Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

    A few years ago, I lived in Sarasota for 4 years, floridagirl. Beautiful! Lush, tropical paradise right on the Gulf of Mexico. Heaven … except, (excuse my French, Kradamour) Smile it was hot as Hell!

    So, when I was old enough to support myself and leave home (I was about 12 years old), I moved to New York City. Lush, cement paradise right on Long Island Sound and yet it was still hot as Hell come Summer!

    It was therefore time to move further north to the unlush, non tropical, just off-shore … Lake Ontario … Toronto. The humidex reading here today was 112F.

    I am seriously contemplating living in an igloo in the far northern regions of the Antarctic!

    My only concern is if I’ll be able to have access to the Internet.

    I don’t think that will be too much of a hassle, though. Smile

    Well so much for keeping the “Ron is going to the concert” a surprise! Thanks jlurksacto for picking up our hitchhiker to the Adam galaxy. Ron bring a glittery blanket so you can be transported to anywhere in the universe (well, anywhere between Toronto and Ste.Agathe anyway Wink )
    Oh Ron, you don’t need to move that far to get cool weather. It’s been in the 60’s for the past week here. The rest of the country is taking what little heat the northwest would usually get this time of year.

    Well mils, I will be here with you. I have a few good bottles of French wine and I even found a recipe for a special Quebec treat!
    Dessert Poutine!

    I did a quick variation from stock in my pantry. I used Pirouline sticks for the “frites – French Fries”, scooped French Vanilla ice cream into small “fromage en grains” using a melon baller and then drizzled some pure Quebec maple syrup “gravy” over top. Yummmmm! Still licking my fingers!

    luval — maybe all of your Bowie wishes had some kind of effect after all! Twitter being what it is, this person’s claims cannot be verified until at some unknown point in the future when she is able to post pictures, but there’s a fan who claims that her 18 y.o. son met David Bowie on a NY-UK trip that he’s on, and that he and Bowie talked about Adam, and Bowie said that he really likes Adam’s voice. ??!!

    Yea, I finally got logged in. I have been following your adventures to Adams concert. Soooooo excited for you guys, its like I am going my self. And Ron when you said you werent going I was so sad,for you, THEN I read that you are indeed going, CLAP I was so happy for you. Gosh the anticipation of this concert is helping me with the nightmare that is going on with my family.
    I hope the concert is good for Adam, and that we at least hear a new song. The Moscow concert was just as I expected, no new songs, but I have a great feeling that he will be singing different stuff. And I am excited with all of you going that we stuck at home people will be right there with you. And Suz with her great videos, ahhhh, so excited.

    I asked if there was an alternative, if people didn’t receive their concert Passports come show time, and was sent this reply:

    I called and spoke to someone yesterday they have all been printed and mailed out.
    Also if for any reason yours does not reach you they said to bring your reciept to the box office the day of the concert and you’ll be all set.

    I also received another response to my question about the weather. This sounds much more “concert friendly”. Smile

    Hi,
    I have a summer place very very close to the site where the show will be. First, don’t worry about the mosquitoes. Yes they can be bad in the mountains, but not where the show will be. A few, may be but not many trust me. Second, the Watel Inn is a great location. I don’t know about their rooms, never been inside. But there are not many hotels near by and it is a short walk along the lake. It will be difficult to drive around, some streets will be closed, people will be looking for parking here and there. You will be happy you can walk to the site believe me. After the show you cross the street to the beach and there will be major fireworks. They will be very good apparently. Or you can walk back to your hotel and see them from there but might not be as great of a view. General public will be all along that street to watch the fireworks.
    If you have other questions don’t hesitate to ask, it will be a pleasure!!

    You are so right, luval, but then we say the same thing about Adam in that he doesn’t need all the makeup, glitter, and glam. They just love it, and it is a part of their personas.
    Earlier I posted on MJ’s about this performance as to how it gave me chills. She is amazing!!

    There was something in the headlines or over at 24/7 about somebody from Glee sitting in at the studio with Cam and Adam singing and Cam will be producing a song for Adam.

    Could this one be true? A Glee/Adam connection? Excuse me. I might implode at any moment…..
