rainbowgal, I just loved that recap of the meet and greet! Thank you for posting…her attitude could be an example for everyone! Just be in the moment, don’t stress over signing, photos, or anything else. I love that her day worked out so well, and that her friends were able to have time with Adam also outside the station. And I love that a woman who is obviously so focused and intelligent and capable can also fangirl with the best of them! It makes me feel better about my fangirling…
(luval, that was the coat that Adam wore at our meet and greet in Paris, yes?) I love that coat…and that he recycles his clothes so well. Re wearing that pricey jacket at a club? He seems to take very good care of his clothes, even to wearing those little protective things on the leather coat when he was squooshing the pomegranate, so I think the jacket was safe even in a club. 
Hi Kradamour…I have a blurry picture of Adam on my desktop from Paris that Goatie took (before Neil screamed out no cameras). I don’t think this is the same coat. Paris was tweedier with an open lapel situation. but I do believe he bought/wore the NYC coat in Paris when he took that few days trip there after the Europe tour. We think it’s his first little vacay with Sauli. The rumour was Keisha at the time. Maybe I can find the pics outside of the gay club.

here/blogs. What you say is out in the world for all to see. A post on
a blog is ment for blog members, but no login is required to read so open
to the public. Tweets are directed to a specific person or the tweeters
followers but unless the private switch is thrown – anyone can read. Once
in a while, people forget (or don’t care) and get in or cause a world of
hurt. All the fun of public discussion.

Don’t know if that’s still true. We had a lot of angst back in the sixties and rebelled against anything of our parents’ generation. In my family now we have four generations of Adam fans, from my 80 year old father, me, my daughter, and my 19 year old granddaughter. Three generations of us went to the GlamNation concert together. My granddaughter has always been impressed that I am knowledgeable about the more current artists. She and her mother share an iTunes account and enjoy the same downloads. Anyway, not sure a generational divide will be a factor in Adam’s popularity like it might have been in the past.

My favorite is also Australian licorice, red or black. Just better than what we get here, softer and more intense flavor. And, if you are an Allsort purist, the English variety is best.
Good and Plenty are yummy too. Especially the Plenty.

nkd, Dutch licorice can be sweet or salt, and can be hard or soft. There are a gazillion different ones and believe it or not, they all taste different! Dutch stores sell them here, and sometimes supermarkets will have them too. Don’t spend too much, I do believe you need an acquired taste
Sauli may like the Panda licorice, as far as I know those are Scandinavian.
mieps, an acquired taste? How different is it than American licorice? I’ve had so many different licorice candies in my 29 years, hard and soft, but not sure about salty.

On my Twitter page I see my Twitter name on the top left. I also see a rectangular-shaped box that says “Compose New Tweet”. I’m not seeing “protect my tweets” anywhere on the page. It probably doesn’t matter because I’m sure that if and when I choose to tweet something it wouldn’t be private.

Your family sounds a lot like mine. Before my mother passed this last July we had 4 generations of Adam fans. My daughter, her son, my Mom and I all went to the Idol concert in Minneapolis. It was my grandsons first concert. My daughter got my Mom tickets to the Glam Milwaukee concert. We all share an interest in music and email youtubes back and forth. So you are right we really aren’t experiencing the rebellion that happened in my younger years. I also have a sister and two nephews who are on the receiving end of all things Adam. They just can’t understand where I could possibly find all that information.

I’m glad you liked her recap. I was following her on her twitter account that day. It was fun to “listen” to her get ready and stay centered. She was so determined to stay in her day and not get carried away. She’s someone I’d really like to meet. I like her attitude and down to earth approach. Maybe sometime we might be in the same place as her. That would be nice.

I absolutely loved that 94.5 video from the fan who was at the event! So comfortable…Adam seems to be so comfortable with the small crowds of fans…no speakers…loved how he talked about making music without technology…and that he is so over the glitter! lol…
These small gigs make me think of Upright Cabaret, but a much more confident Adam is sitting on that stool now.

Is it just me or does Adam seem to be enjoying the fans more now? I think I saw the first differences in his reactions in Ste Agathe and thought then that it was because he had missed the stage and the fan energy. But he seems very open and warm to the interactions, not that he wasn’t before, but something has changed. Maybe he truly does feel he knows us better.

During the tour I always felt that he was uncomfortable with the chatter between songs. Like some of it was really rehearsed. You know how he talked in one recent interview about hiding behind the glitter, not sure of who he really was. That maybe, the music was good and he was proud of it but it didn’t fit like a glove. Now that he’s had some down time, he’s learned to handle the hate, and, yes, he’s gotten to know who we are I think there is a comfort for him and a confidence. In the 94.5 when TALC asked a question. He said “there’s my girls” and he was happy to see someone he knew. He’s answered almost every question anyone could ask (Plenty!) so there aren’t as many curve balls coming his way. He’s worked this time with so many big names in the industry. He’s settling in to his place. Also we cannot underestimate how much it helps him to go home to Sauli and have him at his side. The Adam I’m seeing now is so much like the Adam when I had my m&g. I’m glad he can take that unguarded Adam now to other places and not worry.

Thank you also. I didn’t feel criticized at all. I love this place and early on others did the yeoman work getting the extras to this site. I’d been away for some time with my Mom and when I came back I wanted to pay all of you back for the fun and information. While I was gone I thought of all of you so often and what fun I must be missing. It was so good to know that you would all be here when I was able to spend the time at this crazy place.
