The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

I just came home while ago from Finnberts’ anniversary meeting of WAG/ Helsinki. Luckily it was in my home town this time, so I could participate. It was a fun evening, we had a cabinet in a restaurant, had dinner & drinks and watched concert vids on the big screen
Not a big group, but half of the participants are going to see Queenbert in US, mostly NYC. I’m going slightly mad…

Right at the beginning of the Brian May documentary they discuss Brian’s hair. Even his wife says that is his hair whether you like it or not. He is noted for his hair. So true…he doesn’t blend into every other chap out there.

Has anyone watched The Voice UK? That Kylie Minogue as a judge is very appealing.Much more real seeming than JLo. There was a performance this week by Sally Barker that I thought was great. I believe she’s 29 like all of us and probably not a contender,but I think her rendition of Walk On By should be shown to the current Idol crop as an example of how to connect with and interpret a song.

Well, the boy’s gonna do what the boy wants to do. The current style has received good reviews from lots of people – men, too, I’ve noticed – so it has its good points. And, yes, he probably looks younger without the facial hair, but he has more “gravitas” with it – less boyish – fiercer. Rather like it, actually.

yep, we get in the day after the US…..was watching with my boys. I will admit that I had had a sneek peak on the recaps (I know, I know…just can’t wait though). I didn’t tell the boys what was coming, and they were pretty schocked……It was a great episode. This season has been really strong.
Here’s another one hoping for a warm towel, clean shave at the barbers rather than a haircut luvsl!! although I have grown to really like the facial hair, I want clean shaven Adam back, at least for a while.

Thanks TLKC for posting that picture of young Sauli. I’ve been looking at it for a few days wishing I knew how to bring it here. I also thought when Adam was in Sweden and Sauli right next door in Finland if they wouldn’t meet up. I’m sure they don’t want to be photographed together cause then the fandom would really explode. Sauli has a birthday later this week so maybe they’ll celebrate that.

I might be in DC this summer. It’s still too far ahead. My best friend is looking for a place to move in and I volunteer to help her move. She wants to move out from Alexandria to Arlington.

RE: Adam and Sauli – sounds like a “we’re both in the neighbourhood so let’s get together” sort of thing. Glad to see the friendship holds. Class act, these two. Not holding my breath on a reprise of 2011-12 but as mils says, could be a bit of what-the-hell.
I don’t want to shock anyone but I’ve been giving some thought about what to wear to the concert.
Gotta be quick about this because there are only 112 days to go before Toronto!!
I’ve decided to go with a much more conservative than usual look because I think that this will largely be a jeans and T-shirt kind of crowd.
I’d like to feel a little bit dressier than that though yet still blend in with everyone else and not be too conspicuous.

I see the Duke in royal blue (kind of electric blue). RiskyHubby needs a risky colour: hot pink! Since jlurksacto is from California – a cool colour – turquoise/Pacific blue.
P is a bit more laid back so perhaps something a little more organic: green. Perhaps charteuse, with it’s monastic connotations would work.

sistasif, you might think about lawn tickets for DC/Merriweather. Assuming that it doesn’t rain, the lawn is actually my favorite seating there; you are allowed to bring a picnic, and the lawn is sloped to permit good viewing.
