Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

Said they would have to charge me more for an Extra-Large size! Sheesh!

I’ll be nice (for a change) and not write the first thing that came to my mind. Second thought was that you would wrap yourself up completely in the leaf like a Greek Dolmades god!

And I do like your comment too glambotgram! Wink

  2. nkd says:

Wow! Where did everyone go? Sasha was incredible, again!

jlurksacto, do you start your journey tomorrow? Be safe, drive carefully!

  3. cgesq says:

Just wanted to give a heads up to all those from the US who are traveling to Canada for the upcoming concert to check with their cell phone carriers and establish ahead of time what the charges are for calls/texts made from Canada. You don’t want any unwelcome surprises (like a mega expensive cell phone bill) upon your return. Also, if you have a smartphone, find out what the data charges are, and if you don’t want to have access to emails or internet, how to shut off the data stream so you don’t have to pay. Its not enough not to open the emails, you still get charged if you don’t reset your phone prior to leaving–at least with verizon.

  4. Ron says:

    Hi nkd!

YES, jlurksacto … you’re leaving at 4AM! Safe trip, enjoy your visit with family and please … stay in touch. Wink

  5. milwlovesadam says:

I’m back to the “clothes hound” concept. LOL

I’d pay to see fig leaf Adam. And he can sit in my car anytime, leaf or not!!!! I love me some sweaty Adam. Ahem.

Cheeks is doing a new web series called Husbands. See Homeplanet for details.

Illuminati was a JOKE people. First he turned the camera on the paps. Then he talked about being an Illuminati. Who remembers that we were going to go to Wembley in a plane called the Glitteratti, to combine glitter + illuminati??
The term refers to famous people. Sheesh!!

Sorry, I don’t mean to have a scolding tone. But, it just ain’t so serious!!

  6. milwlovesadam says:

Re: the “Glee” or not to “Glee” controversy:

If he does show up there, we’d all watch it anyway. Whether or not we all like it. I , for one, really like Glee. Especially when Curt Colfer is singing. He is simply divine.

  7. cher says:

Yep Nekkid, Sasha and Twitch were great together. Fantastic routine. Drive safely jlurksacto. Don’t splash Ron with puddle water as you pass him by. Smile

  8. nkd says:

    Hi Ron!

mils, we never said the extent to which the clothes-hound would have to wear the clothes!

jlurksacto,4am? Coffee!!!! Have a great trip, see you on the 27th!

Looking at flights to Montreal. Can someone please remind of either: the day/page where most of the talking was about the dinner OR do a new synopsis of the plans here? I may fly in on the 28th.

  10. nkd says:

I really need to start packing, but have been putting it off, and putting it off! Am I the only one stressed over what to pack?!!!

Ron the weather man, has been giving me conflicting reports!
    Confused Smile

Things just keep getting better and better! I hope you ARE able to finalize your plans, Calgary!!

SpaWatel, July 28th, cocktails on the terrace beginning at 5PM followed by dinner.

    Hope we see you there!

  12. nkd says:

Dinner gathering will start at 5 pm at the SpaWatel Hotel in Ste Agathe on the 28th. I think!

    Ron beat me to it!

  13. nkd says:

I do hope that you can make it Calgary!

  14. milwlovesadam says:

If, and I mean, if, Adam were to magically appear on True Blood, and if he were to be some creature on the show, he would need to take off all of his layers to transform. Now, we all know our beloved brussel sprout wears many layers at all times. Methinks the only way to get him out of his layers would be to cast some sort of spell over him in which he would forget that he normally wears several layers, thereby when he would shift, it would be in a natural state. No fig leaves of any size needed.

  15. glambotgram says:

I am just now catching up on SYTYCD Yes! Sasha and Twitch hot, hot, hot!

  16. milwlovesadam says:

Night all! I’m off to see Sasha, been listening to Gaga on Stern. Amazing vocal.

  17. cwm says:

    redundant post. sorry.

  18. nkd says:

Seems like it’s about time for a laundry recap! Wink
    Guess everyone’s been busy lately!

