a deal on the books?
I’m in for a Stones concert if they hit Toronto again. How close is Bethlehem? A bus ride? Maybe TO Glamberts can re-create our 2010 GN Erie, Pennsylvania road trip.
