The first month of 2012 finds Adam’s new single “Better Than I Know Myself” already making its appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, as we await the “official” radio add dates of January 23 (HAC) and January 30 (CHR). Hoping for much promo and excitement in the next few months as things build toward the release of Adam’s second album “Trespassing” on March 20. We should have a new tour to look forward to later this year as well! Enjoy the chat!

Hi Kradamour!! Exactly what I thought…he made us (me especially) fall in love with him all over again after these 2 interviews. Just terrific. If you go to AQD there is a list of 5 or 6 songs from the new album, what they are about and even a little demo snippet from one of them.

Haha I don’t go to Kohl’s much either. They seem to carry notable lines…JLo, Vera Wang…have never been able to find anything. Nice that you were able to find that jacket. I had no luck.

The cord was hanging there but no pendant. My new office is the back of the building (old hospital} with very long hallways. I retraced my steps with no luck. When I finally checked my car out it was there on the floor. I’d really thought I’d never find it. Now I have to get a new cord or chain. Can’t wait to hear the song, about his relationship with Sauli and language problems amongst others.

I was really proud of how he handled that question and the changes that he and Sauli made for the better in their relationship. Sounds like someone who has his head on straight and wants to be happy with the man he loves.

Someone isolated the snippet of the demo of Underneath (one of the songs Byron Cooke previewed). Take a listen, because I remember when I heard a snippet of Can’t Let You Go and fell in love with it. I think Adam will kill this song and it sounds beautiful. Byron said Adam’s version just had a piano! Hope it stays that way.

Really feelin that “We Will Rock You” inspired opening rhythm, the bass lines got an “Another One Bites The Dust” feel to it and theres a really cool guitar hook. Best line has gotta be “Wait till ya get a load of me”. Theres a breakdown part near the end just straight Adam vox and drums..no bass. Sick.

2] COOKOO : Ollie Gee, Bonnie McGee & Adam co wrote this. Bonnies previous credits include several Katy Perry hits. Cookoo is another one for the hit list! Wont give too much away on this one! Wait till ya hear it! Definately a party jam.

3] BROKEN ENGLISH : An anthemic, slower tempo track co written with Adam by Lester Mendez [Enrique, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Dido]. A beautiful love song which might just possibly be autobiographical. “I know you will understand I gotta tell you somehow”. Like say you had a partner whos 1st language wasnt English….you might encounter this situation! Quite haunting in parts & some fat beats ..an amazing song.

4] UNDERNEATH : Another track from Adam’s “darker side” and definately one of the stand outs. Its stripped back basically to piano and vocals & REALLY lets Adams vocal shine…at least in the rough mix I was played. You got to remember these tracks are SO new they arent even finished yet!

5] KICKIN IN : Damn it got this white boy movin! [dont worry I wont show you my moves] Written by Pharrell, its a club banger and for mine…a HIT! “She puts the shot glass down, she asks for another round, girl dont u hit the ground, is it kickin in”. Funky shit.

6] CHOKEHOLD : Adam didnt play me the song but went out of his way to tell me about it at lunch. Hes really excited for people to hear it when its ready. Says its got a 90′s Depeche Mode feel to it…I say bring it on!

Omigosh! Thanks to Byron, I really can’t wait now! I’m liking BTIKM a bit more, but I want to hear songs that rock my boat! Very excited with Byron’s preview. I think in one of the interviews he said for his 30th birthday he would be in the UK? I’ll be in my home country at a music festival that weekend. Gotta lose some weight before I head down to pig out! I won’t list what I plan to eat there. Too shameful to mention. I may do so when I return after rolling my overfed self off that plane.
The hotel I’m staying at is all-inclusive with 5 restaurants on the premises, so gearing up for the foodfest. I’ll have to skip the swimsuit this time around. Couldn’t find a pig emoticon, so the hippo will do. More fitting anyway.

Sigh. So many goodies today, I’m just worn out. I loved both of the radio interviews. He is so dang articulate, thoughtful, and interesting. He handled the Fingate question masterfully and I have huge respect for the way he was honest, took responsibility for what happened, expressed regret, and committed to learning from it and improving himself as a result. Damn, he makes it so easy to love him.

And holy crap, the details from Byron Cooke’s listening session make me want to hear this music so bad! I’m excited about all of the songs! I’m particularly intrigued by Broken English at the moment, because I’m such a romantic, this is clearly Sauli’s song, and I am so smitten with Adam/Sauli together. Besides the lyric that Byron tweeted, remember these additional lyrics to Broken English that Adam tweeted and Sam Sparro owned up to? Sounds very sexy.

Hello Everyone, been lurking mostly of late. We are only in our new place here in GA 6 weeks (and part of that was dedicated to the holidays) and now all of my husbands siblings (and a few nephews, nieces, etc) are descending on us like storm troopers next weekend about 22 in total. 12 are staying at our house and the rest in hotels or they live here. So I have had to push up some “projects” so that the place is as presentable as I can make it. It will be a blast and of course this is one of the reasons we wanted to get out of south FL, so we could be closer. But I gotta tell ya, I am worn out and suppose to be looking for a job..well that is on the back burner for a few more weeks.

Anyway, I can’t wait for this Adam storm to kick off. I have loved every snippet I have heard so far..so excited for the album’s release!!! I actually did something today, that I haven’t done since I was a kid. I contacted 2 top 40 radio stations in Atlanta via twitter and requested Better Than I Know Myself. One of them was actually playing WWFM as I was typing the request…so awesome!!!

So, here in RL at work and they give us the vacation schedule to fill in the dates we want to take. How the Hell am I supposed to fill this out when I don’t know the tour dates yet??!!

Is everyone excited for the Jay Leno and Ellen shows??? I’m so lucky that I get Thursday off for the Ellen show! and I can watch Leno without having to worry about not getting enough sleep for work

Loved the interviews from yesterday! Love hearing him say Sauli and his laugh. His laugh is so contagious!!! Now starts the BERTING all over again ladies and gents!!!

And sometime soon we’ll get the BTIKM video! And Adam went back to the fanclub and posted a message! All is right in the world of a Glambert!!

RCA is doing one heck of a job promoting Kelly Clarkson with this new album of hers. Sheesh — the gal has been scheduled for the X Factor, AMAs, SNL, Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, The Voice Mentor, and the list continues. My big hope is that RCA will be as kind and aggressive with Adam’s promo opportunities.

Can’t remember the last show she sang on but all anyone talks about is the way she dresses. But I do like her as a person. Down to earth, honest, very sweet.
