The first month of 2012 finds Adam’s new single “Better Than I Know Myself” already making its appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, as we await the “official” radio add dates of January 23 (HAC) and January 30 (CHR). Hoping for much promo and excitement in the next few months as things build toward the release of Adam’s second album “Trespassing” on March 20. We should have a new tour to look forward to later this year as well! Enjoy the chat!

I thought Whitney’s NA was beautiful, and heard later that it was pre-recorded. I was disappointed, but understood how hard it would be to sing it live in the stadium with the sound echoing. It would be nice if Adam could do it.

I wonder if Adam and Monte met up at the Superbowl without Lisa present, whether or not they would be able to resolve their personal differences. I don’t expect them to tour together again, but I’d like to think they could still be friends.

I was not impressed with the KC tweet. Maybe it was just the word choice, but it sounded more like an insult than a compliment. Glass half full? At least Adam was mentioned like everyone knows who he is and what he’s kinown for–MUSIC.

I think this is something KC said onstage at a NYE performance and some guy tweeted about it. KC did not tweet about Adam that I know of. People say things during performances, and I, at least didn’t take it as meaning anything negative towards Adam. However, since we did not see the performance or the context in which it was said, it’s hard to know exactly.

Wonderful! We’re definitely getting together on January 29th for Sunday brunch. The restaurant has been chosen but I don’t think a time has been set yet. Probably noon so that we can make a full day of it.

I really liked this review. I loved how the critic alluded to the song’s intensity growing on him after repeated listenings. That seems to be the opinion of so many. I also loved the last line of the review about how, as a talented pop singer, Adam recognizes the importance of quiet vulnerability as well as “epic bombast.” ITA with this and is the primary reason I love this song (“Outlaws of Love” fits into this category, too). I just love how Adam manages to infuse emotional power into his quiet, beautiful melodies. His vocally bombastic singing provides obvious, in-your-face strength, but sometimes even more gripping to me are those lines he sings that you can feel come straight from his soul. OK, I guess I’m starting to sound a little like Paula did on Idol, LOL! I was just excited to see that a reviewer feels the same way I do!

I remember in an old interview where someone asked Adam who’s style he admired and he said, of course Freddie mercury. That he loved his bombastic vocals and stage presence. I love that word bombastic. Am gonna try to fit it in in my daily conversation at the hospital.

It’s not so much a video as it is an audio and there’s a continuity issue but the sound is very good.

OMG, love that Shanghai video, Ron. Wow, that was quite a rendition of FYE (like the album – glory notes all over), and good sound. That voice!!!!
He looked gorgeous too. Overall, I’d say just from the rest of snippets, they definitely got their money’s worth and then some. He always gives his best. I’ve never known an artist who really loves every audience as much as Adam, really WANTS to entertain them so much every single time.

Adam sounded great. His vocals are amazing.

I wrote a comment on that video and got a few answers back that they did the same as my comment.

I said Adam sounded great. I can’t believe that I’m staring at the black screen, not even blink, for fear that I’ll miss Adam if the video shows him at all. Ha..ha.. something like that I can’t remember.

I thought he was doing ROF when he did that run (?) at about 3:50, but it was still DTRH. So beautiful, kinda mid-eastern-ish, kinda geisha-ish…he is amazing.

We have been in Southern California for the last 5 days and really wanted to go to the Rose Bowl game today, but we weren’t able to be there because we had to start our journey back north toward Oregon this morning. So we’re now doing a stopover in the Bay Area watching it on TV.

The weather in SoCal is ridiculously beautiful right now – it was in the low 80s and crystal clear the whole time we were there.

Remember Adam’s romantic sunset tweet on New Year’s eve? The sunsets in SoCal over the last few days have just been spectacular and very romantic. *sigh*

I see Adam and Sauli had a nice quiet NYE, as said above, wise choice boys.

I’m an alum, 2 nephews there,and son #2 was just accepted, You Rah Rah Wisconsin!!

Loved the Shanghai vid. Loved the sign language vid. Loved the pic of them out for a “private” NYE dinner. Loved the Steven Tyler, Alice Cooper and Weird Al vid too.

Didn’t love the picture of so many cocktails, bottle of liquor ( Saki?), on the table. Sorry. I know it was NYE, but considering recent events…..

Just read an article that was discussing research into social media posting about drinking. It talked about the link between frequency of posts about or mentioning drinking and the likelihood of having a drinking problem. It didn’t give actual numbers, but linked the two. Again, sorry, but I come from, the state with the highest binge drinking and most alcohol consumption in the country. So I guess I’m sensitive to it.

Go Madison!!! I'm an alum, 2 nephews there,and son #2 was just accepted, You Rah Rah Wisconsin!! Loved the Shanghai vid. Loved the sign language vid. Loved the pic of them out for a "private" NYE dinner. Loved the Steven Tyler, Alice Cooper and Weird Al vid too. Didn't love the picture of so many cocktails, bottle of liquor ( Saki?), on the table. Sorry. I know it was NYE, but considering recent events..... Just read an article that was discussing research into social media posting about drinking. It talked about the link between frequency of posts about or mentioning drinking and the likelihood of having a drinking problem. It didn't give actual numbers, but linked the two. Again, sorry, but I come from, the state with the highest binge drinking and most alcohol consumption in the country. So I guess I'm sensitive to it. I know you’re sensitized mils, but I think they’re ok.

Think they’re fine. The crazy argument probably let all the angst/problems that had been building up out in the open – like lancing a boil. Good to do it now rather than waiting a few months/years. An accommodation has apparently been reached. That’s my theory anyhow.

Yeah, I didn’t care for Axl with Queen, and like you, I liked Elton even though his voice is no where near Freddie’s, but it is sincere.
To be fair, the video appears to be a recent upload of one ULed in 09 which has almost 900,000 views. I must have copied the wrong one, even though the content is the same.
