On Idol: I had always really really liked Harry. Love his music and LOVED him on Will & Grace. Can’t stand when he is interviewed or when he has been on Idol as a mentor. He talks SO MUCH and always seems like a know it all. He is funny but he knows he is and that is annoying and obnoxious to me.
Jennifer is just clueless and Keith, as pretty as he is, bores me to tears.
If there is strong talent and not just a bunch of 15 year old cute boys with guitars that I can see in any bar, I will watch once the top 10 or so is announced.
Plus, I still think the show screwed Adam one too many times. Now that I said that watch he will be a season mentor. LOL
Really curious what you guys that watch think. If I am missing something fantastic let me know!!
Nothing fantastic tonight on Idol but I was laughing quite a bit at Harry’s antics. More than any other singing show. Very entertaining to me. Thought the production was great. Talent..meh so far except for Savion. Will keep watching.
eta: Oh and Adam & Harry would have been perfection as judges.

I sometimes watch, but generally can’t stand the Idol auditions because of all of the usual crap. It was old after a couple of seasons for me. Saying that, I really enjoyed the show tonight. A different, classier feel to it. No background sob stories, or apparent producer favorites yet. I didn’t see any real tension among the judges, they seemed to get along great.
I guess time will tell how it all will go!

Haven’t watched Idol yet, we get it tonight…will let you know my thoughts….I have high hopes that it will be a huge improvement on the last 3 years…just a bit worried about Harry. Whilst I really enjoyed him as a mentor (don’t really know him outside that), just wondering if he will get a bit much after a while..
Think Harry is a tad too impressed with himself, HK fan – but peeps seemed to like him tonight – interested in seeing the stats tomorrow.

I think the fact that a huge percentage of contestants never heard of Harry knocks him down a couple of notches. It’s only been one show so we’ll see! Love his knowledge of music structure, though but no one except maybe Keith knows what he’s talking about.
Well, just finished watching Idol, quite enjoyed it, the whoe production seems better than it has been for a while…..Keiths lovely, I even don’t mind JLo (although that first outfit/hair/makeup was awful). And Harry seems nice and knows a lot about music…..but definitely seems full of himself.

Nothing about Adam, but he said who knows who else about dates. They were at the Queen meeting, wonder if Adam was involved, would he be at the meeting? Or would that give it away? Why would it be a secret? And exciting news about the Freddie movie? What exciting movie would that be?

Hmmmm, maybe that conference call of Shoshanna was about the Queen planning dates? That could easily involve 30 people – with all the logistics of the Queen folks, venues, cities, Adam’s new album, publicity coordination, Brian’s busy schedule and fitness targets. I’m thinking mid-to-late summer/early fall.
And maybe this time around there will be a US WWRY either in Vegas, or New York, or somewhere…..

Got the site upgraded to the current WordPress version successfully this time. Sounds like we will be getting busy around here sometime in 2014 with new Queen + Adam concert threads! Hopefully the schedule won’t be as intense as it was for Adam’s solo tours when there would sometimes be 5 or 6 shows in 7 nights. With Brian and Roger being older I’d think they would want to tour at a much more leisurely pace.
……..then again, maybe the small business is shares in Bootsy’s!!!
