Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

    Adam!

    @adamlambert Twitter party?!

Looks like he is done, 20 minutes since last reply. Still tweeting – a few interesting items so far:
    – Adam has picked the album title
    – he says he was born to do show business and always wants to be in that field
    – purple glowsticks for the next tour would be “awesome”

Lol someone created a new profile and posted their first and only tweet to Adam – and he @replied.

  3. luval says:

Jackie Tohn in that pic with Adam was a contestant on Platinum Hit. She was eliminated last week. Decent song writer, though.

Looks like Adam’s cut his hair unless that’s the angle of the photo.

  4. Kradamour says:

I just talked with Ceddies – she got her concert passport yesterday! So there is hope for us all Smile
Her computer is in the shop with viruses so she didn’t have anyone to squee with!
She hopes to get it back Monday.

Jlurksacto…Just curious as to which border crossing into Canada you’re taking.

cwm, you beat me to posting about suz526 videoing the Idol tour last night. I’ve been a Idol watcher since the middle of season one and I am still a watcher of tour videos. Hers of course are the best I’ve seen. I’m a James fan this year and also like Paul. My hubby likes Paul and Scotty and my 11 yr old granddaughter loves Scotty(not a surprise). There is Idol fun after Adam. Love seeing Adam having fun in NY, not a sighting of Sauli in NY tho. Those of us not going to Quebec at least have your play by play post to help us survive till he shows up on TV and so glad suz526 will be there filming as no one does it better.

Suz, a singer friend of mine, Regina and I went to the Idols concert together at the Nokia last night. Love watching Suz work on those vids afterwards! She is amazing. Another James fan here. He brought the house down and had the whole audience singing on SCOM.

Kradamour, I just caught up with your story about the woman in NY. It’s so true, while everybody else was wilted, soggy and heat stroked, one vision of loveliness gets seared into your memory.

I still cannot fracking believe that I missed being so near to our boy.

BTW: a “jumper” in my parts is one of two things 1) someone who commits suicide by jumping out of a window or off a bridge or roof or 2) an article of clothing which is like a sleeveless dress, but you wear a blouse under it.

Nutella is a hazelut spread with smooth as silk ground hazelnuts and chocolate mixed as a spread. Or, eaten by dipping a tiny spoon straight into the jar, causing any recent weight loss to magically reverse itself. It’s my version of crack. Seriously, who needs drugs when the world gave me Nutella??

  9. tchrsd says:

Loving all the photos of Adam in NYC and especially the Fantasy Springs recap. DANG he had…has swag! Fun checking in on Twitter party today and enjoying AI vids from Suz.

Finally got my CharityWater autographed photo yesterday!! Worth the wait but was a little disappointed thinking it might be a different shot, close up, but still LOVE it. Now to find a place of honor on my desk framed and ready to enjoy daily. Smile

Still waiting for festival passport and hoping that it arrives before the 27th when we fly out of San Diego on our first leg of the journey. Fingers crossed! Encouraged that others have gotten theirs!

Ron, may I join in and say I too was so looking forward to meeting you. I love your witty and spontaneous posts and look forward seeing you another time.

  12. adamized says:

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just went to my mailbox and what did I find other than an ever growing cobwebb??? Yes, the tickets arrived! I didn’t realize that we would get individual tickets to each of the evening concerts. That means if anyone is staying on the 30 or 31 they can use my ticket to see Kenny Rogers and/or Mixime landry. How great is that??? At least I think it works that way since they are separate tickets for the separate evenings. I am so excited!!!

BTW, I loved the Edge of Glory vid. Thanks for sharing.

Loved that Adam broke down and had a twitter party. Maybe he had a bit of time on his hands since Sauli seems to have stayed home.

  13. Kradamour says:

Re the twitter party – I love that when Adam is alone he reaches out to his fans in such an honest and open way. He could just choose the softball questions to answer and the fandom would still squee.
But he has something very like a conversation with us; the two parties to the conversation being Adam and on the other side his collective fans. We bombard shower him with questions and he chooses the ones that allow him the opportunity to say what he wants us to know – and I especially love when he replies and then quickly follows with another tweet to round out what he said a moment ago, because he wasn’t completely happy with the first reply and wants to clarify. That seems to indicate that he actually cares about the interaction and wants it to be clear, as he would with a conversation with a friend.

  14. cwm says:

I totally agree kradamour. I love his openness, depth, and wit during his twitter parties.

24/7 has a complete transcript posted now.

  15. dcglam says:

Thanks for the Twitter party treats, cwm. I’m one of those unlucky peeps who is not on Twitter, so please know how much I appreciate your posting these for our entertainment!!

  16. cwm says:

You’re very welcome dcglam. Happy to help!

Do you know, though, that you don’t have to have a twitter account to see Adam’s tweets? Just go to http://twitter.com/#!/adamlambert and they’re all there. Smile

To see what people asked him that he is responding to, just click on the little forward arrow ( > ) in the upper right hand corner of each tweet.

