Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

    For those of you concertgoers who are particularly sensitive to mosquitos, I highly recommend this repellent:

    It is hands down the best product I have ever used, and I am VERY sensitive to all insect bites so this was an important find. I bought it in the French West Indies where peeps really know their mosquitos…

    The organizers considered the profile of some viewers and have a sprained usual protocol found in the majority of festivals in Quebec.

    Maybe we could get somewhat of an idea about the ticket sales by calling. One could say that they are interested in attending Adam’s concert and ask if there are any tickets for it. The answer will be “yes” and then take it a step further. “Is it nearly sold-out or are there lots of tickets still available?” End the conversation with, “Thanks, I’ll give this some thought”.

    I’ll volunteer the one person who is going and speaks fluent French. Wink

    I asked first about the Passport tickets. They were mailed the beginning of last week. Okay. But, I thought we were told that they were going to be sent out 2 weeks ago.

    Couldn’t tell me how many tickets have been sold for Adam’s concert … I just came right out with it, “Do you know how many tickets have been sold …”.

    One word answer: “Lots”. Smile

    “Okay … thank you”. Smile

    Just checked my mail and no Passport. Mailed the beginning of last week from Montreal most likely? Should have reached Toronto by now if they were mailed the beginning of last week. Rolls Eyes

    Kradamour thanks for the link about bug repellent. Hopefully it will arrive in time. Speaking of arriving…I’m starting to panic about my festival passport! Wondering if I should have bought a single ticket but now that probably wouldn’t arrive in time either. Can we buy once there or will our PayPal notification be enough to get us in?
    I’m a planner too so just want all my ducks in a row and starting to freak out a little!!

    Delurking to weigh in on the concert day in Ste Agathe. I’m definitely not a GA type person because I have trouble with the TALL peeps towering and trampling over me. I even have a problem with shopping at the mall at Christmas if it’s too crowded! SO…I can’t or won’t compete to get right next to the stage. I’d really love to get a bleacher seat (just so I have a spot that’s mine not because I won’t be standing! So I’m all for participating in the rotating shifts during the day so we can all try to get where we want to be.
    Those going to the show Thurs nite will get a better idea of things and,hopefully,with that info we can put things together for Friday.I don’t have a passeport ticket so no show for me but will roam around the festival area Thurs nite to get the lay of the land. Just going to go with the flow…

    Still no passport in the mail today. I’m prepared to buy a ticket when I get there if I have to, though, but I would think that the box office should be willing to issue us replacement passports if we show up with appropriate receipts. But how could we prove that we didn’t get the original and sold it or gave it to someone else.

    I’m curious to see where these bleachers will be.

    Calgary, I suspect that this year we have some mosquito mutants.I never had any problems with mosquito bites, but now I have some ugly scabs on my legs.. Frown

    I absolutely love Adam’s new home, and am impressed and pleased to see that it is relatively frugal at about 100K/year. Boy is smart with the financials and he seems to be getting a lot of bang for the buck here.
    I don’t usually enjoy modern architecture for residences, but this one has a warmth and comfort that seem to suit Adam perfectly, with just enough edge – love the clean black and white kitchen.
    And I hope that the name of the street is a portent of his life there.

    I wonder, how much this house is worth (buying v. renting).
    I’m pretty sure that Adam knows what he’s doing, this is one beautiful property.After seeing many tacky houses of other celebrities I can only bow to Adam’s good taste.

    And infinity pool looks exactly like a pool on pictures taken at other events at his place.
    I also think that this house is unique.

    Oksana2000 – by cutting and pasting the description you posted above into google, I found the realtor’s listing of the house, showing the street address. Too easy. I feel uncomfortable with this information being posted on the internet.

    Would you mind deleting the realtor’s description in your post above? Or at least changing the wording substantially so that it’s not searchable (perhaps just listing the key features of the house) ?

    I’m not crazy about the pictures of Adam’s house being posted on the internet, but I’m even more uncomfortable with his address being so easily obtainable.

    That said, it is a gorgeous house and property. Really beautiful. Adam has great taste. If that were my house, I’m not sure I’d ever leave!

    Anyway, link to that realtor site was posted on ONTD, so I don’t feel THAT quilty. I read that any links and pictures of Adam’s house are forbidden on AO, where most of the cray cray’s are residing. The last thing Adam needs in his life are some idiotic stalkers.

    Last night I saw a link in Twitter to the pictures that had been posted on fansite A (no address posted there), and from there it was a short step to find them on fansite B. So I fear that the cat is already out of the bag, but at least we’re not contributing further to it. So thanks.

    And it looks like 24/7 hasn’t posted the pictures yet, so hopefully they will resist.

    Stupidly, the poster on fansite A was convinced that it was ok to post the pictures because “they are obviously professional pictures with full permissions.” Well, duh, just because they are professional pictures from a realtor’s website does not mean that Adam is ok with those pictures (and now the address) being identified as his home. I agree, the last thing Adam needs is idiotic stalkers.

    Kradamour, using your Google approach I found out that house was rented for merely $8,100. And in that area only 41% of houses are owned, 52% are rented.
    So there must be something to it.

    Wow, ONTD is really a disgusting operation. I had never looked at it before this. I’m quite sure that people here know better and are acting accordingly judging from the conversation above, but just to be clear, the policy here will be the same as on AO, anyone posting links to the house pics or to other identifying information will be banned from the site. Conversation on this topic is ok, but there can’t be any links. I don’t mean to be harsh, but I feel very strongly that this site will not contribute to this invasion of Adam’s privacy. Thanks to Oksana2000, cwm, and Kradamour for doing the right thing on this topic, I appreciate it.
