Idol tonight is not great IMO. So many guitars, plaid shirts…all looking and sounding alike. Just nobody stands out IMO. No one has the “IT” factor so far. How many times has it been said that Adam broke Idol. It’s true.

Evening – I was wondering if there would be interest in updating the Top 16 list (linked from the “Features” nav menu). That list was based on voting of performances through the EMAs in November 2011. We could do another round of nominations and voting to bring the list up to date through the end of 2013.
What do you guys think? I know there are playlists on youtube of top performances but I like having a list voted on just by folks on this site.

If you want to see a short film that will make you shed a tear and yet smile a lot go to U-Tube and put in Jonathan and Dwayne a story of love. Bridesmaid was a film about the need for Gay marriage and the sadness of it’s not being available and accepted. This film is about just the opposite. I’ve watched it twice and will probably see it again it’s that inspiring. Too bad Sauli isn’t with Adam now as he can ski and do winter sports. I’m sure there is lots to do off the slopes however.

eywflyer – Thank you for all you do! I agree with cwm – I think a top 30 list would be great (I’m sure we could do a top 50 but that seems like too many at this point). Also, I believe that’s what Idol is doing – having 30 in the final group. And, after we identify the top 30, we maybe could set up a vote for the top 13!
BTW, I too am really enjoying Idol this year. Harry definitely was a good choice for the panel. I think Adam would have been wonderful but he’s too young to be hanging out with Keith and JLo. Still hoping for a mentor role and a performance this season!

Question: Should we do an overall top 30, and maybe also top 10, 15 or 20 of categories, i.e. Top Idol, Top GNT, Top Queen, Top WAG tour, Top Other (non-tour, TV appearances, charity, whatever)? Lotsa work, but fun….

I’d like to suggest keeping our previous Top 16 which covered through 2011, and start a new list of 16, 20, 30, whatever starting in 2012 which would cover Trespassing and Queen + Adam minus the EMA performance, and Adam and Nile. I feel like if we started fresh many of those old performances, which were great, would be pushed aside. Adam has grown and changed so much as a performer since then, and it feels like a different time. Perhaps this is what you had in mind anyway.

Hi everyone!
I am liking everything from eywflyer., most of all, I’m liking seeing him post again. Yay!
I’m in agreement with starting a new list starting in 2012. Why rehash what has already been hashed out? Adam has evolved so much since our first list was made.
Why don’t we make another 16 list, that way 16 + 16 = 32. For Adam’s 32nd birthday.

Oh that Adam. Not in Bora Bora or Fiji. After all, we would have been so bored looking at more pictures of him on a wave runner, in a tank top, counting freckles and dissecting tats, commenting on dork shorts, dissing cute young beeyatches hanging on him, hoping for pics of topless Adam, sunbathing Adam, Adam with boyz.
Nope.
Not our guy. He needs to mix it up. So, we get many layers of warm clothes. And a nose ring.

That real estate post with Leila’s information on it made me have concerns for her. I can just see some cray Glambert book a showing with her just to spend time with Adam’s mom. I cringe at the thought and hope it never happens to her.
Am I being cray or just “protective” of her? Does she already have this covered with a screening process before she would meet a client? What do you guys think?
Thanks cwm, the only thing new I did on my twitter a couple days earlier was change my password. I noticed last night when I was on my I-Pad that a few strange names and languages were showing up but went to sleep. Today was a workday for me so when I got home I went in and hopefully corrected it. I had to change my password again and delete all the strange folks I was suddenly following. Why would anyone want to hack my twitter account? I’m not famous, young, witty, etc.
Mils, about Leila, I think most agents do a background check on potential buyer. It’s not hard to do these days. She is dealing I assume in fairly pricey homes. Any where she works it could be a potential problem. But it’s L.A. and lots of celebrities, paparazzi and crazy fans.
