Before I toddle off to bed, thinking of “pure.”
Hmmmmm. “pure” is not exactly how or what I think of Adam. Ahem

However, if I can take pure to mean pure as in music, well, then I would think a pure sound. Real instruments. His real voice, no tricks. ( Not that there ever were tons of tricks ), and pure blues and rock.
Pure = roots of rock and roll. Blues. Rock.
I would not be surprised at all if Adam and Ty had a co-write on his next album. Not at all.
“My strength is as the strength of ten, because my heart is pure.” In a way he is a Sir Galahad.
If I could have seen into that crystal ball, I would have said it was all a lie!
I would never make friends on the internet, and fly to Canada to meet them, and then many other places. I would never leave town to attend a concert.
I would never have a box of Adamphernalia, and never be so completely addicted to this one young man’s voice that I can never get enough.
But I did all of those things and am extremely grateful for it!
I had no idea how my life would change, and of all the wonderful friends that I would welcome into my life. You are all so special!

I had not ever looked up a youtube prior to 5 years ago.
I didn’t care about new music. Most of it didn’t interest me, and I didn’t even realize how much I missed it.

Thanks to this amazing man and our wonderful blog, I am honored to be a part of this great fandom and to have you terrific peeps as my friends. It seems that we have known each other forever. I have tears in my tired eyes ( 5 yrs of lacking sleep didn’t help) thinking about you all and the many nostalgic memories from watching this vid for the past couple of hours. Thank you again for staying on this Glambert rollercoaster ride that just keeps getting better and betterer. Lots of Adam fun ahead. Mwah!

I’m Snow White, like you HK there were a couple ones I’d have liked more choices on. About Adam and how he changed my life for the better, I am claustrophobic and like a lot of things it gets worse with age. I hadn’t flown in many years because of this. I really wanted to see Adam again and I also wanted to go to Hawaii so with the urging of an Adam friend and her support I boarded a plane for the first time in twenty-five years. It turned out to be a fantastic time and later I was able to fly alone to a concert in Phoenix. The idea of getting on a plane after all those years wouldn’t have happened without Adam.( a few valium helped too). I stayed up way too late last night watching the Adams journey video last night. I-Pads make it easy to go to bed and keep watching. My biggest Adam regret was not finding a way to go to the Canada concert that many of you attended. Come to find out much later in talking to Jlurks, he probably came thru the edge of my town after leaving family in Nebraska and cutting across Iowa on his way to St Agathe. I hope to meet more ALL fans at Queen + Adam later this year.

I think this site (and it’s longevity) is a true testament to the strong bonds Adam helps to create.(Thanks eywflyer and AL) His character fosters an environment of love and acceptance; traits that are sadly lacking in our world. For that (and for soooo many other reasons) I’m grateful to have turned my TV on 5 years ago, and to have stopped on FOX just as Adam was leaning over, crossing his fingers as he readied to enter the judges room. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, as I told my son “that guys gonna win it”. I hadn’t even heard him sing, and consequently did not stay tuned in to hear his audition, but something about him made me sure of his ascent. I finally heard his other-worldly voice during Black or White….I was hooked. Several years, concerts, and friendships later…I’M STILL HOOKED. Just thought I’d share. May you all enjoy a lovely rest of your week!

So many of the sentiments are exactly how I feel. nkd word for word identical to my experience, except for Canada. My regret was not going to the very first Fantasy springs because I was too chicken to drive alone. If I would of reached out that would not of happened. Since then I joined you all here and have been on this wild ride since. Sometimes I ask myself how does Adam turn us like he does? To me it is his mind and heart and yes his voice. He had me at Mama and I was hooked. I had no idea all the Adam info that was available at the time but what I did find kept me excited and loving him more. I thank you all for sharing Adam and yourselves with me.
