I have found that any of those prepacked salad mixes, dont mix well me. They put some kind of preservatives in them, as do salad especially at Olive Garden, I cant eat there anymore. Even when I wash the greens off, doesnt work right for me, a cleanse for sure. I never had any problem when I grew greens this summer, lol.

Y’know,I read the posts on this site about this or that “other” site that might have trolls, sketchy posts, rude posters, questionable moderation, etc. etc. and honestly I don’t feel any need to peek at those sites or go to those places. This site is such a wonderful and positive place to flail!

Miss Chaos – ChartShowTV is apparently a music channel on TV in the UK. They will be broadcasting the Glam Nation Live DVD later this month (Jan 28). Which is very cool, cuz it will give him good exposure in the UK.

Best wishes to your Mom NKD, my Mom had a knee replacement last year-recovered beautifully. Make sure you keep using the ice machine! I just returned from a 2 week Hawaiian cruise and guess what was played every night in the Disco? Yep-Adam. FYE-remix, and everyone rocked out each time and sang along. Even this 29 years old groupie! Fun!!! Adam on the High Seas!! A Healthy, Happy New Year to all.
Wow…Adam’s make-up free,fresh faced gorgeous whole foods picture is getting lots of love here at work. I left my iPhone on the desk with the pic showing and this nurse walked by and yelled “holy cow who is that guy”? After explaining who it was she and other people who looked at it then recognized him and couldn’t believe it was Adam. Comments were like “where’s the makeup?” and “I hate that makeup”.
I tell ya, as shallow as it sounds (and I can include myself sometimes), I think he’s won new fans because of his new look. Of course we all know that’s his wake up look and it will change. So I’m even more anxious to see his looks on Leno and Ellen.
NKD, hope your Mom does well. I had my left knee replaced just about two years ago and even tho I had some problems and had lots of physical therapy, it was well worth it. I feel great at my age to be walking and talking. Looking at those pictures I wonder what is in the blue bottle. It’s seems to be a topic of conversation in the check-out picture. I notice it predominantly in the cart. It must be more than just bottled water. Inquiring minds what to know.

Last night I went out with my husband and the in-laws to a Johnny Mathis concert. His voice is just so smooth and talk about a heavy vibrato! My dad listened to him when I was young. Anyway I remarked that the last time I was at a concert, GNT, I was among the oldest there and last night I was one of the youngest, so diverse! His voice is iconic, like one day Adam will be I hope. Also funny I asked my husband if he was married and he told me he was gay.
And mils, yes I am a huge Boardwalk Empire fan, love that show, it is so well written. (Ron Howard I believe?)
Calgary…agree…doesn’t look 12, never did IMO. When he was on Idol he looked like a young man in his 20’s. Is maturing now and he’s looking better and better…makeup or not. I actually like eyeliner. Makes his eyes pop more.

I have a feeling that Adam’s new look will be decidedly less glam, more natural and “masculine” face. He has grown up so much, looks so mature without makeup. Or, just less.
Can’t wait for tape of that new Bryon Cooke interview, and all the new stuff coming. Magazine covers, interviews, gaah. I feel like a kid about to enter a candy store. A candy store with a naughty corner. A candy store with a bright side and a dark side. Oh my. I do love dark chocolate.

I think so too. It’s as if he has been preparing us for a changed look. Now what are the haters going to hate about??? (Oh, I’m sure they will find something.)
In a way it took much more courage to be the new guy and to show up in full make-up. I feel like Adam has proven that he has the guts to do that. So now he can take a more relaxed approach, and nobody can blame him for “not being gay enough.”
Really like this post, turquoise.
But, I also think that there was a measure of hiding behind that makeup, and he no longer needs it. I would like to think, and I fervently hope, that Adam feels good enough about himself now that he doesn’t feel the need for “enhancements”…that the chubby outcast is no longer what he sees in the mirror and needs to cover up.
