Re that rumor about the 2nd single promo in the UK, I’m confused now. Isn’t BTIKM being released there on March 12, and Trespassing on March 19th? Those were firm dates I believe, per AO. So how can he be promoing a second single in Feb before the first one is even released? (Not that I would mind, of course!)

My sister is only 62, her surgery was also on the 9th. She’s having low grade fevers now (in spite of Motrin, Percocet, and antibiotics) and lots of pain in the afternoon. Does that sound familiar? Also swelling and redness.

riskylady I pray that your sister gets past this bump in the road. I know I’ve been told that having a knee replaced is a little harder than a hip. We’ve not had to face the knees yet. My partner had her hip done last year and is doing ok. Good luck to you and especially her.

Also, re some of Adam’s more aggressive and entitled fans, I sometimes answer haters on his YouTubes. I answered one on WLL the other day, reminding him that Zeppelin gave permission for the Idol performance, that it was even better live, and just as an aside mentioned that I had seen him live 5 times.
Well, this Glambert jumped on that very aggressively saying in effect that she was a better fan because she saw him 11 times.
Huh? So I said, the point of my post was the Zeppelin song, not how many concerts I attended. She answered giving me a lecture, lol, that Adam was Adam and could sing whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. (Like I don’t know that????)

Enjoy that jazz/musicfest back home!! Three nights of music — liking it already. But yea, three nights of Adam would be changing my “liking” to “astonishing” and “astounding”.
LOL….. Especially from a Seinfeld fan such as me! I have seen and loved every single episode at least 3 times.
Ok this settles it. I had considered watching the half time show for the Super Bowl. But they jus said Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. will also join her. Not what I would consider supporting the gay. I just can’t take Minaj. I love my “queens” but straight divas put me over the top. Not to mention I don’t find her that talented. Boy this is the only place I would say these things. I liked them all. Adam shares a lot of his thinking about the music and his state of mind at the moment. One thing that’s new in the “being in love” segment is that he talks about what the song “Chokehold” is about. I liked hearing about that. I also liked hearing him talk about how in love and happy he is with Sauli.
And in the “fan questions” segment, he appears to shoot down rumors of an Olympics appearance with Queen.

OMG OMG That man could talk for hours and I’d still be glued to the screen. Love, love him and Lyndsey. And guess what I went back and ordered more albums. I don’t know where they will go but I’ll find fans who can’t afford them. I just want this man to succeed!
OMG that Part 2 of the Lyndsey interview was fantastic! I agree rainbowgal I just wanted them to keep going and going! So much richness and depth in what he said. And so many details about songs — including one we haven’t heard about before (Naked Love).
Geez, I get teary just hearing his verbal descriptions of some of these vulnerable songs on the “dark side.” I can only imagine what a wreck I’m going to be to hear him actually singing them. Gah.

luval – I don’t “defend” Adam if someone looks askance. Just basically say – that’s the way it is, baby – he’s the best singer around today. You don’t think so,? don’t give a poop whether you do or not.
He has the best chuckle! It is infectious.
I just watched the Lyndsey Parker vids…part 2 is definitely my all-time-favorite Adam interview. Meaty, serious, open, articulate…almost more information than I can process right away.
I love that he is being so open about the glam and the heavy makeup having been a little bit defensive, something to hide behind, and that he doesn’t feel the need to do that any longer. I just love hearing him talk about how proud he is of the work on this album…he said some similar things about FYE, but they never rang as true and solid. There is such a wonderful confidence and maturity to his interviews this round.
And you know, I think that the “incident” in Finland may have been just what Adam needed to make him stop and say “whoa! need to re-evaluate!” and make that positive leap into his 31st year. 30 is really a milestone birthday, and I wondered how Adam would address it.
Love that Adam talked about the efforts needed to turn a studio album into a live show and has kept that in mind during the creative process. This is the interview that made me excited about the album. Until now, I was willing to have a new album, but not expecting to like it, just waiting for the tour and live music. This interview made me think that I might like the album, too.
Love the new fashion look, the “architectural” approach as he called it – it so suits his stature and facial features.
Okay, I could ramble on forever but all of you are likely thinking the same things and there is no reason for me to hog the posts.
But damn I am so happy for him and for us who love him.
So much to catch up on. Its taken me ages, the Internet seems really bad the last couple of days here..maybe its the cold weather! its been down in single figures the last few days, about 7c, which is blooming cold when you are sitting in a concrete box with no heating and no insulation!!

I haven’t seen any of the ‘entitled’ fans, there weren’t any at the HK concert, thanks goodness by the sound if it.
I also ‘liked’ oksannas and jlurks comments on MJ’s. I still lurk on there more than post, but do find it very negative at times. When it first changed format I was able to finally post with ease. But now when I go to sign in it always comes up invalid password, so everytime I want to post a comment I have to get an e-mail sent to my account, log in there, change my password (which in itself is weird as I just make my existing password my new one..), save it, go back to MJ’s, refresh the page…then I can finally comment..
love all the interviews, especially Lyndseys as she asks intelligent questions and lets him talk without butting in all the time, the insider one was even better…with no interviewer!
