Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

    Hi, everybody. I know it’s late, but I had an idea: Why don’t we start a pool guessing the name of the new album?
    Here’s a few candidates from me:
    1. #Realness (well, it would be groundbreaking lol)
    2. Reflections (comes frm that pic Adam tweeted on the chair in the studio)
    3. Closer to Earth (said this a couple of times in his Japan InRock interview – you know how he drops things and later we find out they meant something?))
    4. Organic (also from the Japan and other interviews)
    5. Mind Control (new song registered – someone mentioned that above as a possibility)

    I’m SURE you guys have tons of very creative ideas!! Go for it!

    I know I haven’t posted here in a while although I do follow the thread. I’m also going to the concert and I haven’t received my passport either here in Orlando. I’m getting just as antsy as you riskylady. I’m trying to remain calm now being as others are getting theirs. I just won’t feel comfortable until I have it in hand!

    Good morning, 7/18/10 was an off day for the GNT as they headed northwest from Denver. Coming up this week – Boise on Tue 7/19, Seattle on Wed 7/20, and Portland on Thu 7/21.

    First place I go in the morning is MJ’s. Saw the clip of Adam at the movies. Came here and saw it already posted. You guys are fast. There is also a video of Jimmy Fallon and Blake (from the voice) at MJ’s. I would really love to see what Adam would do on that show. I think it could be epic.

    – he’s written and recorded 25 songs. Probably all of the songs on the album will be ones he has written
    – key themes of search for oneself and self-discovery, both positive and negative
    – very personal — how he thinks, his feelings, what he’s learned about himself, but also focused on universal feelings we all experience
    – he feels some pressure around the sophomore jinx/slump, but also conveys confidence
    – he expresses appreciation for his fans’ support and feels like he’s gotten to know his audience pretty well over the past year

    Yep, leaving the 21st – heading east. Gonna visit family in Nebr for a few
    days, then on to Toronto (might pick up a passenger) and Montreal. Now it
    is time to get serious about packing a suitcase.

    Remember, he is the one who made a big deal (positively so) when Adam called out that cell phone user during his performance.

    Hm, I’ve just now realized that my regular (non-passport) ticket for this show may leave me stuck far from the stage in a poor viewing location. What types of passports did people get? Do we know which ones will be given access to better viewing locations for the show? There are still passports (Laissez-passer) available currently, but I’m doubting that those will have any access to better seating than general single show tickets.

    Damn, I should have thought of all this sooner. Didn’t know I was going to the show until all the early passports were gone Frown

    eywflyer. I really don’t think it matters what type of ticket you purchased. It’s general admission. I don’t know of anyone who bought the special $500.00 or whatever price that special viewing area tickt was. btw my Adam Lambert ticket is number 1350. Still not sure what all that means. Probably nothing.

    Wow, when I identified that “Mind Control” registration on ASCAP as a red herring, I didn’t know that it would involve quite so much drama! You go Alisan!

    I thought that it was odd when that song title showed up on ASCAP but Adam shot it down as definitely NOT being on the album. Something struck me as fishy about that.

    It’s really obvious how important it is to be able to trust your colleagues in this business.

    adamized — don’t worry about posting the link to the ASCAP site. It’s a perfectly legitimate music registration site where songwriters register their songs so that they can collect royalties on them. The issue wasn’t that the ASCAP link was shared among fans, the issue was that apparently the guy who registered that song title on ASCAP shouldn’t have done so, because (1) it wasn’t even an actual song — it was only an idea but never got any farther than that and (b) he didn’t have the permission of the other writers to register it. So Alisan was basically calling him out.

    Here’s what I love about the pics and videos of Adam and Sauli out after the movie :

    1) Adam looked gorgeous and happy, so smiley. Less makeup. Nail polish in some photos look like that new crackle stuff.

    2) Neil!!! And smiling to boot!! And tan!!

    3) Sauli with new blonde mohawk. Very very tan. Big smiles. BB came home from NYC.

    4) Listening to Adam laugh. Love to hear that laugh.
