The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

I received a queenonline password last night and a fan club password at 5:15 am this morning. The password is the same for both. angelowal and I are going to be on the phone at 9:50 a.m. We are purchasing Chicago for the Toronto group first then Madison Square Gardens.
The messaging we are getting is conflicting on Toronto. All fan club stuff is saying Tuesday but Ticketmaster Canada is saying today.
Lots to juggle. We may go with Stub Hub for Toronto because we want to get good seats but Toronto may be the hardest tickets to get. Q+PR sold out the ACC half shell (over 11,000) in 2006 and the full arena is only 15,000+. Since then, WWRY has played for a whole year at the Pantages here. IMHO, people who will pay $90 to see other people sing Queen are certainly up for seeing Brian and Roger sing them with a great frontman. DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
Guys – interesting thing, on my email anyway – the links for New York and Chicago have to be copied and entered into your browser. The rest are in blue and require a simple click.

NOTE TO CANADIAN FANS: if you are buying US venues this morning you will be accessing links in your email that take you to Ticketmaster.com – as Canadians you are registered under Ticketmaster.ca
Open your Ticketmaster account and access the events through that. This will avoid your getting a “wrong domain” message at a crucial point in the purchase.
This is important because most of us will be buying US only today. American fans will click on the US link and be in the correct link from the get-go.

rs, what kind of tickets are you hungry for? Is it VIP, because you can’t order them yourself? I did some searching, and there was a note that only peeps from US and Canada can get VIPs and they are not changeable… I even renewed my Fan club membership and got myself ticketmaster account, even though I am not hunting for tix atm!
Does anyone know, are the floor tickets for the arenas seats or standing? In Europe they are always standing for rock/pop, but they might be seats in US/Canada?

Oh dear, Even though I can’t buy tickets, I went into the MSG site to see what is available and chose two price levels, around $100 and it said that there was nothing available, but to try again later, maybe someone will release their tickets. Going nuts here.

If I was from US, I’d go for the VIPs. I tried it for MSG and got a pretty good seat. But it’s easier to get one seat than many. rs, maybe you should try for more expensive ones?
I’m not buying the tickets! It was an exercise that I really shouldn’t do because it clogs up the site for serious buyers.

ADVICE TO WEST COAST GLAMBERTS: go right to the VIP Tour Package for $225 if you are up for the $$. It includes some souvenir memorabilia and great/good seats. Stub Hub will be at least that.

Haven’t heard anything from peeps trying for tickets to DC. Wonder what happened there.
Also, lots of better seats opened up after the first rush, so it might be better to be patient and wait, if you have the nerves for it. (says someone who was only vicariously involved today)

Hi everyone. I’ve been AWOL for quite some time–lurking here and there. Computer problems, life, etc. It’s good to see everyone so excited about the concerts. I don’t feel up to the pressure of trying to get tickets today. My plan/HOPE is to try to get tickets later for Chicago and either Dallas or Houston. Most likely will be Houston as I have family there. Dilemma there is how to explain to them that Adam Lambert got me to Houston when they couldn’t get me there. Glamberts understand
