On another note, I watched Oprah’s interview with Steven Tyler on her new show on OWN. Now, that was very entertaining. He spent a lot of time explaining why he was so nice on Idol, even to some of the bad singers. He’s a softy down deep. But, seriously, that show does need some snark back, and some honesty.
Can’t believe Idol starts next week! It’s still my favorite singing show. Over at MJ’s she has threads for some singers who have made it through. I skip all them. Too much information.

looked up oofta, apparently it is an ‘expression used to convey surprise, exhaustion or a bunch of other feelings a Norwegian may have’.
That tat on Saulis hand doesn’t look like oofta to me, can’t see the f anywhere, and it looks more like an 8 when you look at it sideways, but I can’t work out what the rest is.

mmm, maybe Adam is just being polite, trying to build bridges and all that, cos I saw JD performance on MJ’s, and whilst not quite as bad as some of his acoustic performances, was still pretty awful. I always thought he had lots of problems with his vocals on Idol….obviously the judges didn’t agree!!, and think he only made it so far because of his disability, and the pyro!!

Oh. And hearing “oofda” is not uncommon around my neck of the woods. Especially the farther north you go. My roommate after grad school was from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan ( yup, she’s a Yooper) and she used to say “oofda” all the time.
