Morning! Just want to say that the building next to Ron’s has a pretty good Bed, Bath and Beyond in it, among other stores. Cannot imagine living on any floor above 15 (which is how high the fire engine ladders go.)
Wish I had known about Madonna sooner – love her. NVM, Ron. There’s a 50/50 chance that a personal meeting with her could leave a fan in shambles. She can be quite prickly. A lot of celebrities do this kind of soft promotion. A few years back I saw Sting at a movie theatre one evening and later found out that he was there to promote a Yoga Studio the next day.
I have an event that you can dress up for, though. I had high tea at Casa Loma on Sunday and it was almost as good as the Ritz. (Almost – you did not get a pot of tea at the table, there was a server.) Also the place was full to the gills. Four different tea rooms going at once.
They are having a Downton Abbey exhibit shortly – 20 gowns. Your tie and tails would not be out of place.

I hope you’re right, too, Sparkle. Based on all the hints there’s an awful lot coming down the pipes and it time for them to start spilling. Couldn’t help noticing that Adam is talking past tense re: Glee. Maybe some of his other projects are about to take over his schedule.
Queen is most pressing for fans imho. People need to plan their holidays.

As you probably know, I started doing the almost nightly “Sweet Dreams” when the lovely and talented Kradamour became too overwhelmed with RL to post here very often (Krads if you’re lurking, give us an update on how you are doing – you are very much missed around here!). Ron will be planning his wardrobe for weeks!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if Cher made it to Toronto as well – my boss/her cousin is certainly expecting to see her here when Adam + Queen roll in.

Question: Why was it important to bring Adam and Chris back?
Answer: They’re two complete individuals with different, opposing views. Adam is charismatic with a great voice-that season we all thought he was going to win-while Chris has the live, American pop-rock thing. There’s no area that they don’t know a lot about.

Was in my car and heard Katy Perry’s new song Dark Horse. I had seen it on the Grammy’s and I realized now what it reminds me of…Sleepwalker! Of course it’s just me but I remember our discussions of how SW would be a great single but what station, what format would play it? Of course, it’s Katy Perry. Anyone else hear the similarity?
Had a doctor’s appointment today and the doc always asks about my travels…mentioned Iheart, Adam, etc. And doesn’t he say “geez, he’s fallen by the wayside”. OMG, fumbling over my words trying the worldwide superstar thing, Idol. Funny, he’s the one who said the program directors have all the say on radio play. He was very excited about the possible Queen mini tour, though.
Really hope something happens soon.
rs, I wish my computer guy “Sam” lived near you. He was recommended by someone at work and he’s a genius! My brother was desperate…Sam does house calls…brags about how good he is and he wasn’t kidding. Took him 2 hours to fix what 3 weeks and 2 companies couldn’t do.
