The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!

With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

    I knew nearly all the later songs on that best of Max Martin video…..but didn’t really know any of the Backstreet Boys and N sync ones….never really knew either of those 2 bands. Was a Boyzone and Westlife fan though!

    And urgh to Prince…..I actually don’t really know much of his music, I always found him so creepy and unattractive that I couldn’t listen to anything. So don’t really want Adam channeling him or his music…

    Just FYI, Got a reply today from the organizers of a huge outdoor music festival (which I had contacted) in the South today telling me that they had indeed tried to get Queen and Adam to play at the venue, but the initial fee was half a million dollars. Still they thought about booking them until the scheduling did not work out. Frown

    I love the idea of a royal motif for Queenbert. How many times has Adam referred to them as Rock Royalty?! and has even bowed at them.
    And purple is so much more flattering than bumblebees.

    Still shocked and amazed and delighted by the call from my friend wondering if I was interested and wanting to go to Queenbert with me. I have NEVER been aught but scorned for my stanning of Adam. (shakes head)
    Five years of puzzlement and reserve from all my friends. Bemusement when I went to a concert.
    And then suddenly my good friend out of the blue asks if I am still interested in Adam. She read in the paper a couple of weeks ago that he was touring with Queen. It has been percolating, she thought that yes, she had kinda liked Adam on Idol, she loved Queen back in the day, maybe it would be cool to go to the concert.

    So, lots to catch up on but to recap, Adam just happens to mention to some random guy at a bar that he is working with Max, and that guy posts about it. Tove Lo “randomly” brings up Adam in an article leaving clues about a new album. Nile “forgets” he is using twitter instead of DM to tell about a song title. (Not to mention the first tease about the song with Avicii. Who knows if they are the same.) Then, Billboard just happens to get an “exclusive.” Right. Not planned at all. LOL!

    He has an amazing strategic team. Feel like he may push something to radio before the tour.

    Yes, aely…especially since Adam and all his peeps have been almost spookily silent about all things related to this album ever since the beginning and have insisted that NOTHING would be revealed in advance, and all of a sudden somehow peeps become loose-lipped and careless?

    Your first post about this Kradamour was very nice and, reading it, I was happy for you.

    I now realize that this is a very significant moment for you.

    Your friend validated your feelings about Adam, after all this time, and that has to feel special and mean a lot to you.

    Adam loooooves a blues/funk/rock vibe.

    Red House. Dragon Attack. Shady. Voodoo. Purple Haze. WLL.

    He saw Prince live. Twice that we know of, recently. He loves Zep. Loves loves loves Zep. Loves Kravitz.

    Got his nose pierced after meeting him. LOL.

    And. Fantasy Springs WLL was pure blues. Oozing sex.

    If Adam produced his own bluesy/funky/rock album….I don’t think I could ever leave my house….melt into floor…become one with the carpet…….

    I’m a big fan of Prince, ever since my baby brother discovered him in the late 70’s/very early 80’s. I still listen to Purple Rain. I have the movie on my DVR and walk my treadmill to the final concert at the end. Love. It. Still.

    I never thought he was very sexy though. But, man, can he play and sing and perform.

    During his concerts last year he brought out guest stars, such as CeeLo, in each city to wail with him. They did Crazy together, it was unreal. Soooo good. It’s all on You Tube.

    Wonder if Queen + Adam will do some of that in certain cities, like LA or NY, even Chicago.

    Wonder if Adam would bring out Ty Taylor?
