The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

Oh, what the hell, she was going on and on, we talked Glee, she loves classic rock, loves Idol, likes all the same Idols I do, digs guys in eyeliner that sing, and loves a good voice.
And she is young. Love it.
The best part is how she talked about how his voice makes her head go places.
I really think she has that same visceral, chemical reaction we have talked about here so many times.
So excited to meet AL, and Mieps. I am thrilled & so thankful!
I have a once in a life time experience ahead, and I am getting all my ducks in a row. so to speak.

Okay, I’ll start…hmmm…maybe he was born in ’83, based on his FB name. That would make him 31, just about Adam’s age.
Looks like he is somehow involved with a nightclub that just opened, Club Q (for quality). He has lots of friends of both genders. He is very fit! (see beach photos, and he ‘liked’ Herbalife). He speaks English and tagalog, and is a member of the Swedish Filipino Network organization. HIs natural hair color is dark, but he dyes it blonde. (Adam will be able to relate in reverse!) Lives in Stockholm where he is a marketing project administrator (new job this year) for a new company that employs Asians (specifically) for cleaning of homes and businesses, with incidental bookkeeping support for employers. He plays Candy Crush and Zynga Poker.
Music likes include Adam, Adele, Whitney Houston, Cherie Cherokee, Sep…TV show likes include Simpsons and Sex and the City.
He is the only member (presumably he is the founder…) of a FB group called B.B.B. Blue Bootilicious Bitches that was started in 2008. The photo with Adam is the only one on that FB page, since it is Chris’ profile picture and Chris is the only member. Wonder if either of them know it is there. Probably not.
Okay, I tentatively like him. Adam can continue this if he wants to.

That was really interesting!
I really loved some of those songs…but…um…(ducks a little bit)…there is a lot of sameness, and a lot of fuzziness, and the voices are not front and center.
I really, really hope that Adam is treated better.
His recorded music so far has been heavy on production and light on the unbelievable voice.
The Adam music that I listen to is from his live performances, not the CDs.
Only IMHO, of course, and there is decidedly something to be said for selling millions of copies of a tune whether or not it shows off your instrument to the best effect.
Withya, Krad – tend to play his live performances more than his albums – but, you’re right – gotta get a hit out there first.

I took MIL for an appointment this morning and turned on the 60’s station, she tends to tap her hands and hum along to it, and The Happening came on. I don’t ever remember hearing that song in my life until it came up on Glee. Strange.
I would die happy if I ever saw Adam perform Prince’s “Cream” live…I might even die at that very moment…
