The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

Look at how Adam signed a classmate’s yearbook in High School. How can a kid that age be so perceptive, sensitive and kind? It is why we love the person, not just the Voice.

Hi guys! Had a great moment last night. Went to the theatre with a friend and at the end of dinner she said to me “So Adam Lambert sold out!” I almost fell off my chair. I asked he how she knew and she said that she had seen it on TV. (She likes Adam but AI8 is the extent of her appreciation and she obviously knows that I’m a fan.)
She said “How amazing is that? This guy who came second and only has one hit to his name is now fronting for Queen and he’s on Glee”.
She sees it as a Cinderella story like Idol. I think this may be the story behind the super-quick sell-out. Idol 8 had a huge audience. More than 30 million watched the finale. They didn’t forget Adam; he simply slipped off their radar. Now that he’s in front of them again, they are responding with the same enthusiasm they had the first time around. Wonderful!

Anyone who’s familiar with NYC know of some good places to stay for a couple nights close to MSG? Anything else exciting to do in that area of the city?

Friends from Toronto are staying at the nearby Holiday Inn.

BTW, I’ll just mention that all of the 262 rooms at the Novotel Hotel in Toronto, where some of you are staying, are fully booked for the July 12th weekend! SOLD OUT!

Sorry, but I have to comment on that handwriting test. Those other tests that we did were obviously just for fun, as krad said, “toys”, but handwriting analysis is considered a serious test. While in the past I have had my own criticisms of the it’s use as a tool for personality analysis, since it is based on only one function, it is very complex and takes into consideration a large number of factors, not just size and direction. Even if the results look spot on, please don’t think that this is real handwriting analysis.
Forgive the serious note, but it I couldn’t help it.

I’m impressed with the service from TicketMaster. Unlike the first seat that I bought and printed the ticket out for myself, I opted for them to mail this second purchase to me.
A nice, old-fashioned, good ol’ cardboard ticket.
It was delivered today.
Far cry from the Ste.-Agathe tickets. Everyone kept posting when their tickets arrived … “Got mine”, “Tickets in my mailbox today” … and I waited and waited – and waited.
That ticket was sitting on my nightstand when I got home because it was finally delivered the day after I left.
That wasn’t TicketMaster though. It was from whatever organization put that first-time (and last) Fair together.

I went to the dentist this morning. My hygienist, who is waaaay to cute to be a hygienist, whatever that means, she rocks, asked me what’s new in my musical obsession.
I told her I’m seeing Queen in Chicago. She knew that Adam was fronting. So, we talked calmly for a bit, and when going out to the receptionist desk, she told the very cute, very young ( 26 ) gal at the desk that I had tickets to see Queen in Chicago.
Not gonna exaggerate here.
She jumped up and screamed!

She kinda already follows him online, but not the right way, LOL. She thinksk he is the most gorgeous talented sexy man ever. She literally said that his voice makes her SWOON.
Now, my hygienist watched him on TV in the IHeart special. But, we all know they didn’t air WWTLF. I directed them both to the fiercealien video. I wrote down a few other choice tidbits, Red House, Stay, and Fantasy Springs WLL. She was at the Riverside for GN in Milwaukee.
I have to go back in a couple of weeks, need some work done, dammit, but, I look forward to bringing her a DVD of Kiev and maybe another.
Here’s the clincher, I called her a total Glambert, she blushed. BLUSHED. Then, she told me her husband will be jealous, because she knows she’ll be watching him for at least 2 or three hours.
