The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Calgary, it seems that some shows now have the interactive seating charts. I just checked the Calgary and Vancouver ticket sites and only Vancouver has the “Choose your own seats” option now.

Bringing this post over from the planning thread cos I think it is of general interest:
Just checked the Merriweather site…there are no longer two seats together at any price point, only singles.
Stubhub only has very mediocre seats, and not many, in light of the size of the venue (other than lawn seats, only a couple of hundred in a venue of 19K). Ditto for vividseats and other resale sites I checked.
Merriweather was the only venue that used ticketfly for ticketing. Makes me wonder if the scalpers have more trouble getting seats from ticketfly than from ticketb*stard.
And if so, what they do differently and why TMaster, with all its protestations of doing all that it can to discourage scalpers, doesn’t take a page from Ticketfly.

I went to a St Patricks day Ball on saturday, it was great, watched some Irish Dancing, and they had an Irish comedian and an Irish band. Black tie do, so nice to dress up, and the food was good too…

Kradamour I don’t know, I personally had way more trouble trying to find seats.on ticketfly site.

Krads- I suspect that the scalpers prefer Ticketmaster over Ticketfly because the Ticketmaster site is so much more user friendly. When the presale started last Monday at 10 AM, adamized, nkd and I were on a three way call. Each of us was buying multiple tickets for a different concert. Adamized had the misfortune to be the buyer for the Maryland concert on Ticketfly. The site was cumbersome and difficult. I bought my 7 MSG tickets from Ticketmaster in 3 groupings in the time it took her to get 2 tickets from Ticketfly. Between the 3 of us, we were able to get the 7 tickets we needed for Maryland by 11 AM, but it was painful. In other words, it’s probably not worth the money for the scalpers to deal with Ticketfly. Is that good or bad? I’m not sure, but I’d much rather buy from Ticketmaster if I can get a ticket from them on the primary market.
Wow, it was pretty stressful for me too to get tickets. I don’t have a lot of experience with that. My options were Philly or MSG since my family all lives in Allentown PA area and both these venues are about the same distance from there. I’ve never been to a concert at MSG so I set my sights on there. long story short I ended up with tickets on the floor.I can only go to one concert so hAd to bite the bullet! SO sure it will be worth it! Queenbert at the Garden, I’m so excited, should be awesome.
