Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Adam seems to have a few things in common with Apollo

    Ok I’m really showing all of you my “deep” side. I firmly believe in what mils just showed us. It’s sort of like the old saying “six degrees of Kevin Bacon”. If we all look close enough we all have this.

    I have never followed any star, musician, artist ever before. I have wide tastes in all these areas. When my tv screen first showed me Adam – from that first second – I held my breath. Wasn’t sure what that meant. A little later I reasoned it to be the fact that I was picking up on his sexuality. In the almost 3 years I don’t think that is what I was getting. This man has a reason for being where he is. His talent, looks, personality and his timing are going to serve him well. We don’t know what the end game will be for him but I’m going to go out on a limb and say none of us will see it coming. (Ok so now you can order the straight jacket!! Silly Eek!

    Thanks rainbow. I agree. Something grabbed me the second I saw him at the audition. From the first second. I couldn’t even figure it out. The raw sexuality, the voice, the stage presence, the joy, the playfulness, just all of it.

    I have never, in all my “30” years been so hooked. Granted, we didn’t have the internet back then, but still, even if we did, I wouldn’t have been interested in checking anyone out or following anyone. Not Donny Osmond, not Michael Jackson
    ( Jackson 5 era) not David Cassidy, not Bobby Sherman. They were too bland back then. Too asexual. Robert Plant and Zeppelin scared me as a young girl. I only got into Zeppelin in high school.

    Now, my mom was really into Tom Jones. I mean, really into Tom Jones. I was a little girl, but when his weekly show came on, we were told to stay in our rooms, play with our toys, because her Tom was on TV. Maybe she didn’t want to share him, maybe she was embarrassed to have us see her ogling him. Whatever, I just don’t see her as the type that would follow him the way we do now with Adam.

    I can’t believe how often I am here. In between mundane work and household chores. I bet if they had me/us undergo a brain scan while watching Adam, they would find that our “pleasure” centers light up. Just like for addicts, and for great food, and sexual experiences. If I’m being too graphic, so be it.

    Anyways, the Apollo connections are interesting. I understand there is also a Saturn stage. That could have been interesting too!

    chuckle. I have often thought that. So much travel, but he always looks “put together” and unwrinkled with variations from appearance to appearance.

    And I have to say, also, that Adam has a very European “look” going on now. When I am in an airport, I often try to figure our who is American, who is European…it usually isn’t too hard. I would peg Adam as European if I ran into him in an airport (and could still think clearly!), and as he travels more, that becomes more pronounced.

    We also finally have something listed under “Upcoming Shows” in the top right corner! So exciting to see “Queen + Adam Lambert”!

    Of course, the bad news this week is that BTIKM is still not gaining any radio traction, with only one Hot AC add and no Top 40 adds for the week. Weekly spins on the rolling 7 day Hot AC chart have stalled out as well just above 500, leaving the song stuck at #32 (I think it peaked at #31). We’ll see if the video shows up on VH1 countdown this weekend, but I’d have to think that RCA will be looking to pull the plug pretty soon and move on to another single before the album drops.

    OMG…Adam is on the radar here, at last! On an interior page of today’s newspaper, this item:

    HE WILL, HE WILL ROCK YOU
    Former “American Idol” singer Adam Lambert is joining rock band Queen for a concert this summer, at Sonisphere 2012.
    The concert takes place July 7 at Knebworth Park in Stevenage, north of London.
    Lambert, 30, has sung with Queen before.

    Not sure what to make of it. Even when Adam played here on tour, there was nothing in the paper. Looks like Queen may be a “ticket” to get him mentioned in places that have ignored him in the past. I wish that he could do that on his own merits, rather than on Queen’s coattails, but whatever. I still can’t believe I saw Adam’s name in the paper!

    Still no radio here as far as I know. 97.3.

    Just checked: WWFM 105 songs ago. But, BTIKM is now included in the requests. And it’s in the first spot you can request. “A” is for Adam apparently. It’s not under “L” for Lambert.
