January seemed to just zip by. It was, of course, Adam’s birthday month but he also managed to get in some skiing (or après-skiing), some parties and even rehearsing new music. This month Adam is set to perform at the Family Equality Council Awards on Feb. 8. He also will be back on Glee on Feb. 25 and there is even a rumor that he will be on Idol later this month as well. It looks like this month will zip right by too – and that gets us closer to a possible Q+AL tour and new music!

    I am going to wait until next Monday to see RuPaul. Trying very hard to not look at spoilers about anything! Not that the episode is a spoiler, no other reason than the internet is just too fast with things!

    Went to mj’s and she had a thread about the Amazing Race and who won! Of course I read it. Hated myself after I did. I will still watch it, though.

    Thanks for the heads-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Loved the clips. Adam looks great. You can see how into him some of the drag queens are lol!

    That ad retraction is hilarious as if. That guy will have that framed and posted somewhere at work and at home until the day he dies.

    I’m not going to think about radio-play until Adam has a label and a cd to promote. In the meantime, he is picking up fans at opposite ends of the age range with Glee and Queen. He’s keeping his name out there, as aely says, which is good.

    Here’s hoping that he and Chris Daughtrey do so well on Idol this week that they are invited back as a semi-permanent counselling duo. I would love to see those two assisting Randy on-and-off all season.

    Am so excited about Idol this week. Actually very curious how Daughtry will be. Never thought of him as any sort of helper or mentor. Of all the former Idol contestants wonder how they chose him? Of course Adam was a given.

    eta: I am always curious…did Chris & Adam meet for the first time for this Idol business?

    Has anyone else watched Mixology? Watched the pilot and LMD is not in the show or the theme music. But I didn’t really like it. Maybe it could get better but right now, (especially without LMD, LOL) it is just not good. There have been plenty of shows that I have not liked the 1st episode that I wind up loving so….just curious if anyone else saw it.

    I watched the first episode aely, and part of the second, until it kept freezing. It was not very good, but maybe it’ll improve. Heh
    I watched it on demand and there were promos at the end of the episode with LMD playing, but that was all.

    I was thinking watching it – there are some stupid people out there but these characters aren’t even believable as people. It’s like real people on steroids X 10. Just calm down!

    So LMD is promo music only. Maybe that is a good thing. Heh

    Mixology has been heavily promoted with LMD playing on almost all of them. It gives the song some familiarity if they decide to release it as a single.

    How long ago was the RuPaul show taped? I didn’t see the nose ring on Adam or is that a thing of the past. Maybe the pierce hole heals up like your ears do and you can take it out and then put it back in. Question Luval, glad your enjoying Johnny He has a very good looking husband who is Russian and a Cambridge law school graduate. He didn’t go to Russia and worry’s about Johnny and others safety. He’s not a Putin fan. So far things seem pretty quite over there and hope it continues.

    Johnny said this morning that he has never experienced any negativity in Russia and that he is there to do a job, not make a statement. He said he loves it there. I wonder what realstevegray has to say about that, he seemed so ready to blast Adam..

    I don’t really get this shades of Elvis book……now if they had been made to look and dress like him, then yes. But its just a book of photographs of lots of stars wearing a pair of sunglasses….Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Elvis.

    HK fan…I believe the deal with this book is that those sunglasses everyone are wearing belonged to Elvis. It’s the same pair in every shot. Elvis’s signature aviator glasses. Sort of a “looking through Elvis’s eyes” type of thing. I am selfish. Adam should have had more photos but I guess it was one per artist. He’s really the only one for me that can channel Elvis. Without the mustache, though.

    I just watched Adam on my tv!!!! Glee……only trouble was after it being all nice and quiet for an hour or so before hand, everyone chose that time to come down and start making a noise…..
