The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

What is it about Avicii? I heard Hey Brother today and the dj says “Avicii is this rich dj mixer who refuses to mention who actually sings on his songs.” Doesn’t seem too good for his reputation.
Yes, remember Avicii’s “rep”? saying something to the effect that it’s to keep Avicii’s name paramount – not the singers. Apparently, from what I’ve read,
Avicii’s unusual in not noting the singers. Think the True album notes cite them, though – have to go look.
Well, I think if they ever release LMD as a single (doubtful now), everyone will know it’s Adam Lambert!
glambotgram…I totally see your point about the HUGE announcement. The only thing I’m excited about is that it’s on such a big platform…GMA! What I would just die from is an actual performance by them! That would be huge! Really can’t think of much else.
So here is more on my guess. They are announcing the tour at MSG.. They then got contacted by GMA, and are performing on the show, do they have any other performer listed for tomorrow? And lastly, Adams BIG announcement is that they put together an Album with Adam and Queen, with some new songs that Brian talked about/ NO??

I told Texas my theory yesterday that GMA might do a segment from MSG and do a song then hold the press conference for the radio stations/press at 10:30 AM ET. Which does kind of work if they were the last segment on GMA and then gave 30 minutes to get the press inside. All the speculation is kind of fun!

aely – I agree, I think the announcement is about the Queen tour, with maybe other Queen-related tie-ins. But yep, Queen. And it is huge news. It’s not huge news to us at this point, but it is to the general public, for the reasons you state – last time Queen will tour the US, with Adam as frontman.
And I also agree with the rest of you that that remix of LMD is horrid. What was Avicci thinking? The brilliance of Adam’s vocals, the awesomeness of Nile’s guitar, the super funky groove – all gone. This version is so beneath Avicci’s talent and what we know he is capable of creating. I don’t know what he was smokin’ when he was working on that remix, but he should ask for his money back.

@cher56 minutes late…And there was always complaints of Adam being late…He was never that late. I do like JT, but I think he is very overrated..I don’t think he is as good as people make him out to be.

Found JT’s two albums indulgent and mainly mediocre. Good actor, though, and seems to be a nice guy.
I’m beginning to think Avicii may be overrated, too.
The vocals on True were what made the tracks outstanding. Maybe Tim’s trying to prove by this manipulation that he’s the star and not the performer – just a thought –

On my radio, the digital text reads “Aviici Wake Me Up with Aloe Blacc.” If LMD ever hits radio it will give Adam credit.

I dl’d TRIO from iTunes to play on my PC (I had watched it on that candidate for the Smithsonian in the basement). Holy smokes – what a difference in clarity – it was like I was watching it through wax paper before – didn’t know what I was missing. Should I buy a $2,000 TV just to watch Adam – lol?

Whole afternoon full of activities. But I am sure twitter will tell something between them 
Terrible remix of LMD!
What was good was that part of the stage lifted up high and moved to the back of the venue so the other half of the arena could get to see him closer and he and his dancers kept singing and dancing all the way over and then he did about 25 mins back there before they came back to the front stage. I like him. He’s good but nothing extraordinary. Dance moves nothing special, voice pleasant but not extraordinary. Songs not earwormy. Preferred him with NSYNC and their songs. Let me get outta here before luval catches me when she wakes up. Need to grab a couple hours sleep maybe before GMA! DH gonna kill me for sure. Says I’m nutso. May be late for work if livestream from Madison Square Gardens press conference works. 
Oh well. Priorities… 
If I remember anything else special about the concert I’ll post it later……but probably none.
Justin Timberlake concert…. fairly entertaining. Started about an hour and 5 mins late. The crowd loved him in general. Still a better show than some I’ve been to. Don’t really know his songs, only the one he did at IHeart (TKO) and Sexy Back which he used for the encore. Was 2 hrs long. He danced with other dancers, but nothing strenuous. Voice good but he had backup singers pretty much the whole time and I definitely heard them on the stronger notes. Maybe he didn’t have enough material of his own because he did Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis…said he’s from Tennessee, a Michael Jackson song (can’t remember which one) very drawn out and my favorite of the night Poison by Bell Biv Devoe..an oldie and that finally got me up outta my seat. A couple friends with me that have seen Adam thought JT was good but not great. A few others who are not Adam fans thought it was a great concert. Think I’m jaded now. Picky and choosy thanks to Adam. I enjoyed Rod Stewart and Elton John and IL Divo more. Does that mean I’m getting old?