  19. Kradamour says:

An interesting comment posted on the youtube of Gaga on Howard Stern:

has anyone ever noticed the most talented ppl.. Elton John, David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson….Gaga…they all come in the most ecentric, out of this world form. So f*ck you American Idol.

And another illuminati reference, had no idea that an ancient cabal had become so current and hot Rolls Eyes:

LOVED Adam turning his camera on the paps! Brilliant.

Just got back from Maine…and when I got to my car at at the airport, and turned on the radio…WWFM! This may not seem like a huge deal to some of you, but I can count on my fingers the times I have heard Adam on the radio, so for me this counts as an Adam moment! Woot! and when I got home there were my passport tickets on the dining room table! Plus while I was away Ron’s plans have managed to include Ste Agathe! Good things come in threes! Grin

  20. Kradamour says:

Hi, nekkid! funny you should mention laundry…I’d love to give you a recap! this morning in Maine, I went to the laundramat with ALL of our linens. I filled six triple load machines, at $4.95 per load, plus dryer time at .25 for six minutes. Total spent was about $42.00. It took three and a half hours, including hauling it all down to the car and driving to the laundramat. I haven’t been to a laudramat for years, it is very high tech now with cards that you load with money instead of needing a billion quarters. It was fun, actually, very nice people work there and they were very helpful with choosing machines, explaining the card system, etc.
I can include more detail if you like. LOL

  21. Kradamour says:

I just noticed that I have a friend request on the fansite from Lee. Are any of us Lee over there? I lose track of all of our aliases…

Looks like I bored nekkid to sleep, even though she asked for a laundry recap…be careful what you ask for, chérie! LOL

  22. nkd says:

I didn’t really want to hear all about your laundry, but I’m so happy to hear anything from you kradamour!

  23. jlurksacto says:

Thanks for all the trip wishes! Had to watch Sasha. Now powering down
all the electronics but PC last to go. Be checking in along the trip.
    Later – – – – – – –

  24. nkd says:

After ultimathule posted about a comment from February, I went back reading old post. I found a request from Ron for a laundry recap! Haha!
I also found our first talks of a summer festival concert in Canada! Who knew we could imagine this into being and that so many would be attending? I do wish everyone could go!

  25. Calgary says:

Thanks for the Ste Agathe dinner info. I’d have to fly out from Calgary at 7 am, not sure that’s doable!

  26. Ron says:

    Welcome Home, Kradamour!

jlurksacto,4am? Coffee!!!! Have a great trip, see you on the 27th!

nkd? You’re going to be in Montreal on the 27th?

  27. Ron says:

Rolls Eyes There I go again!

  28. wyked_whyspers says:

Did anyone notice Adam’s friend Cassidy Haley had a song on SYTYCD tonight on one of the solo’s. Not sure of the dancers name. Good to see another in his circle of friends getting his music/art out there.

The Illuminatti were also featured in Lara Croft Tomb Raider. The movies and literary fiction tend to always portray them as villains, but generally they had other purposes than to control the government, corporations, etc. One major thing is they believed women should be elevated from the place most organized religions placed them, squarely in man’s control. They certainly couldn’t have been all bad.

  29. tchrsd says:

nkd, no you’re not the only one stressed out about what to pack. I’m right there with ya! Any thoughts about the party on 28th and festival the 29th? I need options but I always seem to over pack. Smile And shoes…what about the shoes???

  30. nkd says:

Ron, yes I’m going to be in Montreal on the 27th! Doesn’t that make you all kinds of happy? Wink Or maybe you would like to change your plans now!!

Hi wyked_whyspers! I didn’t notice the song, but I did hear about it being used from twitter!

tchrsd, I’m glad I’m not alone in this wardrobe dilemma! I have no answers for your questions!
But…I got some cute shoes for dinner and some squishy shoes for the festival! FitFlops!

Ron, yes I’m going to be in Montreal on the 27th! Doesn’t that make you all kinds of happy?

Yes, it does! What are the plans for that evening? I only know that I’m arriving with jlurksacto sometime mid-afternoon.

