February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Since I didn’t really know what to do tonight I went back to the 30th of January and I am now watching the multicam from Amsterdam. Beautiful video’s there.

    One in particular I want to share with you as well. It’s the video from “Love of my life”. Brian was sick then and it seems to me he couldn’t sing very well, but he hardly had to because the audience was singing so loudly with him. Tears in my eyes again and wonderful to have been a part of this.

    I just finally saw “Bridegroom”. It was on TV here, on the documentary channel. I am sure that I remembered that he donated Outlaws of Love to be used in the movie but I didn’t hear it. I thought it would be at the end, but they played Macklemore’s Same Love. Does anyone remember hearing Adam’s song in the movie? It was so good, but so sad, I don’t think I could sit through it again just looking for Adam’s voice to appear.

    Thank you asif for posting badassalterego’s blog, I enjoyed the first part very much and I am so glad she has done more. I love the way she writes.

    asif– Thanks for the shirt recommendation. If I’m ever in the spray zone again, I’ll bring one along to put on after the fact. Thanks also for the badassalterego blog link. It’s very interesting to hear her impressions of QAL from the point of view of a Queen fan and a trained singer. The only comment that I take issue with is her statement that Adam and Freddie are equally attractive. That’s like equating a sex god with a turnip. If anyone doesn’t know which is which, perhaps glambot or mils will explain for me. Smile

    lol mmm222.….I’ve been loving the badassalterego blog too….but I definitely had a WTF moment when I read that!!! I never found Freddie attractive when I was young, and now looking back I find him even less so. Each to their own I suppose..

    I never found Freddie attractive. I found him energizing, magnetic, charismatic, charming, silly, full of swagger, and enormously talented.

    Adam? Good gawd. I haven’t been able to peel my eyeballs off of him since the first second he popped out of my TV and into my lap.

    I don’t care who he sleeps with. I don’t care if he’s my age. I don’t care if he doesn’t find women attractive. I don’t care about any of that. I just don’t.

    I do care that he not only has the best voice I’ve ever heard and may ever hear. I do care that that talent comes in a package that is sooooo extraordinary to gaze upon that I literally do find myself out of breath and gasping for air at times.

    I do care that both men and women find him so sexually charged that they are just speechless.

    I do care that when I saw him with QAL, that big burly macho straight guys who were there to see Brian and Roger and some “new guy” were left screaming and exclaiming that he was out of this world talented.

    I do care that when I was at Toronto 1, standing with and leaning on rs and the barricade that we saw Adam so close, that we could see every freckle on his fingers, and feel the energy that came oozing out of every pore of his essence.

    Truly, guys, the aura of energy coming off him was palpable. He was so incredibly engaged so into his performance, it was like a wave of light and energy was being emitted. I’ve never before or since felt anything like it. I’ve been super up close to him before, but the energy at Toronto was unique to me. I swear, I can close my eyes and still feel it.

    So, if Freddie had this too, and I believe he did, this is the reason why his fans are so rabid. I get it. I just honestly believe that Adam has it too. I think there is room for both in the fandoms. I genuinely believe, as do most of us here, I would dare to say, that Adam is on his way to being iconic, just like Paula said so many years ago.

    I hope beyond hope that Queen puts out a DVD, an HBO special, and an IMAX of this tour. I hope they get nominated for a Grammy, Emmy and an Oscar. And win. That way, all Adam would need would be a Tony to be an EGOT.

    She’s such a Glambert. We need to find a way to get her here. She really seems like one of us.

    Sweet Sparkly Snow Dreams, ALL!!
    We nearly got a foot of snow here in Central PA. Cleaning off my car this morning, I was struck with how beautiful and sparkly it was! Oh and had to laugh when after practice my daughter’s coach said she doesn’t sweat, she glistens. My daughter’s response – “No, I sparkle!” Had to keep from laughing out loud!!

    Morning! Thank you for sharing the badassalterego blogs. It is always confirming to read a professional’s analysis of our boy. Love her view point and writing style. Beautiful image of Adam growing in confidence with the strong shoulders of Roger and Brian underneath him.

    I love when Adam lets his goofball side out. I laugh every time I watch the closeup of his distorted face and voice.

    I was able to load Shazam but it isn’t the most intuitive thing to me. But then again I have never found Facebook user friendly either and nkd had to teach me how to DL on Tweeter.

    I also see a huge similarity in the costume designs. Maybe we should just accept it for what it is: BK’s stylist is obviously a huge fan of Adam’s style and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery Grin .

    As Adam fans, we KNOW that only Adam can really pull off his style; after all it takes a real man to fill his shoes and pants ROTFL, and only Adam’s sense of camp and inimitable goofiness can make those stage costumes larger than life Cool .

    rs I just know her online, from different places since this UK/European leg of tour. So many new QAL fans have joined groups, twitter etc. lately, after witnessing that wonderful co-operation live and or on streams! I guess many of them will stay around waiting for era3…

    cait, there are cray fans who have hated on Tommy Joe or feel cray love for him, for various reasons, some feel that he “belongs” with Adam, some feel that he broke up Sauli and Adam, some feel that He and TJR are really lovers, some write fan fic about TJR and Adam, some believe he’s not straight. And some go on and on about his gigging with Monte, even after what Monte “did” to Adam.

    As for us here, at our lovely blog, and I don’t mean to put words in people’s mouths, but we don’t dwell here on any TJR fan fic, cray, or relationship BS. We just talk about their friendship and whether he has grown or not as a guitarist.

    Not sure what the motivation was for that post, I saw it this morning, but some of those names are very familiar in the Adam fan world.

    If I’ve said anything erroneous, please correct me guys.

    Now, for another thought.

    Tomatoes thrown at me will simply be made into salsa. Add an avocado, and we’ve got guacamole.

    I just simply don’t know how I will be able to see Adam perform live with less talented musicians than Brian and Roger and Spike and Neil and Rufus. Their level of musicianship is so high, and Adam’s prior band members are just not up to the level of what Adam has become accustomed to.

    Don’t get me wrong, TJR is truly talented, Monte was a great guitarist, but, for keys and drums, Adam has suffered badly. Oh, Cam was very good, Isaac the best drummer, but, and I do mean but, nobody is the caliber of Brian and Roger.

    IMHO.

    I sincerely hope that Adam puts a new band together. And in no way shape or form has any ladies like last era backing him up. I never liked their sound and never liked their look. *** ducking tomatoes***.

    Terrance can dance next to Adam for the rest of his career. Love him. Love Sasha and Brooke too.

    But, that sway back, neck in the wrong direction dude ( gawd, what was his name?? Bad fan )) needs to stay off Adam’s stage. Again, IMHO.
