The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!

With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

    My friends and I have been through a lot together, including a years-long historic preservation battle. A turnaround for an almost defunct Alliance Française chapter. An effort to move to an elected school board. As well as personal and family crises. All serious and important things…
    I am respected and well-known in the community, but this little part of me was just waved off as nonsense, not worthy of me, and after a very short time I just tucked away my Adam fandom as something shameful. When I went to a concert, I usually made up another reason for the travel. Or I said where I was going but was met with bemused silence and the subject was quickly changed.
    This was HUGE for me!

    I never thought he was very sexy though. But, man, can he play and sing and perform.

    Same here mils. Prince’s music is sexy with that funky groove. That’s the part I would love Adam to be channeling from Prince.
    Funky blues rock with Adam’s sexy voice! He could kill me with that!

    I went on a little Prince listening spree this afternoon while driving. Love it!

    ETA Assless pants wouldn’t hurt either! Wink

    I saw that but couldn’t find any twitter talk about it. (If something happens and it’s not on twitter…..?)

    The article was dated yesterday and nary hoot was given online in the last 24 hours. Maybe people are holding back because of what happened with New Jersey.

    It looks as though Mohegan will be July 25th. IF it’s happening.

I sometimes feel guilty about the amount of time I spend watching videos and stanning, even though I don’t post a lot here, it does take up time I feel I should be spending on my family. I justify it with the fact that I take very little, if any,time out for myself, it’s always about our business or the kids.
    But how lovely it would be if one morning at the bus stop another mom would say “so’ I hear you are an AFL fan”!!
    I wish there was a”like button”, because I loved your story.

    Brian and Roger toured for 65 concerts over two years with Paul Rodgers, taking lots of breaks to tend to their respective businesses. I can’t see a repeat of that many concerts but perhaps a 10-day mid-winter tour of Asia and similarly-sized foray into Germany and UK cities at a later date, isn’t out of the question. As long as it doesn’t get in the way of his own cd and gives him $100,000 per concert. Laugh But it would be best to have no distractions once the next cd gets going.

    OTOH, the “funny moment” YouTube video that ulti posted at 11:47, contained many comments by Adam about touring and maximizing the Trespassing cd over 2-3 years. Obviously, a great cd doesn’t always take and then it’s back to the drawing board. Nice to know that Queen and Glee are in his back pocket for 2015, if needed.

    If MM is behind Adam and he is on Queen’s UMG label, there is genuine support there.

    I have been looking for the video, of Adam trying walk, with the sole of his boot, that came apart, & also making it talk. Anyone?

    The strangest thing, is now that I am going to see Queen + Adam, some of my friends are all of a sudden intrigued, and want to know more about him. I said, “Well, you’ll have to play catch up, because there is brilliant stuff to see!”