Illuminati was a JOKE people. First he turned the camera on the paps. Then he talked about being an Illuminati. Who remembers that we were going to go to Wembley in a plane called the Glitteratti, to combine glitter + illuminati??
The term refers to famous people. Sheesh!!

Haha and it was a very funny joke!

I think there are different understandings of what the Illuminati actually are. But one perception of them is that they are supposedly a secret society of mucky-mucks in business, politics, entertainment, royalty, etc. who pull all the strings and run the world, “orchestrate world affairs to their liking,” and are seeking to establish a New World Order. It’s a ridiculous conspiracy theorist’s dream of a nefarious group of elitists fixing elections and even orchestrating natural disasters. LMAO So ridiculous.

The “one eye” reference refers to the supposed “sign” of the Illuminati anywhere you see the image of a single eye (e.g. the CBS logo, the eye on the dollar bill).

This site will give you a sense how far over the deep end the conspiracy theorists go about the Illuminati:

    http://meetilluminatimembers.com/

So obviously, Adam was having good fun with the hilarious irony of the thought of getting an application to secret elitist society in the mail and hoping that they accept him. Of course it was a joke. And a really funny one at that. I LOLed at his tweet, and laughed even harder at his @ replies. Some of his fans totally got the joke and had VERY funny replies. I personally am looking forward to Adam achieving world domination and running the world, and wish him luck on getting in. LOL. What do you suppose will be first on his agenda when he’s in charge? Wink

  33. cwm says:

another redundant post. sorry. very strange.

  34. nkd says:

    Hey Ron!
I’m not really sure of the plans. Dinner for sure. Cher is involved! Wink
Perhaps looking around old Montreal a bit!

I’m so happy that you are going to be there, too! Smile

  35. nkd says:

    Hi cwm!
I was out and about when Adam’s illuminati tweet came through on my phone. I laughed so hard!

  36. Ron says:

Cher just emailed me nkd that dinner is part of the plan for that evening.

I don’t know what I’m doing up at this hour. Have to say good night.

  37. nkd says:

    Good night Ron!

    Is Cher lurking?! Wink

    Finished my laundry!
    Good night all!

It’s very cool that Adam’s and J Scott G’s little EP is at #154 overall on itunes, and #2 on the Electronic music list! And the song is #12 on the Electronic songs list.

J Scott G is practically peeing in his pants he’s so excited:

    jscottgofficial J. Scott G.
    #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOOMMMMGGG!!!!

    jscottgofficial J. Scott G.
and by the way… here’s my personal message to Mr. Lambert – You’re awesome. #manifestation.

    Awww sweet.

I bought the whole EP. Fun, upbeat, dancey stuff. Smile

  39. adamized says:

Morning everyone! I am really really enjoying SYTYCD this year. So many talented dancers and choreographers. I find myself tearing up everytime Sasha dances. Many of the girls this year are outstanding. Though I love Sasha I think Melonie is definitely the front runner. Jordan was also amazing. Tried voting for Sasha but line was busy everytime I tried. Guess that is a good sign.

    Safe travels jlurksacto.

I’m glad Adam gave the thumbs up to the J Scott music. Hopefully they both feel good about the timing of the release and Adam’s share in any profits. Production rights can be messy and as we all have learned often the original singer/song writer may end up with nothing and with no say in what happens to their music. I think a lot of folks enjoy Adam’s pre-idol music. Hopefully no matter who owns the rights at this point they will understand that getting Adam’s support is important for any truly successful release.

  40. cwm says:

Sorry for my triple-posted comment about the Illuminati last night– my computer was totally acting up and I didn’t even see those three posts until this morning. I just wanted to assure you that I wasn’t trying to beat you over the head with my comment! I deleted two of them.

Psst — now that I think about it, it must be the Illuminati controlling my ability to talk about them on the internet. They control EVERYTHING!

