Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

    Seriously am I one of a minority who refuses to discuss where Adam lives although I’ve effing known all along the general area and lived a few blocks from his previous house? I just don’t get the effing fascination with a house or wanting to know where someone lives. He’s just a man not some deity. I lived amognst rockers and stars, never once did I mention where they live or really care. It’s their tiny piece of privacy. Rant over for now.

    To change the subject……
    Lady Gaga wrote a song for Cher’s new album that I happen to love and can totally see Cher singing/performing. Evidently the song was written around a year ago, but Cher is in the process of recording it now. How is this on the topic of “Adam”? Well, as we all know Gaga is part of FYE and some of us (Kradamour?) talked about liking the idea of an Adam/Cher collaboration at some time. Anyway, here’s the song…..

    Last thing I’m going to say on the house topic: besides the obvious concern for Adam’s privacy and security, what saddens me most about this is that Adam has in the past has shared more on twitter with his fans than the vast majority of celebs, but now after this has happened Adam may decide to use his twitter account as so many other celebs do, just another distribution method for press releases. I wonder if this is already starting to happen – Adam has been all but silent on twitter for the past few weeks.

    Thanks for that link, dcglam! Yes, it was me with the Adam/Cher collaboration dream. And she tweeted such nice things about him, it could happen!
    Love this song, can’t wait to hear Cher sing it!

    and btw I am pretty proud to be part of this community and happy that we are doing what we can to protect Adam’s privacy. Although, it certainly looks like the property is large enough that cray-crays lurking at the gate would be invisible from the house and not much nuisance.
    Adamland, ITA re caring where Adam lives, but I think our interest is in his taste in housing and that he is renting a quite reasonable property rather than buying a McMansion. I think that is a normal and healthy interest, actually.
    But do I need the address? Nope. Smile

    I think this house thing should now be between Adam and the real estate agent. Most real estate is public record anyway, although with Adam renting this could change things.
    With this age of technology, I’m surprised this didn’t come out a long time ago.

    Kradamour I don’t think Adam could afford a mansion in L.A. yet. And to me a house is just a house. None of my business IMO as it was his tiny piece of total privacy and escape in L.A. And since I could care less what Adam or any singer/actor does off the clock except to fully endorse the concept of their being entitled to a private life of course I’m totally upset this has been made public so excuse me if I don’t get all curious.

    Well, I, for one, would like to see the realtor pics of the house. Am interested in Adam’s tastes and, actually, just about anything else about him. What is annoying on twitter are posters scolding anyone seeking the pics after they (the posters) have already seen them – lol.

    Re: Adam’s housing. That was all over the internet last night. Lots of people are interested in celebrities’ homes which is why they have hugely popular shows like MTV Cribs, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, etc. Miami has a paid boat sightseeing tour that specializes in showing celebrity homes on the waterfront. Very popular tourist attraction.
    The problem is with OTT/stalker fans that don’t know where to draw the line. I love seeing pics of nice homes, but don’t care to know the addresses nor have any intention to go see them in person. The paparazzi obviously already know where Adam lives. Wouldn’t be a secret, especially to them. I only hope he’s not hounded nor harassed because of this exposure to the mainstream public.

    eta- what’s really funny is I saw the pics but never had a clue that his address was also available until I read about the RCAed’s upset this morning. My son liked Adam’s and Ryan Seacrest’s houses the best. lol He loves MTV cribs. Smile

    IA, and I wasn’t dictating what people should and shouldn’t do just stating why I feel like I do. I’ve lived amongst so many entertainers that I feel overprotective of their privacy and what private life they can manage to have.

    adamland, aaaahhhhh… the life of a celeb. Can’t live in peace, can’t even have a bad hair day, no makeup day or your pic will be all over the world in no time. Fame and fortune, but no privacy.
    Is that a fair tradeoff? Not for me..I prefer to do the celeb watching. More fun… them in the limelight, not me. lolol Smile

    Not talking about Adam’s house NOW? It’s all water under the bridge.
    I am happy that he is doing so well that he can afford this beautiful house. Two years ago Adam was living in a small studio.Without DISHWASHER!! (Horror) Smile
    Will he ever (when he can afford) want to live in McMansion? I doubt, he has too much of a good taste. Money do not equal class. I live in the neighbourhood infested by nouveau riche, who are knocking down beautiful old houses and are building monstrosities….

