Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Does anybody know the setlist when Queen and Freddie played at this venue?

    I’m trying to find that info for you. But in the meantime I saw this about that concert. It was the last time Freddy performed live with the band. It was in 1986. Here’s what was said about that show…

    The show sold out within two hours and over 120,000 fans packed the park for what was Queen’s final live performance with Mercury.

    In October 2011, it was announced that Queen will be recording a new album featuring lost demos of Mercury on vocals.[185] Brian May confirmed that he and Taylor are working their way through the band’s old material to compile a selection of unreleased songs for the forthcoming album.[185] May also revealed that a series of duets that Mercury recorded with Michael Jackson are to be released in 2012.[186]
    In February 2012, it was announced that Queen will be headlining Sonisphere at Knebworth on 7th July with Adam Lambert.[187]

    May and Taylor also confirmed that for this very special event they will be joined by US singer-songwriter ADAM LAMBERT.

    The potent chemistry between QUEEN and Lambert broke the surface when at the invitation of Brian May and Roger Taylor, Lambert joined them for the closing showcase at the recent MTV Europe Awards where QUEEN were present to collect their Global Icon award.

    The first thing I noticed is that Adam is referred to as a singer-songwriter. Love it! And there is no mention of Idol.

    Guys, Its getting ugly at MJs Nele put in her dig and I walked outside, so I wouldnt say something I shouldnt have. Hello, Kris played at a 100 person bar thingy, and Nele thinks thats the best thing in the world. But Adam playing at this Queen thing, no big deal according to her. Well people replying to her are gonna get deleted or banned, well I am going back, its gonna get good, lol

    This is the set list they used in 2008. I would imagine the one from 1986 would look pretty much like this. I will still keep looking though…

    I can book a hotel on credit right now, but I’m gonna have to get a part time job for the plane ticket, about $1300.00 geez, I better get those want adds out asap. I cant believe I’m doing this, I think I’ll book a show to while I’m there. Anyone have any suggestions? Who else is going? Ya’ll don’t know me much as I usually just lurk, but I just couldn’t help myself, this is awesome, Just awesome times a 100!!!

    This is the closest I could come. This is the Queen set list from July 12, 1986. It was the Magic Tour and that’s how it was billed for Sonisphere. So this should be what they sang on that fateful night.

    Northern Spirit and I just bought a Rock Royalty pass for the entire weekend. We’re booked for the Premier Inn. It looks like a good deal because it includes 3 night’s accomodation for two, plus two full weekend festival passes and shuttle bus to and from. We figure, after exchange rate, its approximately $800 each which is pretty good.

    What I’m saying is: if you go for it, we might be able to rustle up another Toronto person for you to share with. We have a few people we can’t get hold of (it’s family day here) and we will probably have an odd number.

    I love Adam so much I’m going – come hell or high water.

    What an exciting day! I go take a drive for 4 hours (to get back home) and when I arrive, I find I’m going with TLKC to Sonisphere! I’m so excited.     HK fan – buy the package for Premier Hotel. Includes 3 nights accomodations for two PLUS two passes for the entire weekend PLUS loot bag, PLUS access to backstage Rock Royalty garden with food and cash bar and LATE NIGHT DISCO and more surprises. It works out to approx. $1600 Cdn. for two people. Not bad at all. Plus a chance to fraternize the way we did on the patio in Ste-Agathe. We don’t want to see a lot of the other acts anyway. LOL

    Plus I think the LATE NIGHT DISCO is tailored to us, cause they are not a disco crowd.

    this according to someone from England on what the concert might look like…
    It won’t be 24 songs. It’s a headline act of a festival… They’ll be on for an hour maybe so 8 to 10 songs I’d say?

    The Olympics would have been one song only so this is awesome. For me, it’s a lifetime thing. I am 60 this year. A housemate turned 60 last year and she went to the Amazon. I told her I was going to the drugstore. Now I’m going to the UK. I will see all of my family over there, visit Tate Modern, which I’ve been dying to see, etc. And I will see Adam and Queen.
