Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Is it just me or does Adam seem to be enjoying the fans more now? I think I saw the first differences in his reactions in Ste Agathe and thought then that it was because he had missed the stage and the fan energy. But he seems very open and warm to the interactions, not that he wasn’t before, but something has changed.

    nekkid, I was thinking exactly the same thing last evening when I was watching the interviews and interactions.

    During the tour I always felt that he was uncomfortable with the chatter between songs. Like some of it was really rehearsed. You know how he talked in one recent interview about hiding behind the glitter, not sure of who he really was. That maybe, the music was good and he was proud of it but it didn’t fit like a glove. Now that he’s had some down time, he’s learned to handle the hate, and, yes, he’s gotten to know who we are I think there is a comfort for him and a confidence. In the 94.5 when TALC asked a question. He said “there’s my girls” and he was happy to see someone he knew. He’s answered almost every question anyone could ask (Plenty!) so there aren’t as many curve balls coming his way…He’s settling in to his place. Also we cannot underestimate how much it helps him to go home to Sauli and have him at his side.

    ITA, rainbowgal. I also think that at first, all of us screaming strangers (fans, paps, whomever) probably all looked like one terrifying blob to him. And it all happened suddenly and at once. Natural reaction would be to back off and protect yourself, especially when he was really quite alone in the maelstrom. I think that is a big part of why Leila stayed close, unusually close for the mom of a new rock star almost 30 years old.

    We all commented that the “patter” was getting more natural. At Ste Agathe, even though the crowd was large, he felt at home with us and had obviously missed the interaction…PLUS Sauli was there and had been “there” for quite a while.

    I think we also should not underestimate how wonderful it must have been for Adam to hear us all scream “Sauli!” as he walked by us, and to hear afterward from Sauli how much love he got from us. Such affirmation from his fans for this critically personal and important choice perhaps also lowered the barriers and made him feel safe with us to this extent.

    Isn’t Sonisphere like the Moscow festival where there are a few stages and people just walking by can watch a show? Although with Queen it will be a massive audience. I hope they have good security.
