February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    For the hell of it I was looking up information on Rio. Soooo confusing. Can’t even figure out where the stadium is other than it’s in Rio. Grin

    What made me think about it was looking at the “upcoming shows/events” on top right of this page. Remember when it was long list? Sad. Nothing until September. Album, of course but…….Time flies by too fast.

    Hey luval! It seems that it’s only 37 minutes from the Rio airport to the “Cidade do Rock” site for the Rock in Rio 2015.

    luval no stadium for RIR, it happens in the City of Rock, which it´s a place that was build specially for Rock in Rio. Now it hosts other events. You can find information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_Rock

    It´s a bit far from most known places of Rio like Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana but for the RIR there are special buses that are put on service to take you there, leaving from different locations ! You won´t get lost! Smile

    A year ago today we were frantically buying tickets and plane tickets and making hotel plans for QAL!!

    Seems like yesterday. Gah! What a morning that was!! Two different phones and so many tabs going on my computer!!

    Thanks, renataademelo. That wiki page says City of Rock is in Barra da Tijuca. Hotels there right now are pretty reasonable.

    What am I doing? I’m not going. Don’t care for festivals.

    Mils, I remember that frantic atmosphere. I might take a look back at the thread for March 2014. I knew I was going to the first show no matter what. Probably gonna make me chuckle in parts.

    luval, I may do the same. I can’t even remember if I posted that day. I remember talking to you several times and Ron. I also knew I was going to Chicago for sure, and did Toronto on a whim that morning, then fit in the pieces. I had to literally walk away from my computer or I would have busted my bank and added Detroit too. In hindsight, I should have. I considered doing a rented car road trip from Detroit to Toronto, but decided against it.

    It turned out great, I added Toronto 2 as soon as I got home from Toronto 1, and have no regrets at all about going back to Toronto.

    What I should have really done was add Madison Square Garden and Philly to my shows and trips.

    But, I saw 3 shows, and enjoyed so much online. This had to have been the most glorious summer and year of music in my life. Even after Glamnation and WAG, and everything in between.

    I don’t know what came over me. I read Badass’ newest post, and looked up Soaked, which I hadn’t listened to in well over a year, or more, because she referenced it in a response to a comment on her blog, and one link led to another, and back to the final GN show in LA and WLL and PH.

    Geez, covered in glitter, so much hair, so much jewelry, his shirt in tatters, about half a song from his zipper being completely down and his pants exploding, and just wailing wailing wailing. So young, so talented, the audience whipped into a frenzy.

    It just got better & better every year & ERA. I think we just got more experienced in every aspect of ticket buying, planes, trains, cars, hotels, etc.etc. And of course Adam’s career just sky rocketed with the brilliant Queen tour. Maybe they’ll do other one-offs. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hope it continues with TOH.

    Do you believe Adam thinks this look as a “what was I thinking?” look? I don’t. I believe he loved it and loves it now. If he could do again he would. (I loved it!)

    I don’t think he has any regrets about his look on Glamnation. He was hot, sexy, gorgeous and got every drip of glitter out of his system. He lived so many Velvet Goldmine moments , costumes and moves on tour. It was like his fantasy come true tour. He built a loyal fanbase, and was the only Idol to tour solo successfully.

    Nope. No regrets.

    What a week!!! Can’t remember something like this even with Glam Nation. Sweating, hand wringing, freaking out, no sleep,cramped fingers, money flying all over, Adam…what have you done to us?!

    I went back to last March 10th and just laughed at the memories of how hard we all worked to get our QAL tickets and started making plans, figuring out who was coming to which shows…I simply cannot wait to do this all again for shows of the future, with or without Queen.

    I hope I didn’t leave out any songs!!
    My choices may not be everyone’s as I like videos from a little further back to get better audio and see the whole band on stage. (Though generous Adam close-ups are always appreciated)
    I’m more than happy to be disagreed with on my choices.