  41. Kradamour says:

Just opened my festival ticket envelope – since I bought a passport, I thought it was interesting to see the numbers on the tickets for each performer:
    Maxime Landry: 330
    Tout Feu, Tout Femme: 349
    Eric LaPointe: 362
Kenny Rogers (they thought he would be the headliner): 514
    ADAM F. LAMBERT: 873

No wonder they are shaking their heads in Ste Agathe!
I think that general admission seat numbers are generally the number of tickets sold – the highest ticket number anyone here has posted has been 1300 or so I think?
1500 would be a nice audience, comfortable for everyone and enough energy for Adam. I would love that. Smile

  42. Oksana2000 says:

Kradamour, I wonder if mayor of St.Agathe (or whoever was organizing the festival) knew much about Adam?
How did Adam get this gig?
Wouldn’t it be funny if Adam was the one with the highest number of tickets sold? The main attraction? Not Kenny R?
    Smile

  43. Kradamour says:

Oksana, I think that’s a given (re Adam selling the most tickets). Grin

And we know how Adam got this gig. We visioned it and made it happen! I believe that.

  44. Oksana2000 says:

And we know how Adam got this gig. We visioned it and made it happen! I believe that.

kradamour, can we use that power of collective “wishing” when his album #2 comes out?
And how about making him undress little bit more? Rolls Eyes
    (Goes quickly to the corner)

  45. Ron says:

Ugh! False alarm … so disappointing.

I can’t see/read anything … anything … without my reading glasses and I never carry them with me outside of the apartment.

Go downstairs for the mail. Only 1 envelope and it’s unique. Not familiar with this type of envelope. I manage to see an extremely blurred “R” at the beginning of the name. For me? OH, IT’S THE TICKET! Different kind of envelope, I’m not expecting anything else in the mail, it HAS to be the ticket! I’m positive it’s the Passport ticket!

But, when I ripped that envelope open, it was my updated Mastercard. Frown Crushed would be a good word to insert here.

I wonder if further ID will be required in addition to my PayPal receipt? At this point in time, the only valid ID I have is my birth certificate. I’m going to bring it with me.

I hope, because it’s written in Old English and on parchment paper, that the gate-keeper will be able to understand it. Neutral Smile

  46. Kradamour says:

I hope, because its written in Old English and on parchment paper, that the gate-keeper will be able to understand it. Neutral Smile

Okay, a first. I spat tea on my keyboard. Thanks, Ron… Smile

But I think a picture ID is what will be wanted, if any sort of ID. Anyone could bring your birth certificate and claim to be you, as long as they look to be about your age, and male.
But it is too soon to despair of receiving the real deal. I’ll cross my whatsits for you.

  48. ultimathule says:

Clever Adam – giving the OK to LTL at this dryish period between appearances – letting the pot simmer until August+ when it will begin coming to a full boil.

  49. ultimathule says:

With regard to Adam’s one tweet sending LTL up the charts, that event brings to mind another post I saved from 2009: (gotta bunch)

“I spend most of my RL time working in the area of user/customer experience management, virtual-mass media integration and brand messaging. I have been lucky enough to be working on a project that involves celebrity brands right now – and Adam happened to be on the celebrity list. It is private research but I can say that the Adam numbers are unique and so stunning/unheard of that we are back in the field doing confirmation work. But right now it is a statistical outlier that will not be confirmed in the 2nd set of interviews OR he really is . . . [a] ‘Black Swan.’ As an analyst, I’m not taking a position on this one.”

Always wondered what happened to the 2nd set. However, it does appear the 1st found something not only unusual, but true.

  50. Kradamour says:

I remember that post, ultimathule. At the time I wasn’t even surprised; I thought from the minute of “meeting” him through the media that Adam is something and someone very, very unusual. Because of that, it made perfect sense that he had not yet achieved success…he doesn’t fit any of the boxes/cubbyholes for performers, and it wasn’t clear how to market him or to whom. It took Idol with its wide audience to convince TPTB that he was in fact marketable, even though he didn’t fit any molds. The music industry these days is pretty hunkered down and not very adventurous, unfortunately. Adam’s career so far has been fan-driven in ways that I don’t think other careers have been. We amaze and TPTB take notice. Grin
