February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    sparkle, so sorry to hear of your anxious time with your hubby – episodes like that are so scary when you don’t know what’s going on……..particularly when there’s any mention of heart irregularities. I hope he recovers soon and that you can catch up with that lost sleep Heart.

    This really puts the loss in that stupid poll into perspective…hate those vote-every-hour polls with a vengeance Devil, and they keep entrapping me Hypnotized !

    nkd and angelowal – thanks so much for your care and concern. That interview really boosted my spirits in a big way – Adam was more adorable than ever – love the new look and he looks well-rested from the tour.
    angelowal – I can be supercompetitve too – don’t like to lose so I’m irritated that we lost that silly poll – Glamberts are such a powerful force!

    Something similar happened a month ago to my son-in-law, sparkle – collapsed – ambulance to the hospital – in his case it was (strangely) a massive allergy attack – can understand how frightened you must have been with your husband’s illness – hope all continues to go well –

    cwm: my thoughts with you at this very difficult time. I’m so glad you were able to have moments of clarity and good mother/daughter time on your visit.

    Sparkle, how scary for you. The flu bugs out there this year are horrid. I have seen adults from ages 20-90 who were felled and hospitalized this year. Yes, you can have an irregular heart rhythm from the simple flu.

    In general, not to get too serious or preachy here, but, because so many of us know each other in real life now, here’s some advice if somebody is “down” ( on the floor, sick )

    Immediately Call 911. Let them do the lifting. Leave the person who is on the floor, right there on the floor. Put a blanket over them to keep them warm. No need to hold somebody up in the shower or clean that person up. The chances of you or them getting hurt is high. I’ve seen it. Trust me. The paramedics/EMT’s have seen poop. They have seen puke. It’s part of the job. It’s why they exist. Nothing to be embarrassed about.

    If there is even a chance of a heart attack, just call. Do not delay by doing something else and then calling.

    I’m so glad it worked out for you Sparkle and your hubby. Such an awful and scary thing to happen, especially for your sons.

    My advice is general, not targeted at you sweetie. But it is an opportunity to help others. Please forgive me if I am overly dramatic. Sometimes it’s hard to leave my work at the hospital at the hospital.

    Speaking of my work at the hospital, here’s my Adam story for today:

    I was teaching a patient how to talk after some complicated medical procedures and experiences, she needed to learn how to achieve voice, how to talk again. Lovely lovely lady.

    She was mouthing words to me, I was lip reading, remember she has no voice. She told me I was in charge of her vocal cords. I laughed. Like I’m a Boss.

    So, I asked her who her favorite singer is.( Because I often incorporate singing and humming into learning how to voice again ).

    Here’s what she said to me, no lie:

    “Well, I used to love Tony Bennett and Perry Como and Elvis. ”

    “But”

    “I did find that guy on American Idol a few years ago quite appealing.”

    ME: “which guy from Idol was that?”

    Her: That Adam guy with the young hairdo.

    I’m just all grins. ” Oh, you mean Adam Lambert.” Her granddaughter was in the room. She’s 16. She started rolling her eyes, but, then I said, well, why yes, I do like him a lot too. And I saw him three times this past year with Queen. Then the 16 year old, looked at me and her jaw dropped.

    No lie. Her friends are addicted to Adam and Queen videos. Especially Killer Queen. When I told her that I was like 5 feet from that couch, she nearly fainted.

    Cred.

    Oh. And Grandma has a soft voice. Tomorrow, it will be stronger.

    sparkle sorry to hear about your husband’s illness and trip to the ER. do hope he is now recovering well and quickly from his ordeal ….and yours. That stomach flu bug has been going around everywhere I guess…know peeps here in NAples, Fl who’ve had it as well as my sister-in- law and her family in Connecticut!

    And mils—thanks for the pep talk for all of us about what to do in an emergency like that. You’re absolutely right!

    The 16 year old found Adam and Queen because her friend’s dad is a classic rock fan. So, one day they were looking for Killer Queen on YouTube, and, stumbled onto Adam. Needless to say, I’m sure their adolescent hormones took them down the rabbit hole…

    Does everybody here think that the “new” sound for TOH will be funk, blues, Nile and Prince influenced sounds???

    Because, I gotta tell ‘ya, I do. And I think all that “take you to glam rock church-a ” with STL is exactly where he’s going.

    I remember how he went to see Prince and just couldn’t get over it a couple of years ago. And Nile and TSP, and their love fest, and how he just gets sooooo funky with WLL, and Shady, and all that.

    If blues, funk rock is where he’s headed, holy moly, I’m all in, like never before.

    …….and thanks for the video of Joshua Ledet, he’s come a long way since Idol, I’d never have recognized him but his vocals are memorable and his shy, soft-spoken manner is still the same. I think Adam was a fan of his too, am I right?

    Thanks glambot, ulti, skaschep, mils and little dutchess – so comforting to have your wonderful support at a time like this. Hubby is almost back to normal so it’s been a speedy recovery (thanks, in no small part, to your prayers and well wishes). I love my ALL family!! mils – I left out a lot of details in my original post. My daughter called 911 immediately and we let my husband lay on the floor until he felt ready to get up. My original worry was that he might start choking on his vomit if left on his back. Looking back, the shower could have ended badly, as you said. Any way, I appreciate the advice and hope that it may help others here at ALL.

    I hope so too, I am still a little concerned about his “deep house” comment, but just a little, what will be will be. It is not really important that I personally like the album, because I know whatever it is I will like the live shows.

    I think I am more hopeful that he will have some hits and get the respect he deserves in the biz. This will make me really happy!!!
