January seemed to just zip by. It was, of course, Adam’s birthday month but he also managed to get in some skiing (or après-skiing), some parties and even rehearsing new music. This month Adam is set to perform at the Family Equality Council Awards on Feb. 8. He also will be back on Glee on Feb. 25 and there is even a rumor that he will be on Idol later this month as well. It looks like this month will zip right by too – and that gets us closer to a possible Q+AL tour and new music!

    Much much too little air time. Agree that there was more time spent on pimping Adam and Chris than their time on the show. Oh well, only positive things can come from the exposure. Seems like folks are loving his “new” look. I was impressed by both Adam and Chris’s level of sincerity and support for the contestants. Loved that they play FYE at the beginning of the boot camp intro.

    Best part of the show was when Adam and Chris were introduced and Adam towered over everyone! Like a Greek god. Am surprised Idol didn’t roll out a little “what are they doing now” package. Am looking forward to tonight.

    Just finished watching Idol….definitely not enough Adam, but loved the little bits I did see.

    Thought Harry was way off going after Emily about the lyrics.

    My 2 favourites after tonight, Emily and Emkay.

    Its just about to start again…will rewatch the introductions…he had flats on….how small exactly is Daughtry??? about 5’4??

    If Idol doesn’t want people to sing that Grace Potter song, then take it off the song list. Harry really was out of line IMHO. He is not their father, and needs to respect rock’n’roll. Not everyone wants to sing like Sinatra *eyeroll* I have no respect for musical snobs. Most 18 yr olds are plenty knowledgeable these days.

    I totally agree with you riskylady (surprise, surprise!). Harry comes off sounding like a narrow minded old-fashioned jerk. I really liked him in the beginning….not so much anymore.

    I didn’t watch Idol last night. Watched the very beginning heard FYE ( which was cool and had a text from a friends husband to tell me Adam was on Idol and that he looked great LOL) then turned on the Olympics. I knew someone would rip his parts and put them on you tube. Already watched that this morning. He was great but wish we could have heard more in depth what they talked about and not just the sound bites. Ratings were horrible. Not even 10 million. Yikes!

    I know I have already said this but I can’t stand Harry or JLo as judges.

    Okay, people were tweeting Shosh the videos and asking if that was his next single. Maybe that’s why? Why in the world would anyone do that? Like she would answer anyway!!

    I don’t think a 15 second video of a song that may or may not be finished or even on his album is giving anything away. I think it keeps fans engaged. But, obviously, something happened and you may be right Risky.

    I love the comments (mostly from mj’s), tweets, etc. that say how great he looked….when I think he’s looked so much better in other places we’ve seen him. If they only knew…they’d be swooning & drooling all over the place!

    His voice sounds like he’s straining to hit the notes a little on that one youtube. But it’s hard to figure out really what the sound will be like. I’ll wait patiently.
