I agree that TOby was just trying too get hits from Adam fans. We should have known that I guess because he has never been a fan of Adams….

I really believe that BTIKM could do really well if they play it on radio….Z100 who was big supporter of WWFM has Adam’s album cover and a link to BTIKM song on their site..Hopefully this means they will add the song soon…Fingers crossed. I went to it and left a message….
It’s sad that people have to be so negative. If you like a certain singer then go support that singer. But don’t think tearing down another singer is the way you support your’s. Such a sad way. I would think that Adam’s fans being positive, supportive and welcoming to everyone would gain him more fans in the long run. (Raining my glass of wine) Here’s to all those who post here and lurk here. I can’t think of a better group of fans to hang with. Here! Here!

Oh I love the Lindsey Parker interview!!! When he says “I know I’m a little bit insane”…made me laugh! And IMO when he was talking about the song Kickin In, that he’s narrating…to me that means he’s gonna rap! No wonder people would say “that’s Adam?”! Can’t wait to see if I’m correct. lol

I’ve not ordered from Fault before, but I did figure converting to US dollars the cost of 1 magazine with shipping at their usual 15 pounds (don’t know where the pound symbol is) was about $33.

Rainbowgal4, I wish that all Adam fans were what you mentioned, but they are not. This year for instance some have been down right evil to James Durbin. I mentioned it one time here. I recently started to follow on twitter an Adam fan who was going to the Leno show and one of her post was that she felt bad as almost all of the negative tweets sent to or were about James had Adam or Glam in their twitter names. Most are hoping he will flop, hate his songs, call him names, etc. I am a person who dislikes negativity. I try to avoid negative people but I understand that not every one loves Adam. MJ’s is a great blog IMO. Most of us met there. Its not a fan site and she allows freedom of expression (opinions) about any of the Idols, just not the fans who post there. There is so much more positive in the Adam threads that I just skim over the negative ones. Great interviews recently and waiting for more to come. I love the album cover but can’t look at it very long as his eyes are too much.
JOJOSIE You are so thoughtful. I agree that it’s sad that Adam has fans that are hateful to someone else. It’s like if you stand back everything will settle and each entertainer will end up where they are supposed to be. Support the ones you like and encourage others to do the same. That’s how I like to roll. I still go to mjs. I like her site but I don’t spend a lot of time reading the comments. I read some but my time gets limited sometimes and I can barely keep up here. Good to “talk” with you. I think of you often!
nkd…it was a little wacky. I went to that link above, clicked on the part where it said you have to “like” on facebook. Then of course you have to log into facebook to go any further.
Look for “special 10 issue” or something like that on the left side under the Fault picture. Click on that. From there it got a little confusing…seemed like I had to sign in again to facebook. But then I got to the order part.
eta: tried it again…right after clicking on “special 10 issue” you should see “place deposit” or something like that.
It is interesting that the issue might cost as little as 4 pounds 50 (price reduced by 1 pound 50 for each 500 pre-orders).
I think they are really smart to pre-sell like this to meet all demand.

nkd I think I might hire a cleaning lady. I can never keep that up even when Adam was quiet. And I imagine that Adam is getting ready to travel over seas.
There is word of a livestream for the snowcase this Sunday. I’ll post the link I have, but we’ll have to check it later. But at least that means maybe we’ll have video!

Tks, all, for your nice comments about my rant. Just had to vent. Seems like common sense sometimes gets lost in the mad rush to judgement over there.
I suppose Adam will leave the States soon, maybe Thursday, to get over the perilous jetlag before performing. I think he’s going Austria-Stockholm-UK. Should be lots of goodies from that!
My favorite part of the Lindsay interview, when he gets soooo enthusiastic about singing Trespassing – and how he just can’t wait to sing it live, wants the stomping, stepping, moving. He really gushes about how much joy he gets from singing – don’t think I ever heard him do that with such enthusiasm. Also, describing how he went back to his time before Idol and why he wanted to make music in the first place.

They aren’t just hateful to other idols/fans of other idols. There’s lots of infighting and jealousy among some of Adam’s fans. Just uncalled for. Case in point from earlier today. It’s downright awful. This was a fansite mod..but no longer.
Her hubby tried to explain:
Ok peeps, I’m off to the airport in a couple of hours. I should have my laptop (if I remember to grab it) but limited time to check it since I’ll be attending a 3 night Jazz/Musicfest in the home nation. The second night the main act will be Celine Dion. Wish it were Adam instead! The last night, Saturday, will have Ceelo Green as headliner. Each night goes from 6pm thru 3am! I’ll try not to get sunburn! Will say a quick hi here and there. Big hugs!

Interesting about Ulli leaving ALF. I met her right “at the beginning” at one of the AI concerts. Really nice person. She and a couple of other gals put together Adam Jr for promotion. All for Donors Choose. Selling tee-shirts outside of the venue, photos with Adam jr., the e-bay sale (which I bid and won him). Her husband is just as nice. I also ran into her again at Foxwoods…in the elevator! Again, so gracious and nice.
The site isn’t what it used to be so maybe it’s good she left.

It amazes me how she/he is allowed to say such negative, riot-inciting things, but when someone responds to her, they oftentimes get in trouble. Guess it comes back to that stupid (lol) rule about commenting on the thread … Oh well, that’s why I only lurk there, never comment. The negativity there sort of bummed me out last night, too.

I can’t believe that twitlonger that Cher posted. Was Ulli a mod at the official site? (not AO, but the other one?) I actually remember seeing her name in the Monte debate as well.
These people scare me, and I’m on the same side as they are. If they do this to one of their own, I don’t want to think what they would do to a perceived enemy.
I think I may have seen one or two crazy ones in Seattle. cwm, Smeggs, Barb, do you remember? One of them kept going to her car in the parking lot next to us. I’m sure she was first in line or thereabouts.
Luckily I managed not to notice them at other shows where I was at.
Anyway, they’re not really following Adam’s example of spreading love are they?

I feel like such a sheltered fan. And that’s a good thing, I think. The only places I go to for information about Adam is here and a little at mjs. I only know about the other sites because of the links made available here. And as I said before I don’t spend much time on the comments at mjs. After reading Texas’ comment to jlurksacto I’m now certain that this will be the place I hang. I feel so sorry for anyone who’s attacked, especially over the internet. I sure those that know this person, Ulli, will give her the support it seems she deserves.
So thank you again for all you wonderful people. I think Adam would be proud of this site. The civility is the clouds. We can disagree and no one is attacked. You all deserve a huge pat on the back.

rainbowgal, I agree, it is such a treat to share our thoughts and concerns on this site without fear of being “block quoted” and criticized/discussed to death (not to mention the humiliating comment you might earn from mj herself). I do, however, enjoy mj’s because there are some great Adam fans who post there and share lots of interesting information. (It’s also good for a bit of a reality check sometimes, lol!)

Couple of days ago I quoted someones stupid rant about Adam and simply wrote under the quote “Yeah.Right”
