The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

lol, tlkc…I am wondering if we will see “theme-ish” outfits at the Queen/AL shows sprinkled here and there. If you remember there were quite a few black/yellow bumblebee-ish outfits during the Trespassing one-offs and of course top hats, etc for GN.
Should we be a little worried about looking outlandish and be the object of derision for Queen fans? That bumblebee photo of the adorable children reminded me of some truly cringeworthy attire on the Trespassing non-tour.
I kinda hate to confirm the stereotype when we are at a venue not exclusively our own. Would be nice to become one community for the concert.

Good point Krad. I recall Adam pointing it out (the bumble bee thing) at the Del Mar concert last year, in a way that to me was as though he was annoyed or maybe dismayed by it. I think regular concert attire would do fine. Just my two cents.

Reese, I remember that. “Dismayed” seemed the better word, and a bit nonplussed.
I love the idea of bracelets or something similar by which to identify each other, but I think it would be great for Adam to look out into the crowd and see a sea of fans for Queenbert, rather than a sea of fans for Queen and a separate fandom for Adam.
Having said that, I really love Ron’s and luval’s finds!
I just looked at the spreadsheet that Ron posted…if NJ and CT are real, they are working back to NY after DC. With MSG sold out, and on the first day (according to chart), does anyone else think that they might be thinking about a second MSG gig becoming the final concert of the tour? Gotta say that would be a cool place to end. Merriweather, as much as I love it, seemed a rather anticlimactic end to the tour.

I do think that subtlety suits me best and Trespassing black/yellow is kind of yesterday’s news. The black and white wristbands will be enough for me to show solidarity with the Glamberts and the Queenberts and QFC.

Was also thinking about a final MSG concert too, kradamour. I checked MSG’s schedule and I do not see any event between July 18th and July 28th. If the current last concert is now Mohegan Sun on the 25th (if rumors are true), that leaves 7/26, 7/27, or 7/28 available for one more show.
And IMO let anyone wear whatever they want, silly or not! I think it’s a hoot to see what peeps come up with although I have a feeling this will be very casual jeans & tee crowd.

Don’t forget that angelowal is working on a glow band bracelet similar to the one we wore to the UK concerts. Paulanation actually showed one of the originals to Adam and he loved it – he asked for one before she could give it to him.
They are understated but identifiable. We are going to the first concert in Chicago so we can disperse them to all the attendees going there.
I love Toronto, Ron. I was there for a wonderful week in 1980 and I have wanted since then to return. I remember it as a beautiful and gracious city, and it would be a very great pleasure to return to share a
