…crawling to the keyboard…been away a couple of days…how did I end up catching the plague from all you guys that got sick after the last show?
Spent the entire day in bed with Will & Grace reruns. There was a marathon on WE today. Loved that show so much. A particular highlight for me was that I forgot that Bobby Cannavale played Will’s boyfriend, Vince. It was so nice to see him in a nice, funny role, after his unforgettable Emmy winning role on Boardwalk Empire.
What is Adam up to? Relaxing? High? Clues? Methinks it’s all of the above. Time will tell.
Gotta go back to bed…head is fuzzy…

Maybe it’s because I’m sicky, but, there is a vaporizer, a candle, and some essential oils, a remote control, a lamp, and an empty glass.
I think he signed some major deals in New York, went clubbing out in the cold air, and came home with a virus. He’s soothing himself with some trippy music, breathing moist air, scented his candle with essential oils, and is trying to relax and get better. The empty glass was from taking some medicine.

You know, hkfan reading that follow up -it is striking to understand the impact and reach Adam has had in the world. The number of people may not be huge but big enough that even if he NEVER did another thing in the public eye he has changed many lives for the better by helping people be proud, happy and more accepting of themselves and others – it is inspiring. Regardless of sales, chart numbers or radio play his message is making a difference and that is pretty damn special.

I got a kick yesterday out of all of the speculation about Adam’s clues. It will be fun to see how this plays out. I’m fully in the camp of those thinking that he’s telling us he’s signed to Lava Records. I loved how he not only use drift + descent + flame, but also LAVampire music and reference to BTR. Adam is so clever.
And I agree aely, he is also inspiring to so many. I loved reading that story of the Vietnamese businessman. He was so passionate in his writing about what Adam had done for him. How painful it must be to live under the specter of constant fear and self-shame that he describes.
Well, at least I could get in!! It looks like the couple days I was sick and not online, I missed the problems. Glad to see you CWM.

Mils . Try updating flash. Just right click on the video and it should tell you Flash info. Follow the link and it will tell you what the latest version is and what you have.
After you determine if you have the latest version of Flash, right click on the video again and check settings. Then check the box that says Enable hardware acceleration.
ETA If the box for hardware acceleration is already checked try unchecking it.

Adam was photographed out and about both Friday night and Saturday night. He ain’t sick. I don’t even think he was high when he made the videos. I’m picturing him taking great joy in scheming out all the different clues.
One of the most important indicators of Adam’s intent to me is that he posted the “Drift” video at about 7:30am, then “Decent”. Then a few hours later, he corrected “Decent” to “Descent” and added “Flame.” He was intent on putting these video clues out there. It wasn’t impulsive, and it wasn’t the result of being spaced out. And his video labels are very deliberate.
I love how he communicates to us in code sometimes. Not always easy to crack his code, however!

I’m reminded of the movie, Eddie and the Cruisers. It was kind of a riff on the Doors/Jim Morrison mystique. The end of the movie had the band making a record with a hellish theme, and it caused a lot of controversy, in the movie. I think it was called A Season in Hell. It was an effort to do something completely different than the band had done before.
I have the newest version. I clicked on settings, Not working.
Maybe I’ll re-boot again.

I don’t know why everyone is agonizing about what the clues could mean! The answer couldn’t be more obvious!
Each tribe member needs a flame to light their torches during tribal council. They make many descents into the jungle to search for Immunity Idols. First thing they do is drift to the shore on boats. The Challenges must be played by the rules. Suntan oils are essential with the constant exposure to the sun. This experience will be so far outside of his wheelhouse that Adam will have to put himself on remote control to get through it. A group picture was taken of the new cast in New York – that’s why Adam was there. Lava – there’s a volcano on the island.
So, there you have it. Adam is going to be on the next season of “Survivor”.
I really don’t think that it can be anything else.
It’s as good a guess as anything else we’ve seen!

Isn’t Dracula shot in Budapest? I love the speculation but, I doubt this one. Also, the episode in Dracula is Descend not Descent and there is nothing tying to Drift. But, jeez, who the hell knows. As, RON proved you can make lots of things fit the clues. LOL
Adam could be the “turn to” guy to save possibly cancelled shows.