  17. Kradamour says:

I love the transcripts to copy and save for future research re-read casually. LOL

  18. nkd says:

We were standing in line for HP when I get a text tweet from Adam about a twitter party! I am never available to join in the twitter parties! The movie was incredible, btw!
As I read the twitter party transcript, I was reminded why I love this man.

Also no festival passport or charity:water photo for me today! I’m glad to hear that others are receiving their festival tickets in the mail. Gives the rest of us some hope! Smile

  19. luval says:

    “I prepare. I create. I love” ………Am haunted now by this….in a good way!

  20. dcglam says:

Haha…. Many thanks for the Twitter tips, cwm! I knew how to access Adam Lambert on Twitter, but I wasn’t aware of how the forward arrow would lead me to the other half — never paid attention to it. Frown
I’m embarrassed to say that I am fairly tech savvy, too. Oops!

  21. AL says:

    cwm,
24/7 has a complete transcript posted now.

Thanks for the link. It lead me through a maze of Adam goodness and I found a link in the comments to a Portuguese website featuring Adam and his style.

    celebrity-itboy original
    celebrity-itboy translation

Other words in the article translated by another online translator:
Portuguese: muito couro, preto, botas, esmalte, oculos, escuros, aneis e Cabelão, noite, dia
English: long leather black boots, nail polish, sunglasses, dark rings and big hair, night, day

ETA Just noticed that they have a translation link on the site. I used google translate above

  22. Kradamour says:

Wow, AL. that translation is pretty…um…well…incoherent. Had no idea that Portuguese would be so tough for a computer translator to handle, Portuguese is a romance language but the translation sounds like the original language could have been Chinese! Rolls Eyes or Sanskrit!

  23. dcglam says:

English: long leather black boots, nail polish, sunglasses, dark rings and big hair, night, day

LOL….. Yup, that pretty much sums him up! Wink

  24. AL says:

Wow, AL. that translation is pretty…um…well…incoherent.

No kidding! You should try the website’s link to translate to French or Spanish. They are just as incoherent. Expressions in any language are always difficult for online translators. Anyone on here speak Portuguese?

  25. AL says:

English: long leather black boots, nail polish, sunglasses, dark rings and big hair, night, day

LOL….. Yup, that pretty much sums him up!

I think the translation left out a few commas.

    Another better translation?
much leather, black color, boots, nail polish, sunglasses, rings and big hair, night, day

Either one sums him up quite well though! Wink

  26. Kradamour says:

the Ste Agathe festival is stranger every time I check. There is some sort of collaboration with the Polar Bears Club (didn’t even read that, it is more fun to imagine what on earth the collaboration could be between swimming in freezing waters and fireworks lol) and now on July 31st there will be the world’s longest picnic table to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Coca Cola.
Fireworks will go off to the music of BEP I’ve Got a Feeling (yes! memories of the dance party at Glamnation!) among other songs. Also Cee Lo’s “Forget You” – he was part of Gnarls Barkley “Crazy” that Adam does so well. All sorts of little treats!
Now if my tickets would only arrive… Frown

  27. cwm says:

My favorite translated comment post from the Portuguese fashion website:

Eat your heart out of your hair!

Haha trying to picture this. I think she likes his hair! LOL

But some of the Portuguese translated exceptionally well:

    The guy smashes it.

  28. cwm says:

You gotta read this. Terra_zephead did a great job translating Adam’s interview with INROCK magazine (from Japanese). He talks at length about the album thematically and lyrically, and the interviewer asks very good questions. Great interview! Album details!!

@terra_zephead: I’ve not yet translated the last part of INROCK i/w but I’ve posted the 2nd (best part) http://terraj.livejournal.com

I am so looking forward to hearing Adam’s new music. He is really pouring his heart and soul into it.

  29. cwm says:

Awww, everybody loves Adam, even his flight attendant. LOL I mean seriously, is there no one who comes away from an interaction with him without gushing about how wonderful he is?

    WorldWideWee Wendy Lorena
Much love to @AdamLambert for being one of the best passengers I’ve ever had Smile

    Her response to questions:

Good morning, 7/17/10 found the Glam Nation Tour still heading west, reaching the Paramount Theatre in Denver:

    http://www.adamlambertlive.org/2011/gnt-denver-co-071710

This recap features a full set of HD videos from suz526, and includes my personal favorite version of WLL during the tour (of course, the Fantasy Springs WLL will likely never be equalled).

  33. Suz526 says:

eywflyer – loved this concert! If I remember correctly, this was a last-minute decision where everything aligned perfectly: a good seat dropping in price on StubHub, frequent flyer miles, and a hotel within walking distance of the venue. Didn’t take much to convince me to go!!!

