January seemed to just zip by. It was, of course, Adam’s birthday month but he also managed to get in some skiing (or après-skiing), some parties and even rehearsing new music. This month Adam is set to perform at the Family Equality Council Awards on Feb. 8. He also will be back on Glee on Feb. 25 and there is even a rumor that he will be on Idol later this month as well. It looks like this month will zip right by too – and that gets us closer to a possible Q+AL tour and new music!

    What?? No youtube yet of Adam only boys night. What’s going on with the world. Hopefully one will show up soon since I was out last night and missed most of the show. I have to be honest and say that so far none of the contestants make me want to tune back in next week. This very well may be the last year for AI.

    Loving Shoshanna’s tweet. If the past 2 months haven’t been part of the IFM, I really need to get a stronger seatbelt for my computer chair. Please let their be new music; maybe a song or two for the big screen; of course Queenbert; and lots more on-air time for our BB.

    I watched a quick recap of Idol, FF thru most of it. Loved the Adam parts,( not enough Adam) hated the Harry parts, what a smug so and so. Watched a little of each guitar player singer. Way too much country and not a keeper in the bunch. I predict Spencer Lloyd will win or at least go a long way, on looks alone. Now I know why I quit watching.

    No “lookers” in the bunch on Idol. Shallow but must have the “It” factor…the whole package. Just a bunch of amateurs. Hope I’m surprised, though.

    The pics out of Kiev make me sick. On so many levels. One of which is that most of my family several generations ago came from Kiev.

    I’m actually liking Idol this year. I agreed with a lot of the judges choices, and surprised myself in this. I do however, find Harry to have had a change from the pre-recorded shows and the live shows. He was more irreverent and funny before. Too serious now. IMHO.

    Also, for a guy who has been outspoken about his admiration for Adam, he sure dissed the “big” singers this week. Pretty hypocritical if you ask me.

    I do think cutey pie Sam will win. No matter who else is more talented, he will get oodles and oodles of votes.

    I like Gena. And Caleb.

    Last post before sleep. In regards to Idol…was hoping for someone to swoon over. Am shallow of course. Ain’t gonna happen this time. It’s proven now there are no more sexy, gorgeous, WOW factor…can’t wait to see them next time, guys that can sing too. And this is on any singing show! Oh well, glad one popped up in season 8! Smile