    Being a celeb is a trade-off. Some celebs make it clear that they want no contact with their fans – and that should be respected IMO – if all they are putting out there is their music, then that’s all we get.
    But for artists like Adam, who make it clear that they enjoy fans, and in Adam’s case even hold twitter parties, come out after concerts to meet fans, etc, I think it is fair to be overtly interested in their private lives as long as we aren’t intrusive.
    Adam the person/celebrity is as much a part of his brand as Adam the singer/musician. If we weren’t interested in Adam the person, and his life and success, the brand wouldn’t be worth as much.
    Caring about Adam the celebrity is what leads me to buy his music, even the music I don’t like very much (and that would be the rock music that so many of you love LOL), and leads me to actually pay for it rather than finding free downloads. If I was only interested in Adam the musician, I would own much less of his music and contribute less to his financial well-being.
    But he shouldn’t have to pay for that by giving up all of his personal privacy.
    Will I ever go anywhere near his home? Nope. Will I send letters to his house? Nope. Do I need his street address? Nope.
    But I do think it is interesting (and a “fair” part of the deal between Adam and his fans) to see his home in a general sense, and add that information – his taste in a place to live – to our image of him. That image is what sells the music that pays for the home.
    And I wish him much happiness there.

    But I doubt that they even use credit card.. everything is cash only. And when I see Merc parked right on the hydrant I know it’s one of them, cause they consider themselves above the law. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing them getting ticket (which takes in my borough about 10 seconds) and screaming bloody murder afterwards… hehehe

    This is all so interesting because I have an extremely reliable source whose family member went to Adam’s house not too long ago. She was told by Adam’s mom that there were to be no pictures taken and she was not to reveal the location of the home. Leila was adamant so of course this person complied and was allowed to come. They took care of some business and left. I have a little more info than that(no, not address or exact location) but won’t share because of their privacy. Would love to have a glimpse inside though! Smile

    Oksana2000 — I didn’t make my question to eywflyer very clear. I mostly just meant that maybe we should make sure that our discussion doesn’t contribute to someone being able to track down those pictures and more importantly his address on the basis of what we said in our posts. To that end, I changed my post to remove the names of sites where I knew pics had been posted.

    I saw a mention elsewhere that RCAed expressed concern on AO about the information getting out without Adam’s permission and asked that people not re-post the info anywhere. I have not gone to AO to see RCAed’s actual post, though.

    This being the internet, we can’t get the cat back in the bag. But I hope that the spread of the information about his address can be minimized for the sake of his privacy and security.

    Thanks, Oksana! For some reason I feel compelled to explain my “mild interest” in Adam’s house … I don’t care where the house is located, don’t even want to know. But if there are photos that illustrate the general area, type of architecture, landscaping, etc., I don’t feel like I’ve invaded anyone’s privacy. It’s not like we’re peeking into drawers. Smile

    On the other hand, I’m sure we all are aware that there is very detailed information about each and every one of us out there in cyber-land. Just the other night, I was extremely bored (thanks Adam – would a tweet every once in a while be too much to ask? Big Smileand I googled myself. I couldn’t believe the thoroughness of the information that came up – including every variation of my name that has appeared on a credit card. AND, for a mere $39.95, you could purchase a comprehensive background check on me, or whomever else you might want to investigate. Just goes to show that we leave a very complete cyber-footprint everywhere we go.

    ETA: Adam should’ve rented his house using an alias! What was his nickname last summer, when he wore the mustache and sunglasses? Gahh, my memory is failing me!

    Took me so long to decide to even post last comment that I just read all others above. I couldn’t agree more and I think we are curious, interested but not obsessed to the point of being intrusive. I would never discuss or gossip what little I might learn because it’s really not my business and respect others privacy. End of discussion for me.

    On a happier note did anyone see the Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hode (sp?) from Montreal this morning? Tomorrow’s show also features pountine! Cobblestone streets, bagels, ice wine were featured. A little bit of Paris they say and I can’t wait to see it! What a beautiful city! Smile

    tchrsd and Oksana — I’m not worried about those of us who post here. Folks here seem to have a pretty healthy sense of boundaries and respect for Adam’s privacy and security, combined with a good-natured, affectionate, and non-intrusive curiosity about what his life is like. That applies to me too.

    Problem is, we know that there are Adam fans (and trolls and haters) out there who are intrusive and do not have a healthy sense of boundaries and little apparent regard for his privacy. Those are the people I worry about having his address.

    And I wonder/worry how Adam feels about all this.

    Maybe I worry too much. I am relieved that the house seems to be gated or walled off.

    Adams alias is Dusty Madrid (unless he has another one).
    I must admit I saw 7 pictures of his house on a FB site, just the out side and kitchen. Could recognise the pool, curved wall etc from pics that have been posted with Riff and Alisan Porter etc. Wouldn’t have dreamt to have delved further to find an address, not that it would mean anything to me anyway. I just hope other fans will be able to act the same as people on here, i.e. curious to see the house but with no intention of trying to find it, or hanging around outside etc.

    cwm, I wasn’t worried at all about the fans here when I was considering my post. I just didn’t want to break any rules about what the content of the posts should be. I can tell reading between the lines that everyone here has nothing but Adam’s best interest at heart and would never jeopardize that “relationship” so I know this is a safe place to be. You’re right though that there are others out there who are not of the same mindset and we don’t want to do anything to fuel their fire.

Since I just about never go there, not sure how to make friend. Went into Community and not sure how to find you. Need help, I guess. Thanks.