Had a great weekend with adamland and friend Reggie. Went to see the AI tour in LA. My first one since Season 8. There will never be another Adam, but these kids really put on a good show. If it comes to your neighborhood you should see it, you won’t be disappointed Smile

I can’t believe it is less than 2 weeks!!! No passport yet, but so glad to hear that some of you have received them already – whew!!! I’m starting my check-off list today. . . I can hardly wait to see so many good friends and meet some new ones.

  34. luval says:

Good Morning…What I have in my notes about the Denver concert….Monte jumped in the crowd and couldn’t get up during Music Again! Also during IIHY Brooke had her hand on His Hotness’s shoulder during their little dance together.

  35. dcglam says:

Not sure how legit this is….
Adam’s album possibly ready by October??? However, it was mentioned in that InRock article that was posted earlier.

    http://lezgetreal.com/2011/07/adam-lamberts-sophomore-album-may-be-done-by-october/

“Lambert does acknowledge jitters about the second album jinx, but so far, he has already recorded some 25 songs for it, and that he expects the album to be ready by October.”

  36. Kradamour says:

I’m not sure that done by October means released in October, though.
But remember how far away October/November used to seem? And we thought we wouldn’t survive the drought until then? Frown
And here we have a concert and its fallout to entertain us into August, and some TV on the horizon in August, also. Some of us will be distracted for a while with getting kids off to school/college, and somehow even if we don’t September seems to fly by every year. I think we’re all gonna make it until the new album drops! LOL

(Hope y’all noticed the twitter name of Satanic Thong!)

  37. milwlovesadam says:

    25 songs???

So, another situation where he chooses songs, then drops other ones into concerts? Or, saves some for the next album?? Or, drops an album , and then an EP? Or an EP which is a teaser for a full length CD? Or, several EP’s??? Gah. We could all end up locked up in a padded cell before this is over.

BTW: One more moment of greatness in NYC with me and my son. We were having a delicious dinner in a Kosher Vegetarian place called Soom Soom on 72nd and Broadway, and the music playing was Adele. But, a remix of Set Fire to the Rain which clearly only gets played in places like NYC and Europe, maybe LA. Delicious food, NYC and Adele. Nice. Very nice.

( Kradamour, I know you want to know what we ate. We had a Sabich Sandwich which was eggplant in a fresh soft pita with various Middle Eastern salads, and Tehina and hummus. I had the fresh iced mint tea to go with it. Yummy. ) My favorite salad to choose from was the pickled baby eggplants.

    And flat broke LOL

Or (probably more likely) the extra songs disappear forever, like Suburban Decay. Frown

(Yummy meal, mils!. We were at a block party last night catered by a middle eastern restaurant – I had exactly the same food, too funny! Smile )

  39. dcglam says:

Mils…. Your NYC/Adele story reminds me of my last trip to the mall where I heard a remix of “Rolling in the Deep”. I’m usually not a big fan of remixes, but this one was good.

By the way, I wanna hear all 25 of those songs!!!

  40. adamized says:

Hello friends. This is a link to a music site that is very interesting. If you do a search by writer you see all registered musice by Adam and if you do a search by performer you see all the registered music that Adam has performed. There are a few surprises in there especially what looks to be a brand new song cowritten by Adam, others, and Alisan P. Maybe THIS is the poop worthy item!!!!!!! Hold onto your depends.

haha The thermostat outside my window here in Central New York reads 118 degrees!…in the sun…noon. Looked up Ste. Agathe and right now it’s 81 degreesF with 58% humidity. Very nice.

dcglam. I heard the remix of Rolling in the Deep and just did not like it at all. To me, some songs like this one or WWFM are just not “remixable” for the clubs. IMO

  42. Kradamour says:

Maybe THIS is the poop worthy item!!!!!!!

The song is called “Mind Control”…well, yes. Smile That should be the name of the album. And his tour. And his career. We are all under his control…and we don’t mind! Smile

About those 25 songs….. Maybe he plans to surprise us with two albums — like what mils mentioned earlier!?!?
You know, kind of a reward for being such patient fans.
LOL, a girl can dream, right?? Wink

  44. Kradamour says:

25 songs would be a dreamworthy double album, dcglam!

  45. Kradamour says:

Wow, looks like I am posthoeing even though I haven’t posted for 6 hours! Wonder where everyone is…maybe we all left for another thread and no one told me. Oh, well. Neutral

Came here to post something, though. My husband works for a large consulting firm that is in many ways very liberal, even though a government/military contractor. There is an active and company-supported GLBT organization for employees and family members, for ex.

Anyway, he came home with a little tchotchka that employees are being given to keep on their desks. It looks like a small lava lamp, and has the word “diversity” stamped on the base with the company name. When you give it a shake, the liquid-filled part explodes with glitter and a little light show of colors. Definitely a bit lol-worthy, but also a tangible reminder of company expectations for their staff.

    Yup, it’s getting better. Grin

  49. Kradamour says:
