I agree with Kradam. The part 2 of Parker’s interview may be the best ever. So much said, so much to process. So articulate.
About MJ’s, you guys do see me post there, sometimes daily. I have learned to stay positive, avoid talking back to anybody, and I stay away from defensive or negative posts.
I think MJ makes so many Adam threads not because she’s such a big fan. I think she does it to give people who need to be vocal about Adam a proper place to do so. Otherwise, Adam subjects hijack other threads, and it pisses her off. So she gives Adam fans and haters a playground. Then, she pokes her head in, decides on a whim what pisses her off, and warns and deletes.
Mj makes money on hits. She’s not stupid. Having Adam related subjects makes her a sh*tload of money. Who else could bring in the number of hits she gets daily?
Where and in what thread is the controversy you guys are referring to? Is there a time/date I could find?
Checked in with Ceddies and I just got a nice email back from her – she can’t post or open any of the links, her computer is acting up and she is very frustrated – this is NOT the time to lose Adam connectivity!
Lately, I just love Home Planet. And here, of course, is “home”. Mj’s is for “news.” 24/7 too. But I stopped reading posts there. Just can’t take it over there with the fan fic and crays.
And I still have ALF. I rarely do anything there other than send and receive fan mail. I just keep it for any potential M&G opportunity or ticket/promo situations.

They aren’t just hateful to other idols/fans of other idols. There’s lots of infighting and jealousy among some of Adam’s fans. Just uncalled for. Case in point from earlier today. It’s downright awful. This was a fansite mod..but no longer.

And I have been just skimming over the comments here about MJs (because I honestly wish that everyone would let what happens on MJs, stay at MJs, as the saying goes. No need to bring that here, IMHO) and it makes me so sad that there is crap in paradise.
I have met some of the over-entitled fans, and don’t need to meet them again, but doubtless will.
I guess what we have to remember is that Adam’s fans number in the hundreds of thousands. His fans doubtless mirror the larger world, at least to some extent. If even one percent of peeps are hateful/negative/ugly, that is a lot of hateful/negative/ugly fanpeeps.
Every interest group has at least a few members who eat their own. One would think that Adam, who is all about love, would not attract negativity, but of course he does. A lot of people see things in Adam that they cannot find in themselves. And these peeps want it for themselves, and aren’t able to understand the concept that love expands exponentially to embrace all, so there is jealousy, entitlement, and general f*ckery. (shakes head)
It is what it is, peeps. Acknowledging it and avoiding it without feeding it is the route I choose and recommend. It ain’t that deep, and neither are the bitter pseudo-fans who come to the door of Adam World and can’t figure out that the key they need for entrance can’t be bought or counterfeited. It is forged out of love. They will always be on the outside looking in.

My mom’s knee was extremely swollen and red the first time and they placed her on some more meds. I know that each surgery is different.

Checked Idol Chatter, but looks like BTIKM did not chart in the Top 200 single sales this week

I think that’s a great, especially with it being a little under two months before it’s released. I think all the news and the banners are starting to take affect. Certainly the release of the music video will make a big difference. I know VH1 is ready for it, because they just played WWFM.
I don’t doubt for a second that this album will outsale the first easily. I think the album will be more emotionally driven and have a contemporary sound that will attract more fans both here in the States, but also overseas. I don’t get wrapped up in others negativity because most of time it’s driven by their own preferences, jealousies and the fact that Adam is not some kind of quiet humble guy who hides his light under a bushel. He’s confident and a force of nature and there are those who don’t like that in others, especially when it comes to Idols. I don’t have a one ounce of fear for this album, because it’s going blow people’s minds and make them take notice of Adam Lambert. I am breathless to hear, Underneath, Trespassing and Cukoo, those three particularly have me panting to hear some kind of snippet to hold me off until the album is released. I can’t wait for this album to drop, because it will drive home, just how far Adam has grown as a man and an artist since the release of FYE. He’s going to surprise a lot of people.

kradamour, I understand your comment, but I think any discussion about that that takes place here is handled with thoughtfulness and maturity. And, it actually is part of being Adam’s fan and supporter, so for me it’s nice to discuss some of these frustrations here – it gives me a better understanding of where these other fans are coming from and how to better deal with them. For instance, I learned that someone who I thought was absolutely not an Adam fan actually might be (a little!).

I think this MTV interview is very interesting because Adam acknowledges the similarity between WWFM and BTIKM, calling the new song it’s cousin. The couple of you who said that it could be a “bridge” between the old and new albums are correct IMO. It makes sense to me now to have this as the first single. No shock like FYE was after stepping off of Idol.

To be honest, I’m not totally thrilled to hear that the BTIKM video is a “cousin” to the WWFM video. The WWFM video was my least favorite out of all the videos. But hey, watching Adam on screen singing and acting is a treat no matter what!
