I think the video is going to be the light and dark side of Adam himself, but I think we had figured that out. We saw the pic of him on set in the long black EMA coat, so that’s the dark, the sweater wearing dude is the light, obviously, in the bright yellow room watering plants!
Now what are they going to do with this????!!!!

I love this one, it starkly shows the dark to light aspect, the window between the two rooms…and I loved hearing that our control freak wanted and got a lot of creative control…and I totally love that sweater on him.

In WWFM, there were the black and grey tones, the shots of him in the limo, feeling lonely, famous.

The “dark side” of that set cracks me up! There’s the skull that was the source of some very entertaining comments at mj’s – someone said it was a horse’s skull, then someone else pointed out that horse’s don’t have horns … unless they come from Planet Fierce like Adam! Anyway, can’t wait to see the final product – Ray Kay’s FYE was my hands down fave from FYE.

So agree about FYE video. In fact I can almost say that FYE video may be my favorite video of all time from any artist. And of course I love love love the song too. Ray Kay looks like a cross between Bowie and Sauli to me.
I think on Adam’s next tour he’ll incorporate a couple of songs from FYE. Maybe WWFM because that was his hit, but I want to see Sleepwalker another time. Still (like others have said…including Leno), cannot understand why that song wasn’t released as a single.
Adam should be getting on a plane soon. With the Europe promotion going on, maybe RCA is hoping that the video will carry us over until he returns and can keep promoting here. He’s got to get on the East coast talk shows I think.

I know – I love everything about that video, from the marquis with “Ray Kay” on it, Adam’s BA entrance, and especially the footage at the end with Adam (wearing that off-the-chart black catsuit from Mars
) and the band. Evidently others in the industry liked it as well, because there are two very high profile videos that I think straight-up copied the FYE video!
Haha, I think we could rent out rooms in that sweater! Of course, some “units” would be considered “prime real estate”!

Sorry I have to vent, please delete if out of line. Nele, a Kris fan and Desedmona a James fan say that Adam looks so gay in the lovely sweater, I never go on Kris or James threads, maybe just to read once and awhile, so can I go there and say that Kris or James looks so straight in whatever they have on???MJ leaves the stupid comments on there about Adam, I really am loosing respect for her to allow those kinds of comments.
Why the hell do those people even bother to come on an Adam thread anyhow, just to make rude comments, sorry it has kinda ruined my day, about the video. Darn, and come backs to them will get you deleted or banned. Again sorry for the rant, I just like to read peoples comments about the video over there, but is it necessary for them to say its a gay sweater and men wouldnt be caught dead in one.

UGH!!! I was browsing through some of the messages on the group birthday card and noticed that there are quite a few ugly, hateful, and mean messages obviously from non-fans/trolls. Someone needs to be “moderating” and deleting these awful comments. Some peeps are posting pics of Neil and other celebrities with phony nasty messages. The messages seem to be okay at the beginning, but get much worse as you scroll through the pages.

TLKC, I know you just forwarded the card, but after reading some of the comments, I just can’t sign this one. I don’t know how people can go on someone’s birthday card and be so nasty. It hurts me to think that Adam will read all of this. Too bad we can’t delete other folks’ nasty comments and wishes.
ETA: The nasty comments started on page 25 I think. Guess I shouldn’t have been so nosey to see what others wrote, then I wouldn’t have been so sad about this.

Well, I see that I’m not the only one who looked and am irate about the nasties on the card. They do seem to get worse as the pages go on.
Well tell me what does Adam do to make people be so nasty? I realy only care about his voice and his performing, what do people have aganist him? I dont get it???????????
