February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    luval, I know, I wonder how many more funny interviews are out there that we never saw. I can remember so many times that we hear about something, then never get a chance to see or hear it.

    That Aussie one had me truly grinning and wondering how we had never seen it before…

    Oh ulti!! Thanks that was so wonderful! Geez, I knew so many of those, but just a few I can’t get, mainly the cartoons.

    The one that made me just gasp with joy was the Sound of Music clip. So sweet. My favorite moment from the movie.

    Now, if they had included the bottle dance from Fiddler, I would have kvelled. ( Yiddish word LOL ).

    No problem at all, asifclueless, I kind of tweeked it a bit today. But basically the same. It’s funny the things that make videos my favourites…hugs with Brian and Roger, naughty bits, unexpected notes, giggles, swan lake steps, audience…etc. Not necessarily the most perfect video.

    Nice list, cait although personally I would leave out Broken Open (never cared for the “Broken” songs)and substitute SLeepwalker. Not really a ballad but something in between ballad & rock. Maybe leave out Mad World too since I’ve heard it so many times.

    With Adam, Live is always better, well at least 99% of the time. I think the only studio version that usually beats the live version is Feelin’ Good from Idol.

    nkd I’m suspecting his Moon is in Aries (depending on the time you are born). Explains the howling at least and also connected to the next twitter message. No idea what the fire has to do with it though. If his birth time is somewhere between 9 and 11 am than he got his moon in Aries.

    Does anybody know his birth time?

    Did a bit of research again when I saw his tweets. Was quite into Astrology during my University time, but forgot most about it again. Although I still remembered my moon is in Aries.

    skaschep, don’t know anything about astrology but I seem to remember Adam saying that his moon was rising in Libra and I only remember that because I’m a Libra………

    I know that everyone has their own taste in music and their favorite Adam songs, but it always surprises me when people say that they don’t connect to Broken Open. I love it on so many levels. It was one of the few that Adam wrote for FYE and he has said how personal it is for him. I love the lyrics for what they say about him, and it has a very personal meaning to me because of some things that happened in my life while I was listening to the album. And the melody is so haunting and beautiful. I know that the electronics on the album can be off-putting, but I think that they were put there to counteract the enormous intensity of the song itself.     Sorry glambotgram. Did the research a few hours ago already.

    Thanks angelowal. From that page it is confirmed that his Moon is in Aries (apparently the Moon was in Aries almost the entire day). Rising for him is Libra (Ascendant). This last sign is the sign that is just above the horizon at the place of your birth, on the time of your birth (mine is Pisces for instance).

    ETA: Found the probable meaning of the fire as well: Aries is a fire sign.
    And also:

    Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and marks the beginning of a new cycle. In this sense, Aries symbolises the first testing of strength and new beginnings in general. It looks towards the future without regarding the past.

    He certainly thinks about this stuff with his new single out in April. I bet it will be out before the 20th of April then, because that’s when the period of Aries ends.

    lol, rs. Don’t know why it doesn’t connect one bit. But this is coming from someone who thinks American Gigolo is just a great movie! ROTFL Wink

    By the way, I used to do astrology charts years ago. I have no interest in it now. Just don’t believe anything about it. Signs are all the same to me. Most people have some characteristics of every sign. Just my opinion, of course.

    It’s ok glambotgram. There aren’t that much people who are interested in Astrology nowadays I guess. I’m pretty much interested in all sorts of stuff so ask if you want to know anything. I’m very impressed with all the knowledge you guys have about Adam so I’m learning from you about that a lot and I appreciate that a lot. Thanks.

    Interesting detail I just found out by the way:
    On the 20th of March from about 4 pm in Los Angeles both the Sun and the (New) Moon will be in Aries. This position will remain so on the whole day after until about 3 am on the 23rd of March.

    If these tweets are something of a clue about his single release it could be that something will happen at the end of this week already.

    Before this position happens there will be a solar eclipse over the Atlantic and part of Europe, but I don’t think that has anything to do with his clues.

    I guess I’m a purist when it comes to Adam’s voice, I just didn’t care for Broken Open on the record, or Aftermath, or CLYG, because of all the electronica washing out his voice. I also love it live, because the voice comes through much cleaner.

    The recording of Feeling Good is so unbelievable because it is like a master class in vocals. It’s one of his best ever, IMHO.
