In addition to all of the radio interviews, I also enjoyed the music/singing lesson that Adam gave today. That was fun. I love to hear him talking about music and singing. Watching/hearing him sing has definitely taught me to be a better singer.
cwm, are you really a singer? If so, I’m sure that following and enjoying Adam’s career has brought an extra element of pleasure to you! I was/am a pianist (practiced more “back in the day”), so I REALLY enjoyed the addition of Kevin – I thought he was amazing.
Ryan’s show comes on here at a time that I am usually in the car picking up kids after school, and I’ve oftentimes thought he said things that were beneath him … making him sound like a total tool. I don’t get it – he’s accomplished so much, but his humor is oftentimes very sophomoric, almost crude. I didn’t enjoy his interview with Adam, and I found his comments regarding a certain segment of Adam’s fanbase (MY segment, lol), offensive. I think Ryan has Little Man’s Disease.
I love Adam interviews. Those last two videos that cwm posted were great! I especially love the Sandy Stec one, like a lot of you.
When he was talking about his fans, awww, and then she asked him about the crazies, I thought he was going to say my fans are crazy! He was so sweet.
And like you, Kradamour , I feel that pride in this album, like this is what he’s been waiting to make his whole life. I’m super excited for it myself!
I had always sort of liked Ryan, but today I think I could have strangled him! Peeps on twitter said he did play BTIKM a few minutes after the interview. I turned it off as soon as Adam was done!
Loved the twitter music lesson today! With all of these appearances, interviews and excitement, I’m falling deeper into the abyss. The Adam abyss!
This is what I hear in the Seacrest interview. They were coming back from a break and it started with Ryan saying they were talking about him coming on and “She” said he is dating the winner of Turkish Idol. Then “She” breaks in to talk about everything happening when we were sleeping. I don’t know who “She” is but it was not Ryan who thought Sauli was from Turkish Idol, he was just relaying the story to Adam. Ryan correctly said that Sauli was from Big Brother.
I didn’t care for the statements he made about the fans, but he did end the interview with saying how smart and clever Adam is.
Loved the Sandy Stec interview.
Now if I had seen Adam sitting at the gate at the airport, I’m not sure what I would do! Maybe tap him on the shoulder and ask what he’s listening to. His own new music, can I have a listen too please?!!!

I keep hearing mixed reports about this. Some are saying that this happened approximately 30 minutes after the interview and was only in response to Glamberts calling the station and complaining. Others are saying that it was just played online.
Who knows….. It could be all of the above or none.
The interview was a total waste of Adam’s time as well as mine!
Texas – Well, I sing, but it might be a bit of a stretch to call me a “singer.” haha I’m not a soloist or anything. I have always loved singing casually, but only recently decided I was at a place in my life when it was time to be a little more serious about it. Actually this was inspired in no small part by Adam. So I’ve participated in some choral workshops and I’m now in a choir – a smallish ensemble of about 10 people. We sing a wide variety of styles of choral music, I’ve learned a lot, and I love it.
It really can be so exhilarating when it comes together the way it should. I was recently part of a larger choir that performed Vivaldi’s Gloria for the holidays (a very challenging but amazing piece of music), and the performance was so thrilling to be a part of, it literally felt like one of the high points of my life.
I think rainbowgal has also said that she sings. Am I remembering correctly, rainbowgal?

Cwm – you have an amazing memory. Yes I do sing. How lucky/fun that you got to do Gloria. I love that one. ITA about the feeing you get when a piece comes off perfect. I always felt like I was cleansed – my soul my heart. Since my bout with neck cancer I don’t sing with a group and I miss that. Hope to return to my group in the future. In the mean time I run humidifiers and sing for my dogs. Sometimes they sing along.

While I’m at it, I wanted to express my condolences for your recent loss. In addition, I seem to remember that your partner was recently facing a health concern, wasn’t she? I hope that she is doing better now. Sounds like you’ve had your share of hard things lately. {{hugs}}
Agree! But who doesn’t? Almost everyone that interviews Adam ends up crushing on him. Male, female, straight, gay! It’s universal! Some people just don’t know it yet!

Cher. That pop justice review had me laughing in so many places. Again how do we wait til March?
How do we wait? It’s hard! I’m still not very fond of BTIKM but I have to admit this morning I was singing some of the song in the bathroom and I was so surprised when I realized what I was singing. Not that I can sing at all. Horrible singer.
So I guess it’s catchy and having watched replays of Ellen and Leno a few times, it’s stuck in my head. 
I’m really excited to read the album reviews and am chomping at the bit to hear the rest. So rainbowgal4 until March 20th, we count the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks until the release of Trespassing!

