mils, you’re right about the Adam stuff being available almost immediately. But I really would like to have the home unit for other information as well. rainbowgal4, you may remember that I listen to OutQ a lot–just about always when I’m on the road. And, since I don’t really watch TV, the unit would be used a lot at home. I even disconnected my TV cable earlier this month. Couldn’t see continuing to pay $70 per month for service that was used primarily by my mom. That’s $$ that could go into my Adam Slush Fund. Maybe I can talk my friend into buying my XM unit for my birthday in June.
ETA: That’s if my friend asks what I want for my B/D. I would never outright ask for a specific anything as a gift.

“PLENTY”..a large number or amount (Websters new collegiate dictionary).
I have decided to trademark the word Plenty and start a line of merchandise. Baseball caps, key chains, tee shirts. sports towels, underwear, golf balls, etc etc etc. You name it and I’ll have it. I will keep, er donate some of the profits to Charity Water. So whattaya think of this idea!

Good and Plenty was my brother and my favorite candy when we were growing up. Still is pretty much up-there on our list. When he was four years old we lived in Flint, Mich., in the 1950’s. He got a chair and climbed up to his stash of coins and set out to the store to buy a box. The store was about 10 blocks away. There was a closer store, but he knew better than to cross the street with lots of traffic. We followed him by the trail of pennies that he lost out of the pockets of his tiny little elastic-waist denim jeans. We met him coming back with his little box of Good and Plenty(s). He knew the ropes because (as his older sister [I was 8]) we went in groups to this store to buy this candy.

I’m reminded of a show I watched recently. It was from BBC America, played on PBS here. It was Michael Palin of Monty Python fame ( Now go away or I shall taunt you again) in Nepal. The house there had huge phallic symbols painted on it. It’s a custom. Great big colorful anatomically correct with, um, something “shooting” out. One on each side of the doors and each side of each window.
Glorious actually. ( ** dabs a tear ** ).
That would make a great logo.
And send us all to jail in America.
Oh well.

I just caught up. With regard to the Plenty logo. Do we have an artist among us??? If someone came up with one and did it in a jpeg format I would drop it on a disc and take it to the local shirt transfer place. I would love to wear one. Plus it could be put on bumper stickers, posters, etc at a sign shop. What do you all think.

Just got back from a Mardi Gras bash…the band was great, and suddenly I heard “…while I kiss this guy”…and I felt myself in Paris again at Adam’s concert when he did Purple Haze but of course the lyrics here weren’t really that lol…and because it was Mardi Gras, the room was filled with purple (and gold and green).
Here in AntiAdamLand this is what will have to pass for an Adam moment so I reveled in it!!! I take what I can get…sigh…pretty sad when the only Adam moments I have are actually Hendrix moments…
