Wow, just listened to Broken English, Underneath and Chokehold for the first time in a while, concentrating on just those three. Underneath had me in tears again. That hasn’t happened in a while.

I am planning to make the similar list. I’d like to have two lists, one with vids taken close to see Adam in action and another one to see the whole show, lights etc. For me good sound quality is important. But the truth is there are so many great vids of even the same performance at same venue (different angle etc.) that choosing one is veeery difficult!

BTW, my #1 son is in Oz presently, but just spent a few days in Wellington, NZ. to meet his new co-workers. He’ll be moving from Toronto to Canberra this summer, and was so impressed with how nice, hospitable and friendly were all the people he met in NZ. He noticed in particular that there were a lot of ‘gingers’ there, so he felt right at home……..must be lots of those expat Scots populating that gorgeous country.
Kiwi– Thanks so much for your Best of QAL list. I was off from work today and it made for a very entertaining day. Lady North and Cait, I’m also looking forward to seeing your lists. I know it’s a lot of work but it’s definitely a labor of love and is much appreciated by all of us here.
I was traveling in Thailand for 18 days in the middle of the tour and missed a lot of shows. Between ogling Adam’s gym pictures and catching up on all the concert videos, I’ll have plenty to keep me busy until Era 3 begins.
Good to hear angelowal. I know Canberra well. My older brother had a government job and lived there. I think Kiwis and Aussies on the whole are pretty laid back. Many would say too much so at times!! My best friend (a red-head)is from Invercargill (deep south of the South Island). That’s where most scots settled. They still roll their rrrrs down there. My Mum was also a ‘ginga’

nkd, of all the “one-off’s” I wasn’t at, Napa is at the top of a short list. Those Chokehold and Shady renditions are sublimely sexy.
I think, by, R & B, he most definitely means like Shady, Chokehold, Fever, Dragon Attack, and Red House. Even, Fantasy Springs WLL, from so many years ago. You could add Voodoo, and even Sleepwalker to the list. I also think that the fan response to Runnin’ was not unnoticed.
I do believe he pays attention to what makes his fans go nuts with passion.
I just hope and pray for no rap inserted into his songs. I absolutely abhor that. And, no, it’s not like, “oh look there’s peanut butter in my chocolate.” I actually like that, it’s yummy.
It’s more like, ” oh ,damn, there’s a pile of
on my walk in the park.” I need to skip over it, avoid it and never look at it again.”
So, if there is rap, or, God forbid, Iggy Azalea, inserted into an Adam song. Count me out.

He thinks she has a disease or something. I just laughed and told him she is the flavor of the month. He is appalled at the current state of music. I just told him that many many agree with him.