I hope he’s careful who he thanks in his liner notes. Was looking at FYE the other day and there was all this love for Drake.
I love all the great album reviews coming out of the UK.
It is like they are making up for ignoring him last year. I just hope that he gets radio play. Last time he was there for a promo visit they loved him, but then months later, when the single and album came out, nada, the radio was silent. 
I know that he has really great people promoting him in the UK this time, and I think that it is good that the single and the album are being released almost simultaneously, but I hope that the month between his visit in February and the release in March only builds up anticipation (like with us) and doesn’t make people forget what is coming.
And more than almost anything, I am hoping that when Adam’s music is a huge success in both the US and the UK, that they will start playing him on the radio here.
He is known and loved (mostly by kids)and has been on the cover of magazines, but there has been hardly any radio play.
Just want to say to all of you, what a pleasure it is to read this blog!!! Such interesting, literate, thoughtful commenters (also hilarious). Adam attracts such wonderful people.
Was wondering, after some of these interviews – could we ever come up with a top 20? Maybe even harder than the performance list! But Sandy Stec was wonderful, and I also loved Adam showing a little naughtyness with the two gay DJs (do NOT want to lose that part of him).
Well, some consolation re the Ryan Seacrest thing, the Today Show clan apparently cackled and guffawed over the rumor that Ryan would replace Matt Lauer lol. (Not a huge fan of Matt’s either, he’s a little full of himself too IMHO.)
And, Yes, Ryan, Adam’s tongue is MUCH more talented than yours will ever be. And, Sauli is hotter than Julianne.
It’s more than that, nkd – so many times Ryan goes into the sexual angle. Interview with Kris and Adam during Idol8 and Ryan kept asking about their rooming together till Adam finally said – hey, I sing, too. Ryan’s intros to Adam’s performances often had a sexual/gay tinge. And not to speak of the mentoring/tongue explicitness. Creepy.
Haha, wondering how all those MJers that say Adam only looks good with pounds of makeup/or wears pounds of makeup are handling all the beautifulness nowadays? Must be really frustrating for them, poor things.

There are many questions about Ryan sexuality and if he’s hiding the fact that he’s gay then the confident Adam would drive him nuts! I’ve seen that so many times. When you look back on Ryan’s interviews it’s only Adam that creates that response. And Adam knows that. Some of the people who have been the roughest with me, later come back to say they are sorry once they come out. And all along I suspected that was why they acted the way they did.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. I want to assure everyone that in my home we are all well now (finally). We’re like most people our ages. Like my daughter-in-law tells us that the object is to get to the end of the line with totally worn out body parts. That means that you lived a very active, busy, fun life. So I sing and dance every chance I get. I exercise (that’s not always the fun part) because I want to get to meet as many of you as I can. And I want to travel to as many of Adam’s concerts that will work for us. And I wish that for all of you.
AHH!Back on line. Computer been in shop again, (PSSST) I think I got 3 viruses on my 2 computers from MJ’s, they popped up when I was on there, really bad ones, so unfortunately I am staying away from there on my computer, its safe to read on iphone, till I can afford an Apple, lol. Cost me a couple hundred dollars. Hate trying to get computer back to working order with my settings.
Anyhow, I just loved Adam on Leno, and Ellen. Short Ellen story. I am all set to watch Ellen at 4:00. I like to watch it alone so I can savor everything about it. So what happens about 3:00? My Son-in-Law ( I dont speak to my daughter, another story) comes in and says I got fired from my job at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Well I have 3 grandkids from him that we all are trying to raise, anyhow, he sits down, my husband goes to get 3 kids from school, they all come barging in, my son is living here, college music grad, in 40’s cant get him into Adam, so hes now here. Well Adam is due on and the whole damn house is full of people, I said, when Adam comes on everyone has to shut up! Ya that worked well. Stupid questions about this and that, is the blond guitar player his boyfriend? No, Who is that in the audience? Is he his boyfriend? Yes, So he is gay, Yes, thats his brother, Yes, they rewind to see him, he sticks his tongue out, Yes, try to explain, but its useless. Snickers about Adam saying his album is this and that, Ug, I was so mad. I never have anyone here at that time of day. It really breaks the mood, even have it taped, but there is nothing like the anticipation of waiting to watch it for the first time.
Anyhow I know everyone likes the Ellen performance, but I really love the Leno performance, there is something about when he sings the ending, certain notes, I dont know, like he is relived that he is done, but the notes are so smooth, not added or forced. I am sure I dont know what I am talking about, lol.

Miss Chaos Welcome back. I work off an Apple Mac and Ipad and I wouldn’t trade it for the world for just the reason you stated. I’ve had Macs since the late 80’s and never had one virus. Hope you can get your’s soon. At least you can use your Iphone to stay in touch.

I really don’t think MJ’s is virus dangerous. I go there every day and have since season five and never picked up a virus. I do tho put good virus protection on my computers. I think I’ve heard all the current radio interviews now and seen the shows so now it’s hard to just sit and wait for more. I’m not too good at twiddling my thumbs.
I feel the same way, rainbowgal. I have a regular iMac that I use at home as well as an iPad that I keep in my school (work) tote bag. The iPad comes in handy whenever I have a spare minute at work, which isn’t too often. This is the site I check out whenever I can.
I’m also sorry to hear about your son-in-law, Miss Chaos, and hope that he will find something very soon. I can tell that you must be the glue that holds your family together. I have to tell you that I adore your sense of humor. The way you retold the story surrounding the “chaos” at your home during the Ellen show was priceless! Mwah…

dcglam I watched it too – even though I will change channels when she comes on. Not a fan of that style of music and certainly not a fan of her. If she’s not trying to out do Gaga for sure she’s looking for all the attention she can get. From some of the things I’ve read about her she is a real diva and not as a compliment.
