Just looking at those pictures of those trucks, what a massive undertaking. How cool to bookmark the Queen and Adam thread for every show, this is really getting exciting. I wonder for the show at iheart if they will do a complete dress rehearsal, we gotta know what he is wearing you know. Can you imagine unloading and loading those trucks almost everyday?

I have a buyer for my QAL tix that I bought from Ticketmonster on day 1. They were sent by email. I haven’t printed them yet. If I print them and give them to the buyer will there be any issues?

I bought printed-out tickets from a seller (through an intermediary business) for a 1D concert in August and was told the printed out tickets pose no problems. Hope they’re right – lol. (Maybe call the venue?)

OK…I am going to have to admit that all this talk of google+, events stuff, having to sign up, do this, do that has completely baffled me…….hoping whatever ‘the event’ is, someone somewhere will tape it and put it on youtube.
wow, at those trucks….it really brought it home to me how hard the roadies have to work on a tour this size. All that loading and unloading, setting up, taking down, and driving hundreds of miles between shows.

He posted a while back that he will be working the tour.
I have so many memories of him from GN. From snarky and rude to clever and nice. And I remember him cleaning out the floors/seats in Peoria. He was kicking cups from one area to the next to be gathered together. A rather thankless and yucky job, cleaning up after us Glamberts.

I think that the stage set for Queen + Adam Lambert is going to consist of more than plexiglass steps and two large coffee tables.
I also think that it makes sense to believe that duplicate stage sets have been built that will always be one city ahead of the other one.
I don’t know that it’s physically possible for work crews on these big tours to first unload what Roger has called a “very elaborate” set, assemble it, take it all apart and re-load it on the truck. Then drive it to a different city and repeat the whole process for a performance that will often be the very next night.
I think that there are twin sets.
I’ve read that shows with big production/staging will have 2-3 sets of materials and that while performing in one city, another crew is setting up in a different city so that the shows can go on one day after another, and then be constantly setting up and breaking down on schedule. The band will often fly in private planes in order to have security and schedules that will meet the time demands.
Oh. To be a pilot or “stewardess” on their private plane.

Me: Hunh??? He didn’t sing Elvis on his Season. He mentored the next season during Elvis week.
Her: Oh yes he did. He sang Elvis on his season.
Me: His HAIR was Elvis-like, but he didn’t sing an Elvis song.
This went back and forth several times, ending with:
Me: Trust me. He didn’t sing Elvis during his season. He may have sang a song that Elvis covered at some time, but not an original Elvis song.
I just sent her the playlist for Season 8. No Elvis in sight.

Was talking to a med student today and mentioned I wouldn’t be at work for 3 days next week. He asked me if I was going anywhere, told him about Chicago. He asked who I was seeing..Adam Lambert & Queen. He was familiar with Adam but was most excited about Queen.
He then says “is that your car with the signs all over it”. lol. He said he walks by it every day on his way to the hospital and reads them. haha
People are still questioning on 24/7 and other sites on whether the show monday will be seen live. It says it will be filmed which does not necessarily mean live on tv or internet.
eta: my thinking is ..yes…it will be filmed as well as shows from the tour for possibly a dvd.
