After a very busy couple of weeks of promo and radio concerts following the release of “Trespassing” on May 15, Adam will head to London early this month to begin preparations for his upcoming concerts with Queen. He will do some album promo and a couple of live performances in the UK as well, where Trespassing is set for a July 2 release date. One of these shows is the “Rays of Sunshine” charity event at the very prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Adam will also return briefly to the US for a free radio concert in San Francisco on June 24.

    OMG! Did anyone else catch some of the Justin Bieber special on’Around the World”? OMG. I never really heard him sing but it is truly bad! But those enormous crowds…what I wouldn’t wish for Adam! Yes, they are all young, but Adam could use a few of those..but the whole thing is…unbelieberble!!! No wonder is is emulating Adam as he becomes (???) an adult.

    She said she had spent $40,000 touring with Adam.

    I feel like a bad fan as I didn’t even know he’s done 74 shows. I think I’ve seen her too as I’ve been to all the shows Mils has, plus one. I was told on another site that because I’d been to 5 of his shows I was hogging him and keeping younger fans away. (A good thing they didn’t know how old I am as they really would be freaking.)I wonder what the blog person would think of her. Maybe a little excessive? Laugh

    Was just checking. Brian May wrote Too Much Love Will Kill You, with two other people. He wrote some of the most beautiful and poignant songs apparently, such as Who Wants To Live Forever, The Show Must Go On, etc.

    Love the hair, glad to see he’s still got some….and the party outfit looks great, sleek and stylish.

    little duchess I actually saw JB in concert last year here in HK. He wasn’t as bad as I thought he would be. Sang the slow songs live, not amazing but Ok, lip synched the faster numbers where he was moving more though. The younger generation didn’t seem to mind though…

    And hi little dutchess too Smile If you say you are late for the conversation here it’s the same for me, everything happens when I am sleeping and then in the morning I have two pages to read and comment Grin About the Bieber concert growd: unfortunately these days so much of the pop music concerns other things than music and singing Frown The singing is not always the main point, it’s entertainment whatever it is… Bieber’s pretty baby face? Half-naked women crawling on the stage? I think I am different, because I can enjoy just a beautiful voice singing a beautiful slow song with only piano on the background. Which doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy other kinds of performances – I have to confess that Whole lotta love performed by CERTAIN person with sexy movements simply drives me nuts Hypnotized Blush

    HK fan, I watched earlier your daughter’s performances. She is very beautiful and talented! I sing myself but it’s just for my own pleasure (I just love to sing) in an occasional singing group and sometimes in karaoke. Is it a hobby for her or does she dream to have a career as an artist?

    ladynorth She’s not trained as a singer, but enjoys singing, but she studied performing arts at University and wants really to make a living as an actress. HK is probably not the best place for that,but she teaches drama and does lots of voice over work, a few adverts and stuff.

    HK fan thanks, that was interesting. I hope your daughter finds her opportunities to do what she wants to do, even in HK. BTW, can you speak Chinese or have you manage to live there so long with English?

    I have always loved to sing and participated in a school choir when I was around 10-11, but on the upper level we had to choose between music and arts (drawing/painting stuff) and I liked that too, so I unfortunately took arts. I always dreamed of taking singing lessons as an adult but never had time or energy… It was not until about 4 years ago when I took a singing course for beginners, later a course for just singing in a group and since two years a course of singing in a group (performance two times a year, I have no energy to join a real choir). I am lazy to work on that much, but learning singing and breathing techniques have certainly helped to sing easier and better. But I am not a performer or creative person, so I don’t try to entertain others Grin Well, I sing along with music a lot, and only thing my male half complains is that I always remember the lyrics wrong… I remember melodies, he remembers lyrics Heh

    ladynorth, ashamed to say I do not speak any Chinese, its not an easy language. My daughter speaks some Cantonese, and my younger daughter and son speak some Mandarin.
    It is perfectly possible to manage here without chinese, there are 3 official languages, Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

    Hi everyone.. So sorry ladynorth that you’re going miss our “small dinner” in London Frown You can find a bunch of us at one B & B in Shepherd’s Bush near the Westfield Mall.
    Nope, this Cher is going to two concerts and then heading home to her regular life of paperwork and no sleep.

    The lady in the NNN Glamberts vid is very well known in Adam Lambert land. She was standing right next to me in St Agathe all night at the concert. riskylady and ladybugs were also beside me that night. I believe she saw 55 GN concerts and the rest are other shows I imagine. Her normal travelling companion, who I met at GN New Orleans, is also well known in AFL territory and on twitter. Both of them were sitting across from nekkid and jlurksacto at our St. Agathe dinner but they were staying at a different hotel. The companion had dm-ed me on twitter to ask what we were doing for a get together and when I told her about the dinner, she rsvp-ed for both of them. They’re both American, the one on the video is from the East Coast and was very nice to me that night so I have nothing bad to say. Her money, her life. She can enjoy both as she feels and it’s great for supporting Adam. Without devoted Glamberts like her and us, he wouldn’t be where he is right now. Homophobia still rears its ugly head, one example being the radio deejays.

    Oh btw, since you mentioned Carrie Underwood at the same party with Adam. She’s in concert tonight in London. Coincidentally the same nephew that I’m throwing into the Adam bullpen at dinner in London is going to her concert tonight with his sister and brother. Grin
    Guess I’m going to have to get him one of the Trespassing cds over there. Told him to go bone up on his Queen songs knowledge. Grin

    HK fan, no need to be ashamed. I thought that in HongKong you manage well with English. But for a person from the small country the only way to be international is to learn at least English.

    Cher, so it’s just a quick visit to London… I haven’t traveled abroad for years so I’ll do it properly now Smile We are staying near Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. I am curious to know, when you experienced Glamberts go to Adam’s concert, do you ever go somewhere afterwards (bar, pub) to change your latest experience or just go to your own “corner” with your own feelings Grin? I can’t imagine what I am going to feel or want after the show… I promise to write a report of that.

    So, not to belabor a point, I don’t really care how often a fan sees Adam. Their money, their time.

    I only have a concern when the behavior is rude or inconsiderate. Like those certain fans who shall not be named.

    I do wonder though, what goes through Adam’s mind or what band members think when they see certain faces at almost every show? No matter where in the world they are performing.

    And, I wonder if other celebs have a similar phenomenon. I’m sure there are some.

    Heck, even the Today Show has that one dude that is there every single day, 365 days a year.

    Gads, I admire Adam more and more. He said in that recent interview “it starts with me” or something like that referring to his behavior. Going home early from a party, not drinking much. He knows now how to separate work from play and likes he’s said…those parties are work. An amazing role model.
